CHAPTER 8
In the morning of the next day, Claire prepared the proposal documents she had prepared last night and left for Emgrand Group with her husband Charlie.
In front of the 100-story building, Claire suddenly felt doubt.
How would a big company like Emgrand work with the Wilson family? Not to mention, their target was a contract worth 30 million dollars.
This is like a beggar approaching a rich man and asking for 30 million dollars, which is ridiculous.

He took a deep breath and walked through the door.
When he noticed his wife entering the building. Charlie pulls out his phone and calls Doris.
“Doris, my wife is heading upstairs and meeting you right now. You already know what to do!”
“Good, Mr. Wade. Don't worry, I'll fulfill all Miss Claire's requests.”
“Then, I heard Emgrand Group has a close relationship with the Jones family, is that true?”
“True, we do do some projects with them, some are already finished and some are still ongoing. And they want to work with us again on the latest mega project and have sent us proposals and materials to review. But, it all depends on Mr. Wade.”
Charlie spoke in a taut tone. “I don't want the Jones family involved in new projects and all upcoming projects.”
“Good, don't worry, I will do as your command!”

Meanwhile, Claire walks into the Emgrand Group office building and waits for an appointment at the reception desk. He did not even know why Doris Young, a Vice President of the Emgrand Group company, wanted to see him.
Not long after, a graceful female assistant approached and greeted him. “Hai, are you Miss Claire Wilson? Miss Young is waiting for you in her room, please follow me.”
Claire nodded in confusion. He was waiting for his turn to meet. Then, how did Miss Young know she was here and called him to her room?
Did Doris Young know she was coming?
All absurd, how does someone as important as Doris Young know about her?
He could not find the answer, even so, he thought of taking this opportunity. Claire quickly followed the assistant and he was directed straight to Doris's room.
Doris immediately stood up from her seat and greeted Claire respectfully. “Hai, Miss Wilson, I'm Doris Young, Deputy Director of Emgrand Group, nice to meet you.”
Claire looks a little nervous when she meets the most famous business woman in Aurous Hill. As he spoke, his voice sounded trembling but he tried to remain calm. “Halo, Miss Young, thank you for meeting me. I want to talk about the hotel project. Although Wilson Group is not as big and strong as other companies, I assure you that we will work very hard and will create a positive reputation in the design and interior industry!”
He handed me a document and continued his conversation. “Nona Young, this is Wilson Group's portfolio, please view.”
Doris smiled and took the document from her hand. After looking at the document for a while, he immediately spoke. “Nona Wilson, I've read your documents. I thought you were the perfect partner for us.”
“Really? You mean it?” Claire looked confused. Why is everything happening so fast? Real easy?
“Your Director?” Claire said in a surprised tone, then asked, “May I know, who is your Director?”
Doris smiled faintly. “Our director is Mr. Wade from EastCliff.”
“Mr Wade?”
Claire started to be in confusion. “It looks like I don't know anyone else by the name of Wade, except my husband.”
Doris nodded slowly. Charlie had ordered him to cover up his identity, so he could not speak much.
Other than Charlie Wade, Claire doesn't know anyone else by the surname Wade, but she still can't guess, since her useless husband was an orphan, there's no way Mr. Wade was meant.
Then Doris added. “Nona Wilson, I saw in your proposal that your offer for this contract agreement is worth 30 million dollars?”
Claire nodded and asked doubtfully, “Is it too big?”
Doris smiled and replied. “Oh, no, even it's under from what we budgeted.”
Claire frowned her forehead filled with curiosity. “What does it mean?”
“Director asked us to raise the value of the offer to 60 million dollars.”
In the midst of the conversation, Doris took out a contract and handed it to Claire. “Look, we have made a contract with a value of 60 million dollars. If you do not object, you can sign the contract now.”
“Hah? This..“
Claire was aghast, filled with confusion.
He had never expected, that the Emgrand Group that seemed untouched by the Wilson Group, had already prepared a contract!
