Dinner was quite warm, where the Eagle would talk casually with Abby regardless of the two men who seemed ready to pounce on her. And fortunately, Abby herself looks comfortable when occasionally chiming in the words of the Eagle is so light.
Juna and Gara agree to talk to each other in one eye. So, the two people went towards the back through the large door that was at the side. While Abby, chose to take Eagle and Lilyana to the living room to enjoy dessert. Abby knew enough that these two friends felt a little uncomfortable with the presence of her brother and fiance. So, Abby secretly feels happy that they broke away without having to be coded.
"This snack is sweet, but it fits my tongue quite well. Try it!" Abby brought the small plate closer to the front of Lilyana who had been silent since, "didn't you like sweet food?"
Lilyana looked stunned as she looked towards Abby. The relationship between the two did not improve much after that time, but they also did not antagonize each other. It was impossible when Abby still remembered her favorite food. Though, Lilyana was only pretending to be 'friends' back then.
The bad taste came back to his heart. Abby didn't take revenge even though she knew she was being used. The woman even helped him restore the economy when he became a kara.
"Eat, Lilyana!" abby said again. This time, the beautiful face showed a softer look than before. Sending a signal that she has no anger towards Lilyana. There was anger, but he didn't have to say it.
"Yes." Yeah." Stiffly, Lilyana took the closest snack from him, then chewed it in silence. He involuntarily smiled when it felt right on his tongue.
Abby, who saw it, smiled, then turned to look at her boyfriend. Apparently, Abby did not need to offer the Eagle because the man had already tried various types of snacks on the table without being told.
The man's behavior is actually quite surprising to Abby, because the first impression when Abby saw the Eagle was a bit geeky and quiet. But look at it now, the Eagle really plays a real 'friend.
"I'm quite surprised that you guys came together, but I'm happy." Abby was honest. Although he knew that soon enough he heard the Eagle with Lilyana, but seeing it directly like this became a new sight for him. "I don't mind hearing good news from you guys in the future." A slanted smile was imprinted on Abby's face.
The eagle raised one of his hands in front of his chest in a hurry, "no, we are not what you think." Rejecting firmly on Abby's ridiculous thoughts.
Lilyana cleared her throat, "we accidentally met. And since he said he'd visit you who were sick, I asked him to come along." Answer the woman clumsily. Feeling uncomfortable with the awkward situation created.
Abby put her lips in, feeling amused by both. "Whatever it is, may it be for the best." The face turned serious after recalling something quite serious, "Lilyana, do you visit your mother often? your life must have been a little different after your mother wasn't home." Abby couldn't say a rougher word than that like 'your life must be hard enough after your mother goes to jail', she'll sound creepy later.
Lilyana slightly turned her gaze in the other direction, discussing her mother with others was quite strange for her because so far she had never told anyone. "I see him once every two weeks, and he looks fine." No, the mother looked even better in the washroom than at home with her. The shadow of how cruel the old woman was was so tormenting physically and her inner being was back present, bandaging Lilyana involuntarily shuddered in horror.
"That's great. Let him ponder there." Actually, Abby wanted to tell Lilyana not to worry, but it would sound like she cared so much about Lilyana's life. In fact, he was just being neutral and sober. Because after all Lilyana had accompanied her days even though it was just a skit, so Abby was not brave enough to repay the woman's actions as bad.
"Thank you, I haven't properly thanked you guys." Lilyana's words refer to what Abby and Juna did back then. To free her from her wrangling, to throw her mother where she should be for her cruel acts, to make sure she lives safely, and to give her a chance to start a new life. All that Lilyana got from Abby and Juna without being asked.
Abby just gave a small nod, no problem with that. "No need to think about it! it's nothing." His view of Lilyana was slightly up from the previous one now. Like someone who had just woken up from misguidedness, Lilyana looked even more alive now. His usual eyes implying that ray of ambition was now gone, replaced by a watchful gaze mixed with a sense of desolation. It looks normal for a woman to grow up. Abby's own condition is not much different from that.
"I hope you don't have a hard time when it comes to managing your time between college and work." Although Abby had warned Seno-managers at her restaurant-to relieve the staff of student status, she had not been able to confirm it.
Lilyana firmly shook her head, "thanks to you, now I'm not too dizzy to manage it. Thanks."
Because too dizzy with the thanks that Lilyana keeps saying, then Abby does not take it seriously. He only nodded lightly as he shook his hand, hinting that none of that was a problem.
The next second, Abby's gaze turned to the Eagle who had been listening with a mouth that did not stop chewing. "Where's Grandpa Danu?" abby hasn't heard from Danu in a long time.
A sincere smile was imprinted on the face of the Eagle. For a moment, the young man stopped chewing and focused on Abby who was staring at him. "Grandpa's getting healthier every time I see him."
"She also says she misses you and asks when you will visit. Hasn't it been a while since you've met?" continued Eagle.
"Yes, I haven't been there yet. Maybe by the end of Sunday I can." Abby's back on the trail.
"That's great, who knows, grandfather won't act weird again after meeting you."
The woman's eyebrows slightly rose, implying confusion.
The eagle let out a rude sigh, "i'm quite irritated that grandfather has been saying too many unusual things lately." The Eagle's face turned mellow.
Abby can't help but ask, "strange?"
Eagle nodded.
"What's your point?"
"Like this.can't you tell your mother about grandfather's whereabouts? grandpa misses him a lot. How about if grandpa's time runs out when we haven't had time to meet.." The eagle again sighed, his feeling was so disturbed when he remembered Danu's words to him at that time, "I don't like to hear his words. That sounds like grandpa's going far." The sparkles of cheer around the Eagle were completely gone now, replaced with a wistful and hollow whack.
Although his eyes can not be separated from the figure of the Eagle, but believe Abby's heart and mind are not there. Her face was so pale, her tiny back covered in warm clothes was sweaty, as well as her two clenched fists.
His heart had just been slapped by a painful reality. A fact he often forgets. Abby chuckles lightly, feeling funny with the life jokes outlined.
Abby glued, silent in silence. Not because of the sad face of the Eagle, but because of the words of the man who so tormented the heart.
Time out..
Isn't that so gray?
As Hari said at dusk, Abby's arrival in this world was not by chance. The necklace she wore was proof of that.
Time and limits, can Abby turn her around?
