Allow Me to Be Happy

Allow Me to Be Happy
Chapter 38

Reza arrived home just as the azan maghrib was reverberating. Because his meeting with Siska at the office made his mood become ugly so decided to go home quickly. On the way, he bought pizza for his two children. When he reached the front of the pizza shop, Reza briefly stared at the shophouse in front of him. It was not the pizza shop that he noticed, but the shop that was next to him. It was Dewi's cake shop to buy her favorite brownies. Reza recalled, if Dewi buys brownies from the store it must always be a lot, because 3 boxes only for himself. Reza smiled remembering that.

The man came down and first stepped into the cake shop. He bought 2 boxes of his wife's favorite brownies. Then he ordered his two children's favorite pizza.

“Assalammualaikum,” said Reza when entering his house.

“Waalaikumcalam,” replied Ara who was still playing in front of the tv with her grandmother.

“Papaaa.” Ara ran to hug her papa.

“Oooh princess papa. Kangen not the same papa?”

“Kangen. Papa tumben quickly home?”

“Because papa kangen same Ara so papa quickly go home. Oh yes this look papa bring what.”

“Waaah pizza,” says Ara jubilation.

“Eat it later yes. We prayed maghrib first together. Which brother?”

“Abang in the room. Ayok Pa we pray.”

“Bu, Reza to the room first yes,” saying goodbye to Ratna's mother.

Ratna's mother nodded and smiled at the behavior of her granddaughter. Then he went into his room to pray Maghrib.

In his room, Reza performed Maghrib worship along with his two children. After the prayer Reza saw his two children praying very fervently. Reza smiled because of the childhood religious upbringing applied by Rena and Dewi, his son and daughter did not forget his duty as a Muslim.

“Ara was prayer what?” ask Reza.

“Ala was praying that Mama would not be sick again in God's family, ask Ala to ask God to meet Mama with Mother's Grandpa, so Mama and Dedek did not feel sad because they were alone there, too,” plain Ara.

“What prayer brother?” reza asked while looking at her son.

“Same. Brother prayer that Mama be given a good home, keep asking God to be with Mama to take care of Mother's Dedeknya so that Mother quickly returns home and no longer sad,” replied Brother.

Reza smiled and stroked the tops of the heads of his beloved sons and daughters. He did not expect them to really pray for his mother and ask her to take care of her sister who had to go before she was born.

“When did you get home Pa? Why so long?” ask Andra.

“Iya Pa's. Mother really long gone?” Ara asked her whereabouts.

“Papa also did not know. Emm you guys have tried to ask the same oma opa not when Mother came home?” Reza wants to try to help his two children to extract information about the existence of the Goddess from Mami Lisa and Papi Arya.

“Abang asked oma. Said ifa justin aja first mother went on vacation so that mother does not feel sad again if you remember her dedek,” replied Andra.

“Already if so we just aja mother vacation first yes. Later if you are not sad again, mother must go home kok,” said Reza calms her two children.

Reza looked at her two children's eyes which depicted a deep longing for the Goddess.

“If later mom does not want to come home here, we move just you guys want not?” ask Reza.

“Mau of the same origin mother,” replied Ara.

“Abang too. But there must be a basketball court yes Pa, so brother can continue basketball practice the same Mother,” pinta Andra.

“OK. Later we find a good house yes to stay with Mommy.”

Reza had thought about moving from this house if the Goddess had come home later. Not because you want to forget Rena, just want to make the Goddess comfortable. He wanted to start a new life with his wife Dewi and his children. The house has many memories of her and the children with Rena, and her children have the rights to this house. Reza would never sell it.

“Abang don't want to practice silat again? Let papa find his new coach,” bargain Reza so that his son can still practice silat.

“It's the same mom Pa. Same other coach not cool.”

“Begusnya brother keep training, so that if mother returns home Brother already can new moves. Can later you can see to the mother that Abang is still diligent in training even though the mother does not exist.”

“Oh Yes Pa. Brother wants to Pa practice silat again,” exclaimed Andra.

“OK, tomorrow papa find his new coach yes.”

Reza then went downstairs with Ara and Andra. At the dining table had sat Ratna's mother waiting for her grandchildren.

“Grandma, Ara wants to eat the pizza Papa bought earlier.”

“Yesapapa, let's sit here next to grandma.”

Ara then sat down next to her grandmother, while Andra sat down beside her father.

Ready for dinner, Reza said goodbye to continue her pending work earlier. He also asked Bik Tini to deliver a cup of coffee to his study. Not to forget Reza also brought a box of brownies that he bought earlier to his study.

Actually Reza does not really like cakes made from flour, butter, sugar, eggs and cocoa powder. But after he saw his second wife's subscription store, somehow Reza really wanted to eat it tonight.

“Where the hell is Wi? When will she get home?” lirih Reza's.

Reza sees a simple wedding photo with Dewi on her phone. In the photo it looks Reza is in the middle, on the right there is Rena while on the left there is Goddess. In the photo, only Rena smiled cheerfully, while Reza and Dewi only forced smiles. At that time Reza only underwent forced marriage because of Rena.

“Sorry because I haven't given your dream wedding party Wi. I promise when you come home I'll have our wedding as you want.”

If at the time of the first contract he could not accept his second marriage, this time he had accepted and was determined to maintain his marriage.

“I'm sorry Wi. I already love you Wi. Come back to me.”
