Thinking Charlie was just kidding, Claire didn't take it seriously. He walked to the side and dialed Doris's phone number.
Before long, his phone was answered.

“He could win the contract because of the help of Wendell from the Jones family. I heard Wendell went to his house last night and the Emgrand Group signed that contract today. That's a weird coincidence, isn't it? From what I know, Claire must have spent the night with Wendell Jones!”
Mrs Wilson's face was filled with anger. “Is that true?”
Harold spoke confidently, “Of course it's true! Wendell went to see Claire last night. Grandma must be sure, if you see it.”
Then she continued, “Grandmother, Claire is a married woman. If that forbidden relationship were to come to light, people would find out how we won the contract with Emgrand, what would they say about the Wilson family? What will they say about Grandma?”
Mrs Wilson frowned, believing Harold's lies.
She knows that Wendell put her heart on Claire.
