CHAPTER 39
Loreen was stunned in confusion and astonishment.
Loreen did not expect that Harold had a pretty good network of friends in Aurous Hill. Harold was reliable compared to Charlie. Loreen thought it would be more convenient if she could get close to Harold every day.
The man in black drove them politely to the door of the Diamond Suite room. The man took the bill paper, and handed it directly to Charlie, and said softly, “Master, please sign here.”
The Diamond Suite was actually specially reserved for Charlie and his signature was needed for confirmation.
Charlie smiled and picked up the pen and paper, but before he signed, Harold shouted loudly.
“Damn it! Put pen!”
Harold stepped forward with an annoyed face. He took out a pen and paper from Charlie's hand, he quickly signed it with his name, and shouted to Charlie, “Basically you shameless rat! You don't know who ordered this room? Who do you think you can sign here!”
The man in black was surprised by Harold's attitude, having already ambushed. The man turned to Charlie and looked at the question, whether Charlie needed help to teach this bastard a lesson.
Charlie just shook his head slowly. “No problem, let it go if he really wants to sign it.”
Charlie doesn't want to make the atmosphere uncomfortable in front of Loreen — anyway, Loreen is his wife's good friend.
Then, they entered the room and sat down.
Harold let Loreen sit in the lead position, while Charlie sat alone in the corner. Only Loreen kept talking to Charlie all day.
Shortly after, one by one a lavish serving of wine was served by the waiter.
All dishes use quality and luxurious ingredients. In fact, the best quality abalone shells and Australian lobsters are served as a side dish.
The quality wine served is century-old at a price of 100,000 dollars per bottle.
Coming from a wealthy family, Loreen was surprised by this sumptuous dish.
Gerald said in an envious tone, "Harold, how much does this meal cost?”
Harold said cocky, “300,000 dollars.”
Gerald's surprised. “You sure? It seems like the price range is more than that, even one bottle of wine costs more than that.”
Harold's outer appearance was smiling casually, but inside his heart was pounding. He suddenly felt that something was wrong. As he recalled how the black-clothed man outside served him, he wondered if Don Albert gave him special services.
Loreen's beautiful eyes flickered in admiration. He looked at Harold and said, "Thank you, Harold!”
Harold's thoughts were wiped out by Loreen's warm words for him. Harold smiled widely and said, "Everyone, with pleasure.”
Then, he turned to Charlie and said with a mocking smile, "Charlie, I bet you haven't eaten a meal like this in your entire life, right?”
Charlie grinned at the sarcasm. “Who gave you confidence so you are so arrogant?”
Harold roared in disdain, “You should be honored to eat with me and your big mouth is still like that! Damn it, dare it, if you've eaten food like this before, you can make my head a ball and kick it!”
Charlie just smiled. When he was a child, his life was so extraordinary that it was hard for ordinary people to imagine. In the Wade family, food like this was just the food of the servants.
Seeing Charlie's arrogance, Wendy snorted in annoyance. “Charlie, what attitude is it, you loser! Believe it or not, I'm gonna kick you out of this room right now! We feed you and this is your reward? Fucking loser!” ?
However, right at that moment, the door of the room was kicked violently and a fierce voice echoed throughout the room. "Where are you guys from, you fool? Who let you into this room!”
Suddenly, a fat man was standing at the door. He was wearing an Armani suit with a large gold necklace around his neck and there was a centipede-like scar on his face from his eyes to his chin.
The man held the bill in one hand and the other hand held a club, his face ferocious like a lion.
Shortly after, dozens of scarred and tattooed men entered the room and lined up behind him, besieging the table.
Everyone who was there was really shocked by this incident. What the hell's going on?
The leader was nicknamed 'Bear', Don Albert's right-hand man. He had long worked for Don Albert and his reputation was well known in Aurous Hill.
Don Albert tells him, that today the Diamond Suite is reserved exclusively for someone honorable — Mr. Wade, and make sure he has made good preparations for Mr. Wade.
However, when he checks on the guest in the room, he learns that someone named Harold Wilson signed the bill in the Diamond Suite. He was very angry and worried when he found out.
