CHAPTER 34
Charlie stared coldly and muttered, “I have nothing to do with you, but you have always mocked and insulted me constantly, and now you want to ask for help? Don't dream!”
Kevin fell down and lamented, "Charlie, I'm really sorry, I beg you help me..”.
Seeing Charlie's annoyed expression, Albert shouted to his men, “Dolent fuck, what are you waiting for again? Get him now!”
The guards were surprised. Then, they immediately pulled Kevin's neck and hair, started beating Kevin!
Blood soon comes out of Kevin's mouth and a few of his teeth are broken, but Albert's bodyguard does not show it will stop hitting. Every slap directed at Kevin's face was so fast and tight!
Albert turned to Charlie and said with a smile, “Master Wade, are you happy with our work?”
Charlie nodded casually, “Very good. Okay, that's it, I'm leaving now.”
Albert handed his business card to Charlie respectfully and said, “Master Wade, this is my phone number. Please contact me, if there is any business to be completed, I will always be ready.”
Charlie nodded slowly and kept the business card in his pocket. After that, he turned to Elaine and said, “Bu, it's about to be night, let's go home!”
Although Elaine's face was still flushed from the slap earlier, but she smiled happily as she glanced at the luggage and thought of the extra 700 thousand dollars she had received!
Charlie picked up the suitcase and as he was leaving with Elaine the elderly gathered in front of Charlie and said in a serious tone, “Hai, Charlie, it's my fault for insulting you. I didn't know that you were so powerful, you really are a brilliant and promising young man!”
“Really! Charlie, look at you, so smart and handsomeyou're the idol of today's youth. My daughter-in-law is nothing, when compared to you.”
“Hemm, can I ask for your help to negotiate with Mr Jordan to return our money, please? That is our hard earned money!”
Charlie frowned in annoyance and said coldly, “Why should I help you? You were all so arrogant and haughty earlier. If you can't get your money today, then ask your daughter-in-law for help!”
Then he turned around while sighing and left.
The elderly let out a sad sigh, and felt regret for their rude remarks to Charlie. They regretted ridiculing and insulting Charlie. Good.the only chance they have of getting that money back has been.
Because of that thought, some people slapped their own faces twice, some were crouching on the floor
confusion, while others
rolling around wailing hysterically. The money was their treasure and now it was gone!
But that's all they can do. They could only blame their presumptuous mouths, and did not have a daughter-in-law like Charlie.
On the way home, Elaine smiled happily and asked Charlie, “Charlie, how do you know Don Albert? Why is he so polite to you?”
Charlie replied in a relaxed tone, “No, I don't know him. Who am I, know him? I just called his friend who has great power to make Axel return the money.”
Elaine was a little disappointed when she heard that. He thought Charlie had an amazing influence that he was unaware of, but in the end, he asked for the help of others.
The disappointment made the enthusiasm that flared in his heart go out.
Fortunately, he got back his money with an additional 700 thousand dollars. This incident makes Elaine's prejudice against Charlie improve.
He said, “Charlie, I hope you can keep the events of today a secret and not tell anyone. I'm old, but I have my pride. Okay?”
“Good, Mom, I understand.” Charlie smiled and agreed.
