CHAPTER 35

After solving Elaine's problem, Elaine and Charlie go their separate ways. Elaine hugs her suitcase happily like a child clutching her lollipop, Elaine goes to the bank to deposit her money while Charlie returns home.

Upon entering the house, Charlie sees Claire's shoes in the hallway, knowing that Claire has gone home and is headed straight for the room.

After entering the room, he saw his wife had just finished calling, her face filled with surprise and excitement.

Charlie asked curiously, “Darling, who called?”

Claire screamed happily, “He's my best friend, Loreen! You remember him?”

“Iya, I remember.” Charlie nodded and continued, “He used to go to school in Aurous Hill and was very close to you. If I don't remember wrongly, she's the daughter of a rich family, the Thomas family of Eastcliff, right?”

“True!” Claire said, “The Loreen family is quite distinguished at Eastcliff.”

Charlie smiled and said, “Then, what happened? He's coming to Aurous Hill?”

“Not only visit, but he will work here!”

Charlie frowned, confused. “Loreen, daughter of a prominent family in Eatscliff. Why doesn't he work in a family company but instead works here?”

Claire shrugged her shoulders. “I don't know either. He said he would start working at Emgrand Group. Why did he come all the way to Emgrand, I don't know either."

Charlie nodded but something came to his mind. “Although the Thomas family was not on par with the Wade family, they had a strong foundation in Eastcliff. Loreen had no reason to leave her family business and came to Aurous Hill to work with Emgrand.'

Shangri-La, ask him to order one table.

On second thought, Shangri-La was a surprise for her beloved wife, so it was better that she chose another place to host Loreen.

Therefore, he wanted to send a message to the person who next appeared in his head—Albert.

“I want to entertain my friend dinner. Please arrange in luxury hotel, besides Shangri-La.”

Soon after, he received an answer from Albert. “Mr Wade, I have a restaurant called Heaven Springs, is one of the most exclusive restaurants in Aurous Hill which is equivalent to Shangri-La. I'll reserve the best spot in the Diamond Room for tomorrow and also the best food for you and your guests. I'm honored for your presence in my restaurant."

Charlie replied briefly, “oke".

The next day, Claire spends her day at the Emgrand Group headquarters, handling and organizing work related to their project and cooperation.

Charlie contacts Doris and asks about Loreen's job acceptance.

Doris was shocked that Charlie knew that. He informs Charlie that Loreen has applied as the Director of administration, which is an intermediate position in management. After examining her employment history, they found that Loreen was the best candidate for the job. So, they decided to accept Loreen and her first day of work stayed a few more days.
