CHAPTER 3
The next morning, after preparing breakfast, Charlie rides his scooter to the Emgrand Group office
His motor scooter is parked in the Emgrand parking lot. After he locked up his motor scooter, a black Bantley car slowly parked across from where he parked.
He accidentally saw a young couple getting out of the car.
His men wear branded suits, look handsome and smart. Meanwhile, his female partner is flamboyant in style. Although it looks a bit flashy, but can be said to be beautiful.
The young woman is Wendy Wilson, Claire's cousin, and her fiance Gerald White.
Charlie didn't know why they were here, but he knew the best way to avoid trouble was to stay away from them.
Wendy looked at Charlie from the corner of her eye. He shouted loudly, “Hey, Charlie!”
Wendy called out her name kindly, but Charlie felt goosebumps all over her back.
Simply out of politeness, he just stood in his place while waiting for them to approach him. He smiled and said, “Wendy, hi, why are you here?”
Wendy laughed, “Oh, Gerald is here to meet with Doris Young, Deputy Director of Emgrand Group! I came here to accompany him.”
Then he turned to look at Gerald affectionately and said, “The White family has many projects with Emgrand Group. The project not only helps the White family but also the Wilson family in the future.”
Charlie had no idea that the White family was one of the business partners of the Emgrand Group. After all, he had just taken over the company and he did not have much time to know in detail.
He did not show a strange expression. Instead, he said politely and briefly, “Master White is very talented and amazing, you two are indeed a matching couple!”
Gerald glanced in disdain at Charlie, while feeling angry.
This loser who yesterday was scolded all out by Mrs Wilson in front of everyone, how could today she smile like a clown as if nothing had happened?
Why would Claire, a charming and extraordinary woman, marry a loser like this?
If this loser didn't exist, he would definitely chase Claire desperately! Who would want to be engaged to Wendy, just an ordinary woman when compared in all aspects?
Gerald took a heavy breath and asked in an arrogant tone, “Why are you here?”
Charlie replied casually, “I'm here to apply for a job.”
“Apply work?” Gerald sneered in disdain. “You? A loser who can't do anything wants to apply for a job at Emgrand? You kidding?”
Charlie frowned. “What is your business?”
The reason why Wendy called Charlie, her main purpose was to humiliate him. Now that Gerald had started it, he immediately scoffed, “Why? Gerald's right ‘kan, don't you think?”
“In terms of education, do you have a college degree?”
“In terms of abilities and skills, do you have any achievements or works that you can show them?”
“Trust me, they won't heed a loser like you, even if you come to apply for a job as a security guard. Know yourself, you better go to the street to look for trash, maybe you can get at least two to three thousand every month!”
Gerald laughed cynically. “You are indeed trash, but, after all we are brothers. I'll support you. Coincidentally I know well with Deputy Director of Emgrand Group, why don't I say something nice about you and we'll see if he can give you a toilet cleaner job?”
Charlie pursed his lips smiling coldly and said, “The job I am applying for is none of your business, you should just take care of your business. Group Emgrand is a big company, I'm sure they won't want to cooperate with trash like you.”
Gerald's face was filled with anger. “Who do you call trash?”
Charlie answered in disgust, “You, trash!”
Then, he turned around and walked towards the building, unconcerned by Gerald's angry shout.
“Damn it! Just stop! Stop right there, don't you hear?”
Soon, Gerald stepped up quickly and caught up with Charlie in the elevator room.
He wanted to teach Charlie a lesson, at least two slaps on his face so he could know the consequences if it offended him, but now they were already inside the Emgrand Group building. He was worried that his rude attitude would tarnish his reputation and anger his business partners, so there was no choice but to undo his intentions.
He was bluffing his teeth and gave a warning, “I forgot about you today, but next time you won't be lucky!”
Charlie snorted and walked towards the elevator. Before the door closed, he said, “Gerald White, you think you are so great? Trust me, you will pay for your arrogant and arrogant attitude!”
“Your base...”
Gerald's face became very ugly and red in color, He wanted to catch up to the elevator but Wendy pulled his hand and said, “Gerald, don't ride the same elevator as the loser, maybe we will feel short of breath because of the smell.”
He nodded, realizing it was not worth his hand touching Charlie. Hence, he snorted coldly. “Huh, you were lucky today. I'll teach you a lesson next time!”

Inside the elevator, Charlie headed straight to the top floor of the Director's office.
Stephen had arranged everything in Emgrand for himself. The person in charge of organizing everything is a woman named Doris Young.
Doris Young gained a reputation as a famous female entrepreneur in Aurous Hill. He is not only attractive, but also very reliable. He had been promoted since young to become the Deputy Director of Emgrand. He is also one of the factors behind the company's current success.
Now that the Emgrand Group has been acquired by the Wade family, the former Director has left and Doris remains there to help the new Director.
Doris was quite surprised when she first saw Charlie. He had not expected to see someone as young and attractive as that when he heard about Charlie from Stephen!
He quickly calmed himself down and greeted him with respect. “Welcome, Mr. Wade. Please follow me to your room.”
