Allow Me to Be Happy

Allow Me to Be Happy
Chapter 48

After breakfast Reza paid off to check his work on the balcony of the house. The house directly facing the lake makes Reza feel comfortable to work outside, and of course the atmosphere is not too noisy.

The goddess came with a cup of coffee for Reza.

“Coffee, Brother,” said Dewi after putting it on the table.

“Thanks, babe.”

The goddess who was still unfamiliar with the affectionate call of Reza could only lower her head. Reza smiled who saw the Goddess's bashful behavior. The goddess who was about to return to the house stopped because she saw Briggita who was going to pass her house.

“Hai Bri,” greet Goddess.

Briggita who saw Dewi bediri in front of her house immediately ran over to the woman.

“Yesterday home why not wait for me first?” ask Briggita.

“If waiting for you with Julian will definitely be long. You guys even go away leaving me.”

“Sorry about that.”

“You want to Julian's house?”

“Iya I'll be there. Julian and Erkan had already returned to Zurich last night.”

“Oh alright. Give my regards to aunty Maria and Grandma. I can't come, there is the boss here,” said Dewi while pointing at Reza who was focusing on staring at the laptop in front of him.

“Halo Husband Goddess,” greet Briggita who just get a nod of the head from Reza with her flat mode.

“That's your husband?” briggita asked a little whisper.

The goddess nodded small. “Why indeed?”

“Like robot. No expression,” said Briggita who immediately giggled to imagine Dewi kissing a robot.

“Sst is still my husband.”

“Still behind her husband,” goda Briggita.

Reza who was not far from where Dewi and Briggita spoke could only hear a little, not to mention Reza who was not very fluent in German.

(Here the conversation Dewi with Briggita and Julian was using German yes.)

Reza's attention turned to his phone which he located not far from his laptop. He saw the name of Ratna's mother on the screen of his phone. Not waiting long Reza immediately shifted the green button to the right.

“Halo, Assalammualaikum, Bu.”

The goddess who was still chatting with Briggita was shocked because of the voice of Reza who suddenly shouted.

“What? Okay, Mom, Reza will be home soon.”

“What's up, Brother?” asked the Goddess who saw the panicked face of her husband.

“Ara, Wi. Ara accident. Last time the mother called,” Reza said in a trembling voice.

“Astaghfirullah.” The surprised goddess shut her mouth with one hand.

Reza immediately cleaned up the laptop and the files on the table were helped by Dewi.

“I'll go straight home to Indonesia.”

“I'm coming,” replied Dewi quickly.

“You're serious?” ask Reza who does not believe the Goddess will come home with him.

“Of course. My son is in pain and I'm not next to him? What kind of mother am I,” replied the Goddess with her reddened eyes holding back tears.

“Thanks yes, Wi,” says Reza.

“Goddess, what happened?” asked Briggita who seemed to be forgotten by the presence of Dewi and Reza.

“Oh my God, Gute Besserung for Ihr Kind (Oh my God, may your son recover soon).”

“Danke schon (thank you very much), Bri.”

The goddess then followed Reza who had first entered the house. Dewi called Bik Asih to get ready as they were going home with this afternoon. The goddess then entered her private room, stuffing her clothes into her kopee bag. Not much he brought because he planned to bring both children he continued to vacation here all alone and handed the house keys to Uncle Alex.

Once everything is ready, Reza, Dewi and Bik Asih immediately leave for Zurich using a taxi that has been ordered by Reza. Arriving at the airport at 1 pm, they immediately check in due to their departure at 16:40 and are expected to arrive in Jakarta at 15:25 the next day.

During the journey starting from home until now in the plane, the Goddess always cried. He who also has not received any news about the condition of Ara is currently making himself angry. He continued to pray for the good of the child.

Reza did not stop calming his wife. The sense of regret deepened to see the Goddess who was so worried about Ara. Not looking like a connecting mother, Dewi even looks like a biological mother who is so worried about her child. Even in his anxiety and crying, Dewi still had time to help Bik Asih who had difficulty several times because this was the first time for Bik Asih to sit in business class.

Arriving in Jakarta, they were picked up by a driver sent by Mami Lisa. Although tired, they went straight to the hospital where Ara was treated which was also his workplace first. Only Reza and Dewi who came down because Bik Asih asked directly to go home Mami Lisa.

Upon arrival at the hospital, Reza and Dewi immediately headed to Ara's nursery. There are already Ratna's mother, Mami Lisa, Papi Arya, Bambang's father, Dirga and also Leo who does handle Ara. Ara was currently just asleep because since waking up after the operation she had always asked for the whereabouts of her father and mother.

The goddess who had seen firsthand the state of Ara immediately approached Leo to ask Ara's condition.

“When I came to IGD I saw his chest was bruised, and when I tried to press Ara was in pain. Finally I asked for a CT scan and the result was some ribs that were broken and injured blood vessels in his chest, ” explained Leo.

The goddess who heard Leo's explanation immediately cried and Reza immediately hugged her.

“Lo no need to worry, Wi. Although there was a serious bleeding but thankfully Ara has passed the critical period. Now you have to go with him. Poor he woke up earlier immediately cry nangis nyariin both of you, so I was forced to give sleeping pills,” continued Leo.

The goddess who was feeling quite calm let go of her hug on Reza and then looked at Leo.

“Thanks, Yo,” says Dewi.

“Ngga need to thank you. I also apologize for ngelarang Tania to ngabarin lo because we do not want you so more worried and not calm on the road, yes although you actually must be worried also kan.”

“He cried continuously during his time on the plane,” said Reza who confirmed Leo's talk.

“This is actually whose child, why do I doang who is worried, his own father relaxed aja,” said Dewi who did not accept speaking by Reza.

“I'm not worried, which. If I am nervous also like you, the situation is getting riweh,” replied Reza.

“Cie already ayang ni,” goda Dirga.

The goddess who heard Dirga's words immediately stared intently like an arrow ready to throw.

“I was silent,” said Dirga who was afraid and immediately hid behind the body of Bambang's father.

“I'm sorry, Wi. I say yes first Om, Aunt.” Leo walked out of Ara's room.

“You two better rest first. Must be tired because of the long journey,” said Papi Arya.

“Dewi wants to be here, Pi,” replied Dewi.

“Om back with Aunt. Mom and Dad just went home. Let Reza and the Goddess guard Ara here. We can take turns to rest,” said Reza. He will accompany his daughter while in the hospital.

After the others came home, Reza approached the Goddess who was sitting beside Ara's bed.

“You sleep first, Wi. Her Ara's mumpung is also sleeping. Must be tired, right.”

“Iya, Dewi sleeps here only, let Kak Reza sleep in bed.”

“You were there. I can sleep on the couch later. Pity your body to be taken care of.”

“Yasudah.”

The goddess then walked towards the bed reserved for the patient's waiter. There was still time for him to sleep before the Maghrib prayer. It didn't take long for the Goddess to finally fall asleep as well.

Reza who saw the Goddess had slept also laid her body beside the Goddess. On the stroke of the tired face of the wife who was worried about her little daughter, then Reza kissed the Goddess' forehead.

“Thanks, babe.” Reza sleeps while hugging the Goddess' body.
