Code 810 - Running to Stay Alive
Chapter Four

After Arjuna's face, the victim's husband had returned slightly reddened, missing his pale little by little which signaled that everything was now fine as ever.

The victim's husband is now able to breathe again as he can and as if he can control himself again with great difficulty, he re-enforces his sitting position.

“Have you guys found bedeb** that did all this to my wife?“ asked the husband of the victim still with a trembling voice that was as strong as he tried to hide.

“Sadly Arjuna, we have not found the culprit but we can make sure that we will arrest him for the peace of your late wife,” answered confidently also trying to strengthen the husband of the victim.

“Then from that we really really need help from you so that we can quickly catch the culprit,” added detective Keiko full of hope.

“Of course! Whatever I do, I will answer your question, any item that I need to submit to the polices will be immediately given because the important thing now is that you must give me certainty that you will catch the br****** that and gave the punishment that was most in proportion to what he had done to my beloved wife,” sadness in the voice of the husband of the victim is now turned into a rage that sounds very real and seems to be exploding at any time unexpectedly.

“So let's sort everything back from the beginning. When exactly did you report your wife's disappearance?“ let me start this question and answer session with Arjuna, the husband of the victim.

“Yesterday afternoon, I reported losing Sephia yesterday afternoon when she didn't come back at the time she should have. As usual, my wife went in the afternoon to do jogging, a habit she always had and had done even before we got married,” the husband of the victim started telling stories while answering questions from me.

“So the victim should have known the running place well, right!?“ I try to gather as much information as possible from my husband.

“My wife came back to this city about two years ago after we got married. He did not live here but lived in another city with his family. But if you ask him if he knows this city well, especially the city park? I can answer that most likely he already knows even though not in its entirety,” the husband of the victim answered that question easily.

“Why don't you try to find a victim in the path he used to run last night? Why should I report to the police first? Wouldn't it be easier if you find your own wife, as you say your wife almost every day jogging of course you know the usual path your wife goes through?!“ ask detective Keiko and read the husband's reaction when asked such a question.

“My wife used to jog about an hour and never more than four kilometers from our house every day but my wife always changed her running path with a period of time that we never had both know. As you also know, that the running path in the city park is branched. Even sometimes he did not go to the city park but he used to try to go elsewhere for jogging because my wife was easily bored and honestly yesterday I did not know if he was running in that city park or somewhere else,” replied the husband of the victim again then then the victim's gaze suddenly blank as if his soul was detached from his body that was still sitting in front of me and detective Keiko.

“In other words that day you do not know where your wife is exactly?“ I tried to resuscitate Arjuna.

“It was as I said last night and that night he did not come home as expected when he usually came home, I immediately called 117 to report his loss,“ quickly Arjuna's soul has reentered his body.

The room is not how wide it is quiet to be lost because the conditions began not conducive anymore. The victim's husband's face turned pale as if the oxygen that was supposed to go into his lungs was blocked again and detective Keiko swiftly approached him trying to help as much as possible.

After seeing the husband of the victim was back able to control himself again, I also gave warm water that I brought from the pantry.

“Are you okay, Arjuna?“ ask detective Keiko trying to ascertain the condition of the victim's husband who once again coleps.

After drinking the warm water the victim's husband nodded his head slowly and signaled that he was fine.

“Can you continue our question and answer session or better you go home for a rest first and we can reschedule this interview at a later date?!“ detective Egan gives a proposal that the husband of the victim can choose.

But the husband of the victim chose to continue this question and answer session because he wanted to solve the case as soon as possible and the police arrested the perpetrator who must be responsible for the loss of his beloved wife's life.

“We just keep going, for my wife's sake, I can do it,.“

After getting the fuck, finally me and detective Keiko decided to continue the question and answer session with the husband of the victim whose condition is now much better.

“What did the 117 party tell you that night Arjuna?“ I try to find more information.

“That night they promised me to find my wife and they also said that she had forwarded my report to the division that was taking care of the missing person right then and there,” replied the victim's husband again.

“Indeed like that arjuna procedure,” said I approve what the husband of the victim did.

“They did keep their promise to me to find my wife but really I never expected that they found my wife in this state.“

Tears that were accommodated at the bottom of the eyes of the victim's husband who had been as strong as he had been detained as if he had almost fallen flooded his face which was quite gallant.

“Maybe you guys will ask me how can I be sure that my wife always reaches the point of four kilo meters every time jogging? because every week we will both check the monitoring bracelet that is connected to our computer devices at home. A watch bracelet I gave him as a birthday present last year and I still remember how happy my wife looked when she received it,” continued the husband of the victim with tears that he was unable to bear anymore.
