Allow Me to Be Happy

Allow Me to Be Happy
Chapter 1

That morning in one of the villages in Switzerland was seen a hijab woman sitting welcoming the sun while drinking her warm tea in front of the terrace of her simple house. The days he lived for approximately the last six months just sit near the lake and walk alone around the lake. The beauty of Brienz Lake made his heart calm down a little. Lake Brientz is a lake north of the Alps, in the canton of Bern, Switzerland.

Iseltweld Village. Who does not know about this village. One of the places that must be visited if visiting a country called Land of Milk and Honey, because the country has milk and honey whose quality is number one on the European continent.

Iseltwald is a village and municipality on the south shore of Lake Brienz in the Bernese Oberland region of Switzerland . Politically, the municipality is located in the administrative district of Interlaken-Oberhasli in the canton of Bern .

It was in this place that he harbored his purpose of self-medicating. He treats himself both physically and mentally. The events that had happened to him over the past year had completely drained his energy and emotions.

Goddess Anggraini, that's her name. Before she was a jolly girl. Wherever she was, this woman could always liven up the atmosphere. Her warm, cheerful, kind figure makes her loved by those closest to her. Until one incident made him a quiet figure.

In the early days of the fateful incident, the Goddess just sat down and lay staring blankly ahead in the hospital room. Food and drink were untouched. He also did not want to meet his family at that time. Only her best friends Leo, Chandra, and Tania take turns accompanying the Goddess in the room. The Goddess was like an undead.

Until he finally spoke up and wanted to leave his country for a while. The family agreed with the hope that after finishing vacation, the Goddess could return as usual. Originally the Goddess did not want to be accompanied during this vacation, but her adoptive parents did not allow it. And finally he was accompanied by one who worked at his home.

The Goddess realized that this was not her now. Silent and not wanting to do anything. He wanted to get up, get on with his life. But somehow it seemed like everything was very difficult for him to do. The feeling of remorse that he felt made the Goddess reluctant to rise.

The goddess usually cannot be silent. Dewi who works as a neurologist often fill the seminar. In addition, he also filled his day as a lecturer in the medical faculty at the former campus. If it is a holiday, he will fill his vacation by enjoying nature, such as mountain climbing, or off road with his friends.

Again, because of the loss that became one of the encouragement of his life that made the figure of the Goddess changed. Dewi recalled, when she had to lose both her parents due to a motorcycle accident while she was sitting on the high school bench, Dewi could rise to live her life. Dewi who is a smart child can finish her school with brilliant grades so that she can become an invited student of medical faculty at the number one university in Indonesia.

“Non breakfast is ready,” Bik Asih invoke disperse the reverie of the Goddess.

“Iya Bik,” replied Dewi.

Dewi with Bik Asih then entered the house and headed to the dining table. Fried rice and a cup of warm milk became his breakfast menu that morning.

“Non Dewi when the plan to go home, Non,” asked Bik Asih on the sidelines of his breakfast.

“Dewi does not know Bik. Wh why? Bik Asih wants to go home, right? If Bik Asih wants to go home, Dewi still wants to stay here first because,” said Dewi.

“Bibik can not ninggalin Non Dewi alone here. After all, ladies and gentlemen also nitipin Non Goddess same Bibik.”

“Goddess is not ready to go home Bik,”.

Bik Asih stared softly at the Goddess. Bik Asih understands the current condition of the Goddess. Bik Asih also knows the reason why he has not wanted to return home even though some time ago, Rena, the brother he loved had to go home and Dewi also did not come home to attend Rena's funeral which he had considered like his own biological brother. The brother she loved so much.

Through Rena Dewi can be acquainted with mami Lisa and papi Arya who then he was appointed as a child by this married couple. Those who do not have children since the beginning of marriage love the Goddess as much as their biological daughter.

Mami Lisa and Papi Arya are Oom and Aunt Reza's parents' surrogate husband. Although Rena comes from a simple family does not make them the prestige of Rena's daughter-in-law. They belong to the richest and most respected family in their country.

“Guten Morgen Dewi (good morning Goddess),” greet Briggita when passing the house of Dewi. Briggita is one of the villagers who is the same age as Dewi.

The goddess who was reading the book immediately raised her head and looked at Briggita. “Ja, garden Morgen auch. Sie wachen sehr schnell auf normalerweise. (Yes, good morning too. You wake up very quickly, not usually).”

“I'm going to Julian's house to deliver his breakfast. He just arrived from Zurich last night,”ujar Briggita.

“You want to accompany me to Julian Dewi's house?” bring Briggita.

“No Bri, you go alone to see Julian. He must miss you,” reject Goddess.

Briggita went in and met the Goddess on the porch of her house.

“Come Goddess. Since your arrival six months ago you've been out of the house very rarely. And you always refused my invitation. I don't know what problem you're facing right now that makes you a quiet person. I'm sure you weren't much more like me who couldn't keep quiet. All clear of your face Dew. Surely the behavior of our bars is not much different,” said Briggita Long.

Yes Dewipun seemed to say the words of Briggita. Seeing Briggita's current behavior reminded her of her former self. “Oh God when will I return to be the figure of the Goddess?” inner Goddess grimaced.

“Have you thought too much. Come cepetan.” Briggita immediately pulled the hand of the Goddess to follow her.

“Wait a minute Bri I say goodbye first with Bi Asih.”
