Chapter thirty five
"WHAT DID YOU SAY!? Detective Egan left with a serial killer?“ said Mr. Brox who was so shocked when he heard the report from detective Keiko.
“Sorry sir, I am careless,” reply detective Keiko feels very guilty.
“I told you that Brian is dangerous. Why can you make mistakes like this?“ ask Mr. Brox.
“Sorry sir,” is all that detective Keiko can say.
“I haven't even given a warning for the special forces that will escort you. In other words we lost detective Egan and the criminal.“
Mr. Brox is worried about the safety of one of his best detectives.
“So you mean, during our trip there was no police officer following?!“ detective Keiko was shocked.
“I think if you guys contact me at the new border I will contact the police station in the region,” replied Mr. Brox.
“But sir, we are now right at the border of the territory office. And in addition to information, Brian confirms all the events that made Egan traumatized,” detective Keiko retorted.
Mr. Brox is speechless to hear what detective Keiko has to say and realizes that detective Egan is not doing well.
“Is Brian talking about Yvone?“
“So you also know about Yvone, Mr Brox?“ ask detective Keiko.
“I will ask Aris for help to trace the whereabouts of Egan and Brian,” Brox said without answering detective Keiko's questions.
“But detective Egan's phone is dead sir,” detective Keiko's reply.
Mr. Brox is upset to find their current situation is not good but even so he does not want to give up and still ask for help from Aris to try to find the whereabouts of detective Egan.
“For now you wait there, Keiko. I will send someone who will pick you up,” orders Mr. Brox to detective Keiko who is approved by detective Keiko despite being anxious about his current situation.

“A very accurate decision to leave your partner there detective ,” praise Brian to detective Egan who is now behind the wheel.
“It looks like all this time you've been stalking me. How long has it been?,” asked detective Egan.
Brian chooses to finish his lunch and asks for a drink to close his lunch session this time instead of answering a question from detective Egan.
Detective Egan handed Brian a paper glass of cold water and Brian drank without thinking much.
“Why not cola?“ brian was disappointed.
“Remember, you are a patient who still has to take medicine and I was given the responsibility to watch over you,” detective Egan replied with a faint smile.
Brian went back to drinking the water and squeezed the paper cup and put it on the car door.
“What do you want?“ ask detective Egan.
“You must have a purpose when stalking me,” Detective Egan replied.
Once again Brian saw detective Egan in the rearview mirror of the car and grinned trying to intimidate.
“You must be eager to catch that guy right!? The one who has taken the life of your beautiful, loyal and patient lover?!“ said Brian.
The two eyes of detective Egan back he tightly closed trying to expel the pain that suddenly struck his chest when Brian asked that.
“If you find him will you take his life like he took the life of your lover?“ asked Brian in a provoking tone.
“I police. My job is to get people like you to meet the judge and get the appropriate punishment instead of taking someone's life and joining a group of bad guys,” Detective Egan replied.
Brian pulled his lips one corner and asked again, “If I help you get a chance to meet the man do you not want to take his life?“
“Of course not. I will just bring the man into the trial and make him responsible,” Detective Egan retorted.
“Did you forget how you found your lover that night? How is the condition, how much blood comes out and the cake that is beside his body that has not growled anymore,” said Brian.
Once again detective Egan close his eyes tightly trying to drive away the glint of events that happened on a rainy night with a rush to make Yvone lose a lot of blood quickly.
Yvone's blood flooded the garden chair she was sitting on. Because of the rain that night, the police had trouble finding who did it because all the DNA and fingerprints of the perpetrator were wiped clean rainwater.
“His beautiful face was wet with rainwater, the dress she was wearing, shouldn't it be white!? But as I recall, that night his taste changed to red,” added Brian and the sentence turned out to trigger the anger of detective Egan who stepped on the brake violently making Brian hamoir snored towards the front.
Detective Egan then gets out of the car and opens Brian's door and pulls Brian out of the car and pushes him to hit the car.
“True. You should have to put your emotions down more often like this so you don't have to be tormented every night and spend a lot of time chasing criminals to try to forget the pain,” Brian did not stop to continue provoking the Dteective Egan.
Detective Egan gave no response but he took his firearm and pointed it right at Brian's head.
“Betul so detective. Do it to me here, mumpung no eyewitness lose you take my life here no one will know like the incident that night on your lover. No eyewitnesses, no perpetrators arrested,” reply Brian who did not stop provoking.
“Silence. I could have lost control and made your soul move to another realm,” detective Egan threatened.
“Do it. Be a part of us, detective.“
Detective Egan begins to show his real face full of anger that almost exploded but a second later he realizes that the goal of becoming a policeman is not to take someone's life.
Detective Egan took a deep breath trying to fill his entire lungs with oxygen to help him think clearly.
Detective Egan lowers his firearm from Brian's forehead and removes his grip from Brian's uniform collar and encourages him to get back in the car.
“Check detective. Why do you stop at the last moment like this. You just have to press the lever and DORR!!“ brian said before detective Egan finally closed the car door.
Detective Egan got back in the car and sat behind the wheel and ran his car back.
“Just show me where you put your first victim, after that if you want me to finish your life then I will grant you,” said detective Egan.
