Charlie slowly stood up as everyone gaped in disbelief.
Quickly, all the eyes of the audience at the banquet were fixed on him.
“Charlie, what are you doing! Quickly sit!” Elaine screams in horror.
Does he not know where he is at the moment! Not a single big Boss dared to stand at a time like this, but what was the purpose of this loser seeking attention!
Gerald and Kevin exchanged glances and whispers, “Sial, is he really the Director of Emgrand Group?”
Shortly after, they shook their heads.
“No way, if he really is a Director, how could he be scolded by his mother-in-law?”
“Losers, what are you doing? Sit!” Harold shouted in an annoyed tone on the stage.
Charlie glared at Harold coldly. Then, he walked towards Doris and whispered in her ear, ignoring everyone's confused gaze.
Doris nodded slowly while listening.
That scene made everyone's hearts beat fast!
Deputy Director of Emgrand Group! The symbol of beauty in Aurous Hill! How could Charlie, the loser of the Wilson family, know him? In fact, from the looks of it, they seemed to be quite close.
After speaking, ignoring the suspicious gazes of the people, Charlie walked outside the room to look for Claire.

Meanwhile, on stage, Doris looked at Mrs Wilson with a cold face.
“Director asked me to convey this to you..”.

A loud shout echoed within the room. No one thought that Doris would say that.
Everyone felt astonished and confused by this sudden change.
Mrs Wilson ran towards Doris and said, “Nona Young, what do you mean? Why is this decision sudden? Did we make a mistake?”
He had invited all of the most esteemed Bosses to come at this banquet event, hoping it would boost their reputation in Aurous Hill.
If the announcement of the project stop was announced at this place, then the Wilson family would be humiliated and trampled on by everyone!
Doris spoke firmly, “Actually, this cooperation happened because our Director recognized Miss Claire's ability. Somehow, you took the decision yourself to appoint Harold as the person in charge of the project! Sorry, we can't accept such ridiculous rules!”
After that, Doris put down the microphone and left the room.
Mrs Wilson curled up on the stage, and her face was as pale as paper.
He never expected that his cunning would waste such a rare opportunity just like that!
If he knew it would end this way, he wouldn't trade Claire's position for Harold as Director, even if someone pointed a weapon at him!
Harold also felt defeated. What the hell's going on? It seemed like Doris was blocking him, but she could not remember if she had ever offended Doris!
Harold approached his grandmother and spoke in despair, “Grandmother, the Director's appointment has been announced, Grandma has no regrets with that decision right, right?”
Mrs Wilson tried to stand up. He raised his hand and slapped Harold while saying very angrily, “Fucking base! How can you still think about that position right now! Quick, go with me and find Claire right now!”
