Who do you think you are?
Wendell looked at Charlie suspiciously as she said, “You are nothing but a loser, you can't even look after your wife. In vain Claire is with you, why don't you just let go of her and let her be with me? I can give her what she wants!”
Charlie's face looked cold as if it was covered in ice. He spoke in a cold tone, “I give you two options, first apologize to Claire and retract what you said in front of everyone, or I will bankrupt your family company. Decide now.”
“Hahaha! You kidding? Who can you make my family bankrupt?”
Wendell laughed very loudly as she looked towards Charlie. Obviously, he didn't take Charlie seriously.
“Your brain is in a snore, you fucking loser! You dream? Don't you know how much our company is worth? What can you do to bankrupt us? Haha!”
Charlie looked at Wendell expressionlessly at all, as if the one in front of him was a fool. Then, he pulled out his phone and called Stephen.
“In 3 minutes, I want to see the Jones family business go bankrupt and frozen, let their debt pile up!”
To bankrupt a company that is worth billions in three minutes, that is arguably very unlikely!
Wendell looked back at Charlie with a condescending look and said, “Loser, you are full of lies! You think you're a millionaire guy on the internet?”
Then he continued his words in a cold tone, “Hei Loser, stop acting. I'm giving you two choices too. First, get down on your knees and apologize to me, then divorce Claire immediately. Second, I will call someone to beat you up and make you disabled, and let you see your beautiful and dear Claire with me. Decide now! I give you one minute to make up my mind!”
Charlie looked at the clock and said, “You still have one minute. You sure you don't want to save your company?”
“Losers! You have 30 seconds to decide! If you don't get down on your knees right away, you'll regret it forever!” wendell.
“Twenty seconds!”
“Ten seconds!“
“Five seconds!”
“Time out! Don't blame me for being mean, you asked!”
Wendell pulled Charlie's collar, and making a gesture to the guards around him, Wendell was ready to give the loser a hard blow.
Suddenly, his phone rang.
Wendell surprised. He looked at his phone and it was his father, and he quickly replied.
“Dad, I've been in the hotel, Where is Dad?”
On the phone, Wendell's father was heard growling. “What are you doing now? Who else are you insulting? Now all the shareholders are selling our shares quickly, and the value of our shares dropped dramatically by more than 80%!”
Then, he continued his tirade. “Bank suddenly came to the house to ask for debt payment! All of our partners have abruptly suspended their projects and delayed their payments! Our revenue chain has broken! We will be declared bankrupt and will be liquidated!”
Wendell looked pale as she listened to her father's voice on the phone. Cold sweat was pouring down his forehead.
“We're destroyed! Absolutely ruined!”
Just now Wendell opened her mouth, wanting to ask her something when she heard the siren followed by the door being forcefully opened, and the police officer asked her father to the police station for the sake of investigation.
Suddenly, his legs went limp and knelt in front of Charlie. His phone fell and broke apart.
The night wind blew gently, his body felt cold as ice.
Vibrating fearfully, Wendell asked Charlie in a desperate voice, “Who exactly are you? You did it, didn't you?”
The people around them were shocked, after receiving a call, Wendell Jones suddenly knelt down in front of the Wilson family's son-in-law. What the hell is going on?
Charlie stared at him, then he leaned over and whispered, “I've given you two options, but you didn't choose wisely.”
“I'm sorry, I'm really sorry. Forgive me, please forgive me! Claire and I had no relationship, I never touched her. The contract with Emgrand's company, it wasn't me who helped him! Everything I said was a lie! I fabricated! Please, please, I beg of you! Forgive me and my family!”
Wendell stuck her head to the floor and apologized deeply. He had never expected that this lowly son-in-law of the Wilson family had such great power and influence! With just a short phone call, he can bankrupt his family!
When Wendell lifted her head and looked at Charlie, she saw a face that was emotionless and flat, more sinister than the devil!
Someone who can take down his family! He can't make trouble with her!
Charlie shook his head and said, “You should be grateful, at least I let you live! Otherwise, your entire family will die this time!”
Wendell's face turned pale, and her body trembled violently.
Charlie continued his words. “Originally you know, right, I'm the millionaire guy in that video. If you don't want to die, don't tell anyone else my identity or I don't promise your father can still live until tomorrow! Hold onto my words!”
Then he patted Wendell on the face, stood up and walked into the hall, ignoring Wendell.
And Wendel, he's kneeling on the floor, totally riveted. He did not dare to fight back in the slightest to humiliate Charlie.
He saw Charlie walking into the hall, and he quickly crawled into the hall.
He looked around in panic, until he saw Claire, then he ran straight towards her, kneeling in front of her and wailing. “Claire, I'm sorry, I shouldn't have spread any untrue news about you. I have nothing to do with Emgrand company project, please, forgive me!”
Claire stepped back because of Wendelll's sudden attitude. Charlie swiftly stepped back and gave a warm embrace.
Claire looked back, and the one who hugged her was Charlie.
Charlie immediately saw her as soon as he walked into the hall, Claire was dressed so beautifully and shone like a bright shining star in the crowd. She looks charming and very beautiful.
Seeing Wendell running towards Claire, he immediately hugged her with his hands to protect Claire from falling and looked despicablely at Wendell.
Wendell immediately crawled away, she was afraid of making Charlie angry again.
Claire frowned in confusion, “Why him..”.
Charlie whispered as he hugged her, “Maybe there's something wrong with her, don't mind her.”
Although they are a married couple, they have never had a husband and wife relationship. Claire blushed in embarrassment until her ears turned red, as she felt the warmth of Charlie's body as she hugged him.
Nervously, Claire released herself from Charlie's embrace, and said, “Hmm, Mr. Wade, from Emgrand's company, she should have arrived here already, I'll look for her.”.
