Abbysca Transmigration

Abbysca Transmigration
When a Man Walkes On His Own Destiny

A middle-aged man in his black suit entered the foundation courtyard with somewhat heavy strides, as if his shoulders were bearing no small weight. Although half of his age he used to serve a noble family, but he never forgot his 'origin' place'.

Once a month he will visit the place to visit the people who have contributed in his youth first. Many of them have died, considering that this year he has also stepped on the number sixty. But it did not dampen his desire to 'go home', although all he could remember from the place was not far from the pain.

A heavy sigh was heard when he realized that his arrival to the place was not because of one thing alone. His slightly reddened eyes narrowed when he found a man his age was sitting on the porch barefoot. There was a book in the man's hand, as well as a still steaming cup of black coffee. That person was clearly waiting for his arrival.

Day stopped a few steps away from Danu who seemed to be aware of her presence, evidently with the man who kept the thing in his hand and stood up slowly to greet Hari. "Good morning, Mr. Hari."

"Good morning, Mr. Danu." Hari welcomed Danu's hand out quite kindly, a faint smile visible on her lips.

"We can move to a more comfortable place if you mind.." Danu hung his words while glancing at the terrace that had been sitting on him.

Day shook her head slowly, "it doesn't matter, thank you." then took an empty spot next to Danu who had sat back down. "Your stomach still seems to be strong with coffee." His comments when he saw the coffee in the old glass left only half.

Mild rarity was heard from Danu who casually sipped coffee as if agreeing with what Hari said, "i haven't made you a drink for fear of not being to your taste."

"No need to bother. Thinking about what we're going to talk about already makes my stomach bloated." Hari half-joked, but her face clearly showed that she was being serious.

Danu quietly nodded, coming to think of the reason the two met. Previously, they did not have any need to intersect with each other. Danu knew Hari only as a subordinate of the young woman he helped and also helped her, while Hari knew her as a figure who helped and helped her master.

But who would have thought if it was all the beginning of the revelation of a story that became part of their life destiny.

"I never expected to meet the figure who summoned the last descendant of Nobles Lionel into the future." Day started a serious conversation between them.

Danu who was sitting next to him looked far away with her old eyes, "i'm just a traveller who happens to carry a mandate, nothing more."

"Did it all start when Miss Abbysca was in an accident?" tanya Hari with a curious look.

A heavy sigh rang out, "yes and no."

Day knits confused eyebrows.

"My intention at that time was to help him because the accident happened right in front of me. But who would have thought that it was the path of the Power that I would immediately complete my last task." Danu paused his sentence when he felt his throat suddenly dry, "releasing his grievous destiny and ushering in a pseudo destiny."

The old man glanced at his silent guest listening, as if reluctant to simply ask his confusion. "What do you know about that noble family?" Danu asked.

"I don't know as much as you. Only, their strength was almost comparable to the imperial family of his time. Military, magic, economy and politics, they all have that. And no one can stand in the way of what they want to do." Day's answer was exactly like reading the writing in a book, so clear and straightforward he spoke. But know, that he has memorized all that out of his head. "Including protecting yourself from the complicated fate that holds her back."

Danu nodded and smiled like a teacher who was proud of his student's answer. "The journey of man will not be separated from destiny, whether it is good or bad. According to their beliefs, bad destiny is when a person cannot get a reward for the good he did. But it may not be the time."

"Treason from loved ones, desperate to be considered unworthy. Isn't that also bad luck?" tanya Day's.

Danu smiled that wasn't really a smile, "and their last descendant experienced it all. Therefore, the lucky rope that his ancestors made, became his. Yeah, even though he had to travel a long way to get it." Compared to Danu who looks relaxed as if talking about lunch menu, Day in fact feel frustrated when hearing sentence by sentence coming out of Danu's mouth. Various expressions that had never come out before, now clearly visible on his old face.

"The last of these descendants is.." Hari hung up her sentence as she thought of the truth of what she was about to say, "the soul that fills Miss Abbysca this time."

"You know clearly about it." Praise Danu with a little pride.

Hari's forehead looked wrinkled, "but there's a lot I don't understand, sir."

Danu smiled understandably, "but you can understand the necklace with the red pendulum."

"It was the hereditary necklace of the Anggara family ancestors that would be given to each of their female descendants. It's been in Miss Abbysca's hands since childhood. Mr. Septhian's own mother gave it to him." Day spent almost his entire life serving the Anggara family. So, knowing the slightest thing about the people in it was not a difficult thing for him. "But according to what I know, it could be worn by Miss Abbysca if the original owner had already come to reconnect the path of destiny."

So do not be surprised, if Hari felt surprised when she saw her nona wearing a necklace with a small red pendulum. She was happy that the necklace was worn by the person she was supposed to be, yet she was also saddened to have to lose someone who meant enough to her. Whether it went away temporarily or for good, both of them sounded not good in his ears.

"It seems, you can also realize who the real figure of Miss Abbysca you've known for months." Chirps Danu.

Silent. There was a little bit of a gap between them. Talking about things that are full of impossibilities like this is enough to make a day of dizziness. Although Hari should be used to it because ever since she was a child she was always surrounded by magical things that are not able to be understood by human reason.

"Yes, you're right. And that's what I mean by lucky rope." Danu took back the old book she had ignored, then opened the page she wanted. After finding what he was looking for, the old man showed it to Hari who was looking at him full of curiosity. "Look! the pendulum contained an ancient spell that was quite powerful. The good and bad things react, depending on the emotions of the owner. Their ancestors made it quite wisely, not out of sheer selfishness."

"Is that good?" ask Day after she finishes her daydream.

"All things are balanced in this mortal world. Including the usefulness of an object. As great as any hope and power contained within it, it must have flaws." Jemari Danu slowly went down and stopped at the very end of the paragraph, "she has a time limit."

Hari did not understand the writing contained in the book, especially with some parts that were almost torn and damaged. But his eyes did not get a thing out of there. As if he would understand if he kept paying attention to her. "That sounds terrible." Saying Day at the end.

"How can it not sound terrible if a soul that should not be here instead has to fight alone against destiny?" Danu said a little desperate.

"Is everything going to be okay? will Miss Abbysca whom I have served since childhood return?" that was the thing he had been anxious to ask since he first realized the existence of a Danu who turned out to be not just a grandfather of his non-friend.

"It depends on the effort he makes. I don't know the reason behind all this. But one thing is certain, what we are going to reap is what we plant." Danu looked at Hari right in his eyes, "And the other thing that has become the decree is, when the soul leaves the body, then the soul will not return to the same body."

The day that heard all those meaningful sentences couldn't help but hold her aching head. This puzzle is more difficult than to bring order to the brash servants in the Anggara residence.

"That means that Miss Abbysca is really gone?"

A nod from Danu made Hari feel sad mixed with disappointment. Why does the nona have to go in a state like this? those who are called family and loved ones are not even aware that they have just lost an important figure. Isn't this so outrageous?

"Then, what will happen after this?"

Danu gave a shady smile, "who knows about it except the Power? we can only live it."

"Are you like that too?" ask Hari back.

Danu turned, giving a questioning look.

"I was wondering. Who are you really? where did you come from? do you come from the past?"

Danu was silent while winking her old eyes a few times. No one had ever asked her anything like that because they didn't know. But this is a Day that has one more advantage than humans in general.

"The young woman came from a very distant time and time. As for me, only ordinary people know a little about that time and that time." Danu answered in the end. Then, he again continued, "we are clearly different, sir."

Hari said nothing more after understanding what Danu said. His heart wanted to keep asking, but his brain told him to shut up.

There was a long pause between the two, until Danu broke the silence. "May all get their desired ending."

. . .

TB

Good morning guys. May health and safety be with us all.

I came up with the latest chapter and the most complicated part. I had to revise many times since yesterday so that my friends are not too dizzy with what I want to say in this chapter.

For that, I beg his appreciation for my hard work that makes this dizziness. ^_^
