Code 810 - Running to Stay Alive
Chapter Twenty Two

A phone call to detective Keiko's cell phone gets her back to having to focus on her work.

“I have new info about our suspect,”, Aris said on her second phone.

“Great! Lo is indeed the most reliable,” praise detective Keiko.

“Are you the same as Egan?“

“Kok lo can know?“ detective Keiko was amazed by Aris's guess.

“I just met professor Birdella and there is no you, then another possibility is you with Egan,” reply Aris.

“We were at the caffee shop on the ground floor trying to enjoy our break. I'm the same Egan directly to your room now,” said detective Keiko.

“Faster will be better,” says Aris.

“Anyone want to drop from here?“ detective Keiko offered.

“Today I tried rose tea there. Can't I ask to bring it here?“ ask Aris.

“It is definitely possible. I bought that and went straight to your room,” Detective Keiko replied.

Not yet detective Keiko cut off her phone relationship with Aris, detective Egan was already standing in a queue line that snared quite towards the cashier. Detective Egan knows that his partner will order something and if it doesn't move quickly they will be in the very back row in that queue.

“Aris what message?“ ask detective Egan.

“Tea roses!“

“Oke.“

After getting the rose tea in the hands of detective Egan and in accordance with the instructions given by Aris, the two detectives immediately headed for the elevator which quickly opened the door and slid up to the floor where Aris' room was be in.

As soon as the elevator doors opened, the two detectives headed straight for Aris's room. When meeting with Aris detective Egan immediately handed Aris's order rose tea and greeted with a smile of happiness.

“So what info?“ asked detective Egan who had just smiled to return a thank you from Aris.

“As we both know that the real name of our suspect is Brian Candra and has already lost someone's life more than once,” Aris began to reveal.

“Betul. We all in this room already know all,” Detective Keiko replied.

“I wonder why he could easily escape the legal snare,” Aris said.

“So is I,” timpal detective Egan.

“And after I found out through his real identity then I realized why he can always escape,” said Aris.

“Because ...“ detective Egan asked for the continuation of Aris' sentence.

“It turns out that Brian Candra is a former special member in the military but he was out of his squad about 10 years ago for disciplinary offenses, ” Aris continued.

“So he does have expertise in disguise, escape and do the job without a trace!?“ detective Egan said.

“And all that he got when he was running training while being a member of the special forces,” said Aris complete what was said by detective Egan.

“So even this pile of money might he use to escape?“ ask detective Keiko.

“It looks like that was the plan. Because after I searched again the bag he was going to take to escape turned out to have a secret pouch that had to be torn to open it, inside there is another false identity of our suspect,” said Aris.

“There are other fake identities?“ detective Keiko was shocked to hear that as well.

Aris retrieves a fake identity card that Brian will use that he found and hands it to detective Egan.

Detective Egan checks the fake identity card and hands it to detective Keiko to make her believe that what Aris says is true.

“He has really prepared everything carefully,” detective Keiko said after seeing the fake identity card.

“Excellent award,” detective Keiko's reply.

“Means Brian's earnings don't mess around,” timpal detective Egan.

“Betul. If you think of— uh I mean, if I consider the money on this table is very much then the money in the account belonging to our suspect who is abroad is much more, the amount is much more,” said Aris dusting.

“How much money are suspects overseas?“ ask detective Egan shocked and curious.

“As information for the two of you, the amount of money that is in our hope amounts to three hundred and fifty million,” said Aris with a hunting breath.

Both eyes of detective Egan perfectly rounded when he heard the numbers and said, “He put that much cash on his mother's grave?“

“Possibly her mother's grave is the safest place according to the suspect,” Aris replied.

“And the reality is like that right, all this time his money is stored safely and no one knows it,” lazy detective Keiko.

“So how much money in foreign account belongs to the suspect?“ detective Egan repeated his question.

“By your heart to hear the nominal,” reply Aris.

“OK,” detective Egan and Keiko replied together.

“The number is two billion,” reply Aris with a reddened face holding back his own shock.

“Where does the suspect have that kind of money? ask detective Keiko.

“Of course we will find out,” reply Aris.

Amidst the three of them, detective Abraham walks into Aris's room disrupting their concentration and their focus shifts for a moment.

“What are you guys talking about?“ ask detective Abraham.

“On the identity of our suspect who turned out to be a former special forces in the military,” Detective Keiko replied summarizing information from Aris.

“Why don't you guys involve me?“ detective Abraham protest.

“We have tried to find you but it seems you do not want us to find,” chirped detective Egan.

“You alone are not really looking,” detective Abraham does not want to lose.

“Already, fuss later if our case is finished,” detective Keiko tried to break up the commotion two stubborn people beside her.

“Continue Aris, what else do you get?“ ask detective Abraham who doesn't seem to start a scene.

Aris who glanced at detective Egan and Keiko asking for a gesture to forward his information finally continued what he was going to tell the detectives.

“I found that every three months the funds go into the account belonging to the suspect is always the same, which is two hundred and fifty million and comes from the same source,” continued Aris.

“Is there any incoming funds three months ago?“ ask detective Abraham.

“Indeed there were funds that came in three months ago and three months later there were funds that came in again amounting to two hundred five million,” replied Aris confidently.

Detectives Egan and Abraham are seen immersed in their own thoughts, as if they do not care about anyone around them at the time until detective Egan says, “Could it be that from a serial killer our suspect turned into a hit man?“

“She earns two hundred and fifty million every time she kills someone,” detective Abraham chimps.

“Three months ago he took someone's life in Spring hill and now after three months he took someone's life here in Winter hill,” detective Egan added.

“Do you already know the name of the money sender?“ detective Keiko asked Aris.

“Unfortunately I have not found it,” replied Aris.

“So now our question has changed, who told him?“ detective Egan said curiously.
