Code 810 - Running to Stay Alive
Chapter Twelve
After the surveillance camera in the interrogation room was confirmed dead, the man who was arrested in front of a jasmine hotel and is now sitting behind a table in front of detective Egan finally introduced himself.
“My name is Abraham, Abraham Brown. And the reason why you can't trace all the identities that concern me is because I'm really the same as you,” said the man firmly, but the statement given by the man turned out to actually make detective Egan wrinkle his forehead, making the two ends of his eyebrows now meet.
But it turns out that not only detective Egan was confused by what was said by the man. Detective Keiko and Mr. Brox who were behind the one-way mirror were confused.
“You are the same as us?“ detective Egan asked with a million turbulent curiosity.
“Yes, this is detective Abraham Brown from the police station in the Spring hill area,” the man continued his story.
“You are also a detective, like us?“ detective Egan is still in disbelief at what he just heard from the mouth of the man he just hit and he almost bu**h with his gun.
“If it is true that you are a detective from the Spring hill district office, why are you here, in our region that you should not be camping at all without an invitation from us?“ ask detective Egan again.
“this time I'm on an undercover mission here because all this time I was indeed blinding the man in the photo who also recorded my face,” replied the man who confessed that he was detective Abraham.
“You also followed Bondan and got carried away here? For what case?“ detective Egan still continues to flocked the man who remained insistent on claiming to be the detective Abraham.
“In our region a few months ago there was a murder and we believed that he was a suspect in the murder case and because of that alesan I kept following him until I got here,” reply the boy.
“But why don't you report yourself first to our side and try to coordinate?“ urged detective Egan.
“I think, as a detective you also know the reason,” replied the man.
Hearing that answer detective Egan again throws a glance at the mirror behind him and beckons to detective Keiko and Mr. Brox.
“It feels like he is indeed an undercover detective,” Brox told detective Keiko who was standing next to him.
“I think so too sir. The case we're dealing with is the same case,” detective Keiko said.
“But anyway, I had to contact the Spring hill county office and question the person in charge of this Abraham datective. I have to confirm the authenticity of his statement,” Mr. Brox does not seem to want any help in this case.
“Can I trust you?“ detective Egan asked the man in front of him.
“Why don't you contact the Spring hill region office and ask my boss directly?“ the man seemed to challenge.
“A good idea. I can ask my superiors to ask that to the Spring hill area office,” Detective Egan reply no less.
“Actually I would like to propose a cooperation to you guys. A cooperation in solving, more precisely capturing Bondan,” detective Abraham tries to make an offer to detective Egan who once again turns his head towards the mirror behind him.
“Who lied to you? Me? Come on Detective Egan, we all know that in an undercover mission we must be able to totality,”, detective Abraham said in a relaxed style.
“But we are now in the police station interrogation room that you should understand that honesty is needed in this place,” said detective Egan.
“And who will guarantee that you will not disseminate my identity that I have been secure as neatly as possible,” snapped back detective Abraham.
“Are you crazy? We're spreading your real identity?“ detective Egan doesn't want to intimidate.
“Oh, it seems you forgot a few minutes ago you threatened I would spread my photo to the mass media?“ detective Abraham said.
“Oh looks like you also forgot that it was me doing because you don't want to cooperate with us. Anyway I only threatened to display your photo in the mass media instead of spreading your identity,” of course the stubborn detective Egan still does not want to lose in a debate.
“Can equally we imagine if my photo plastered in every news in the mass media eating will be there who recognize me and my disguise could be exposed,” continued detective Abraham.
This time it looks like detective Egan got a very balanced opponent who might be at risk of a very hard collision because both people do not want to be on the losing side or even relented.
Detective Keiko in the next room along with Mr. Brox knows very well that the risk of friction between detective Egan and detective Abraham is very likely. So he asked Brox for permission to enter the interrogation room to try to separate the two stubborn creatures.
Mr. Brox also realized that the conditions in the interrogation room were no longer conducive for two detectives who had just met with very similar properties, he said, finally giving detective Keiko permission to enter and degrade the atmosphere inside and it would be better if the two were separated as soon as possible.
As soon as Keiko's detrktif passed the door of the interrogation room, the two detectives' heads immediately turned their heads and their eyes also turned to detective Keiko.
“How about your respective self-introductions?“ ask Detective Keiko who just closed the door behind him.
But the question from detective Keiko was not answered by the two detectives who still seem to be in dispute.
“It looks like the introduction of the two of you is not good enough and happy yes,” detective Keiko quipped.
“Do you believe that this man we suspect is a detective like what he said earlier?!“ detective Egan asks when detective Keiko finally sits next to him.
“We can of course check the truth of his statement through Mr. Brox. You should be able to relax a little more, ” said detective Keiko trying to calm his partner.
“One stop. Lo should be able to relax more gan,” detective Abraham repeated every word of detective Keiko that made not only detective Egan but also detective Keiko surprised to hear it.
But behind the one-way mirror Mr. Brox actually laughed a little at the facial expressions of the two mainstay detectives.
