PUREST
Ahhhh... Finally landed safely on my own bed.
It is true, as good as its country people, better its own country. A lot to "no" match me there. Although in any way there is superior, but I still love my country.
The most goosebumps and make longs for the homeland, when our national anthem is there. Instantly it also felt like going home to mother earth.
Less than a week I was there making me also miss eating food here.
I miss the meatballs whose bowls are just rinsed with sebasin water, I miss the ice cubes that use water directly from the tap, I miss the fritters whose oil is mixed with the plastic.
Anyway a week there I even miss random things in my own country.
Even on the first and second day, I was carefree. It doesn't match the weather and the air there. It ends with "Kampung" by Sharma. Because I saw my pain.
******
I went to school alone today. Without picking up Sharma first.
He said he was still "Jet lag" so he couldn't ride a bike with me.
It's a sompret, real style is a kid. Why don't I camp when I'm there, but he's drunk his trip longer.
As soon as I walked into class I saw Elsi and Sharma had been chatting. Looks sure Sharma again excited about her self while there.
"Empuuuurrrr" said Elsi welcoming me while hugging spoiled. I hugged her too. Honestly, I miss and miss the same one who has been living alone for days.
"Gue misses you both..." He also held his hand to Sharma. The three of us hugged. Don't be weird, our classmates are used to seeing us like this.
"Well, how was it during my stay? Don't don't eat for a week because no one's going to eat." My ejek.
He just smiled wryly and did not comment on what. Honestly, during there we rarely contact, because our schedule there is very full. So often the difference with his time Elsi.
"By a momentar at my house. I'm the same with Empur buyin lo macem macem its staple. After a while we gather at my house the tree!" Sharma.
"Thank you yaa..." He hugged us once more. I don't know why I feel something is strange. Is he sick? Looks more lethargic.
"What happened while we were there?" I asked her to fish. He shakes sure.
"Nothing. Aja aman. The kids are safe too."
"Picket schedule?" Ask me again.
"Dih Empur, don't be complicated. New also nyampe already complicated the same unimportant business." Omel Sharma to me.
"Gak empurr's. Calm down, the picket is safe. I'm watching it." Elsi.
I see things around. Not too dirty either. But not as clean as when I was there.
Somehow during the lesson hours I saw something strange about Elsi. But it seems Sharma is unaware of it.
I was about to ask her if everything was okay, but I paused. My heart still doubts. But he looks like a sick man. Even I can judge her face a little pale.
I ignored my thoughts, I'm sure if there really is something going on, Elsi will definitely tell us both. As usual. He never kept anything secret with us.
I see that Sharma is relaxed, which means that it's just my feeling.
But...
All were denied that afternoon.
At our break time.
I saw Sharma surprised instead of playing while keeping her mouth shut.
In front of me. Elsi stands in the middle of Nanda and her friend's friend. Faced with him, and spilled all the mineral water into Nanda's head when we came to the canteen.
Not enough to get there, he took another drink on the table and poured it into Nanda's face and slammed his glass on the floor.
Nanda was as shocked as we were, even 1 canteen was as shocked as us. The atmosphere that was crowded arrived silent for a moment.
When Nanda tried to open her mouth to talk that I did not know what it was, Elsi suddenly slapped her hard.
"Don't.... Never again, Elo is close to me. Call my name, you son of a bitch."
At least that's all I could hear when Elsi slapped her face.
Elsi passed by just like that, leaving 1 canteen shocked by what she was doing.
Sharma was still silently staring. Realizing Elsi left I immediately ran after her.
"El!" I pulled his hand when I caught up with him. He brushed my hand rough. I'm appalled. Not like the Elsi I know.
"El... Can you tell me what this is?" I tried to talk again.
"Gue wants to be alone first." He said it was cold and left me.
Sharma comes in with nothing and chases after Elsi. I pulled his hand to stop him.
"Don't first. Let it go."
Sharma stopped and looked at me anxiously. I was worried and confused about what I saw.
A new feeling this morning she welcomed me while hugging me. But I had guessed that there was something wrong with Elsi. Because he's quieter today. My suspicions from earlier were correct.
"He why Empurrrr? I was shocked. I've never seen Elsi that hard. That anger..." Sharma's tears flowed from her cheeks. She must have been Shock her best friend could suddenly change.
I took her and led her back to class. Didn't answer Sharma's question. I was also confused about what had happened.
******
Throughout the lesson hours Elsi just kept quiet while looking down. We are also in a quiet class, not as usual.
It seemed like the rumor Elsi slapped Nanda had already spread to 1 school. What else happened in the cafeteria, that almost everyone could see.
So far no one has dared to rebuke Elsi. Even the two of us. Sharma who was sitting next to him was completely wrong.
I'm the one who always remembers her not to say anything just yet. Until everything is calm.
Purr, how? We keep bargaining at my house not to go home to school?
Sharma sent me a WA message. Indeed, we had arranged after school we would gather at Sharma's house. All of you gave Elsi by what we brought.
But we got confused because of what happened this afternoon. You want to ask still awkward. Elsi did not say a word after entering the class.
The school bell rings. Sharma and I are the same. Silence in confusion.
But we did not reach anything until finally 1 class had gone away the three of us.
Elsi just looked down from now on. Sharma and I looked at each other without speaking. Without doing anything.
Suddenly Elsi raised her head and wiped her tears. He looked like he was crying earlier.
"Let's go to Sharma's house..." Said lirih.
Me and Sharma nodded and immediately packed our goods. And still the same, without talking anything.
