Abby walks a few steps behind Gara as the man takes her around as Melly directs. And as Abby had guessed that what is meant by 'wandering' here is Gara who will bring Abby to meet the guests from the upper class who are big-mouthed and good at tongue-lightning. Abby had not even prepared a weapon, what if a female approached and directly attacked her because she kept clinging to Gara?
The woman stopped when she stopped, "you're like a chick if you're like that. Please walk beside me!" pinta Gara with a subtle tone and just glanced at him from the tip of the eye. Abby snorted but kept on complying.
The attention of all the part-time invited guests was thirty percent towards the two of them. Wanting to be denied like anything, the two did look very suitable when side by side, as if they were already destined to be together. Although there was no meaningful physical contact like hands grasping each other or embracing each other, yet the aura of spring flowers was like blooming all around them.
"Miss Abbysca looks calmer than ever. It makes her beauty even more radiant."
"Although it's from a royal princess, no one will be able to match Miss Abbysca's beauty and charisma."
"I'm sure Mr. Sagara also actually loves Miss Abbysca, just that he doesn't want to flirt in public."
"They are very compatible. Face, body, aura, power and wealth, they had it all far above average. What else is less? why not get married soon? I want to see adorable little babies who will inherit their beautiful faces."
"Dearly enough. It seems like Mr. Sagara is starting to pay attention to his fiancee. Though, my niece already has the intention to propose Miss Abbysca to Mr. Arjuna."
"Mr Sagara looks handsome but creepy. Take a look at her eyes that almost popped out as she glanced at the men who were watching Miss Abbysca blatantly. Well, that's really sweet and thrilling."
"When am I like Miss Abbysca?"
Rather than whispers, the words of the women in each corner of the room that spread out were more like loudspeakers. Even from a considerable distance, Abby and Gara can hear it. But the two compactly behaved indifferently like hearing nothing.
"Uncle."
Abby looks at a man she once saw fighting with Melly. It's Prama. The middle-aged man sat at the table on the side but Gara was able to find him because since then, he was looking for his father's sister.
Prama stood up and greeted his nephew with a brief smile. "Gara, how are you? It's good to see you again." The sentence is so simple yet full of sincerity. And Gara is able to feel it.
"I'm good, Uncle. Thank you for coming." They have not had time to meet at the main door because Gara himself just joined Melly there half an hour ago. "Mama didn't do anything, did she?"
Prama chuckled widely at Gara's concern, "he wouldn't be that violent if in a public place like this. " Abby glanced silently at me, "oh, isn't this my niece-to-be?"
Abby wanted to deny but didn't want to make an unnecessary fuss. Therefore, he introduced himself, "good night, Uncle. It's nice to meet you. I'm Abbysca." It was the most normal greeting he could give. There is no face full of falsehoods or sweet sentences that contain licks. Abby looks as natural as herself.
Secretly Prama agreed in his heart that this kind of woman is indeed worthy of Gara. At least, Melly did not wrongly choose a candidate for her child. Prama could not disagree with the actions of his sister-in-law on this one.
"Of course, Son. Uncle sees you on the news a lot. So calm and awesome. Hope you can hang on with Gara until the end." Said earnestly. But Gara and Abby only consider the speech as a mere trite base.
"Why Uncle?" He saw neither his aunt nor his cousin at the round table.
Prama was silent for a moment, "you know the reason." Said the man to Gara. Feeling if their conversation starts not wearing, Prama tries to divert, "meet the others first there! Uncle's not going anywhere."
Gara understood his uncle's intentions, so he did not say much and left after giving a greeting. Abby who saw that didn't know what to do. Finally, he returned to follow Gara, but previously took the time to say goodbye to Prama. "I'm happy to meet you, hopefully we can talk some other time."
"Uncle would rather meet you, Abbysca. Sure, we'll definitely meet again later." Prama seems to like Abby enough.
"I'm sorry." The young woman turned and stepped back. But his feet like nails when he saw Gara approaching the group of men at the table not far from him. Should he go there or just separate?
"Abbysca." Too late, Gara had already turned his head and realized Abby's presence. The man looked at his fiancee with calm but intimidating eyes, "come here, Abby!" Gara called her slowly with meaningless hand gestures, just like calling a kitten.
Wanting to refuse could not, Abby complied in silence. He was quite hesitant in every step he took right now. Why should Gara stop at a table inhabited only by his countrymen? Abby felt like she was about to enter the lion's den.
Abby stopped right next to Gara. Staring at the men who were now looking at him with a curious twinkle.
"It's Abbysca." For introducing me, "and Abby, they were my college friends back in London."
"Good night, I'm Abbysca." Greet Abby politely and stare at them one by one without an exaggerated smile.
"Wow, pretty. Very pretty."
"Seeing calm and awesome. He fits you, Gara."
"More graceful than I've seen on television."
Abby did not know what to react to when these men praised her so blatantly. Then all he did was shut up after not forgetting to say thank you.
"Nagura!"
A bule-faced woman came to them with a silringah look like finding the prey she was looking for.
"I miss you so much." The woman will touch Gara's arm, but Gara first avoids.
"Manda, good night." Sapa Gara with a stiff face and no interest. It was obvious that he wanted to avoid the figure of the woman in open clothes in front of them.
The pretty face snatched away, "you're still as cold as you used to be. Not fun."
Gara's friends who were there began to feel anxious, afraid that Manda would be hit by a slap in a moment if acting further. Not to mention there's a beautiful fiancee here. They do not want to see women's quarrels that are always more terrible than world wars though.
"Let's go with me, just get it!" Manda advanced closer to Gara. And successfully, the woman was able to catch Gara's wrist before the man dodged back like before.
"Deliver!" said Gara with a face holding back anger.
Everyone compactly held their breaths when they saw the bravery of a Manda. Well, they can already imagine what will happen after this.
"don't want. You're still acting the same way to me. You know I like you so much." Manda said blatantly, not caring about the presence of Abby whom he had complained since.
"Let go or break your hand!" threaten Gara not to mess around. The anger, resentment, disgust and disgust were gathering in Gara now. He likes to be touched by others. And this woman is so brave.
Abby, who had been silent since then, was breathing tiredly. Why should he see such cheap drama here? he had expected, returning with Juna was the best choice just now. He stepped up and looked at Manda calmly.
"Miss, my fiance is allergic to the touch of strangers." Abby releases Manda's hand from Gara's wrist easily. Then, pull the man away a little from Manda. "He likes hives."
"Who are you?" manda asked curiously, her face looked annoyed instead of playing. Especially when looking at the appearance of Abby who is so naturally beautiful.
"I'm Abbysca. Please take care of your manners, Miss. Touching someone else's hand carelessly was not ethical at all, especially if the one he touched was unwilling." Abby gave a short speech before returning to glance at Gara whose face had hardened stiffly. He looks like he's going to explode at any moment.
"Please enjoy the party. Excuse me first." Abby pulls the end of Gara's sleeve to be willing to follow her. And unexpectedly, the man complied without being forced. They left the table filled with the young man in a somewhat hasty step. "You should thank me, Gara." Abby's whispers are on their way.
While those left behind still stared at the departure of the pair of fiancees in astonishment. It was as if they had just seen something magical on the face of the earth. Unlike the men, Manda himself felt angry and embarrassed when defeated by the woman younger than him. Goddamnit!
