Unable to find Gara easily among the crowd of people who were gathering together, Abby decided to go to the park to calm down. In fact, he was not too bothered by Karina's words, yet somehow he just wanted to give the arrogant woman a lesson.
Being used to being pampered and filled with all her desires since childhood seemed to make Karina big head and act as she pleased. Typical of a woman who grew up in a wealthy family environment. It is undeniable that Abbysca also used to have such a nature before it was he who took over his life.
Abby exhaled violently accompanied by a gaze that looked up towards the night sky. Good thing, tonight's not cloudy like the nights before. His heart was a little filled when he saw the same constellation, just as he had seen the night sky in his previous life.
Different faces, different lives, different fate lines, yet still treading the same earth. The longing will be 'home' feels a little treatable.
The woman lowered her gaze when she felt a sufficient chill piercing her skin. Although Abby did not wear revealing clothes, she did not coat her body with warm clothes.
The movement of his hand that was rubbing his own arm came to a halt when he saw a pair of tiny shoes that suddenly appeared in front of him. Abby immediately turned to the owner of the shoe, and was quite surprised because the face was not a foreign figure.
"Hey, are you here too?" abby asked the little girl who was still at home standing in front of her. Unlike during their meeting at the parlour - where the little girl was carrying a pack of parcels, this time the boy was toting a small teddy bear in dark brown.
The boy tilted his head, "why should the garden again?"
Abby who did not understand frowned, "what do you mean?" seeing no sign of the little girl going over her words, Abby continued, "let's sit next to me!" patting the empty place beside him.
The girl, however, did not refuse. Although somewhat troubled because of his short body, the child still tried to climb onto the bench that Abby was sitting on. And succeeded in the fifth experiment.
"All right, now tell me! why are you here? did you come with the mother of the parlour?" abby asked quite curious. This little girl, who was a resident of the orphanage they visited a few days ago, it was a little strange to see the child at this event except with her nanny who might also be invited. Or, there's another possibility like, "have you come with your new parents?"
The little girl simply replied with a slack, she looked down at Abby's crossed legs. After pondering for a moment, the boy followed Abby's style and looked back towards the front. "Why Brother?"
"I want to be alone."
"Em, is that some kind of mind-cleaning?"
Abby chuckled, "where do you know such language?"
"I heard it quite often when my brother wanted to be alone and couldn't keep me company."
"Oh..Do you have a sister?"
The little girl nodded, "brother, I love him so much." A sweet smile flashed on her tiny lips.
"Are you both living in a parlor?"
The boy did not reply, only silently staring at Abby with eyes that seemed to want to convey something. But Abby herself doesn't dispute that. According to him, it is very natural for a small child to answer or not a question asked. It depends on his mood and his desire.
"Your phone is good, where did you get it?" Abby glanced at the little doll that the boy had been hugging since.
The little girl's forehead shriveled as she looked at Abby, "why can you forget? didn't the older brother give it to her?" even asked back.
Abby dumbfounded, "ha?" the young woman blinked several times as she stared at the little girl with the doll in turn. He did not understand the meaning of his words.
"What are you talking about? which brother did you mak-"
"Abby!"
A low call from someone she knew very well made Abby stop her speech and immediately turn her head towards the voice. There, Gara walked in somewhat haste and breathed slightly hard.
"How to."
"Ck, you're here as it turns out. I've been looking for you everywhere." Although his tone was flat, but the man seemed to be worried indeed.
"Sorry, I couldn't find you. So, I'm just here." Abby looked up, looking at Gara who was now standing in front of her.
Because he had not answered, he raised his hand to stroke Abby's cheek that felt cold in his fingers. "How long have you been here? not afraid to be alone?" he asked curiously, but his speech was inversely proportional to his action which was currently releasing the black suit that had been attached to his body. After that, Gara kept it on Abby's shoulder. That woman must be cold.
Abby slightly lowered her head to hide the red hue on her cheek, for some reason lately she often felt embarrassed when faced with the attention of Gara so obvious. "Thank you."
Before long, the woman looked up as she remembered something. "I'm not alone, this boy is with me." Show Abby to the figure next to her. Unfortunately, the person in question no longer exists. Only empty air was there.
"Kids?" Because parroting. Is this fiancee slashing? there was no one there but the two of them. "I don't think there's anyone next to you." He continued while looking at Abby too flat.
Seeing the confused look on Abby's beautiful face, Gara of course also felt confused. But his worry about the cold air there was greater. "Oh, forget it! let's go home!"
"Good, I'm not lying. There was a little boy with me talking, he even brought a doll." Abby seems convinced by her stance. He couldn't have dreamed.
Not wanting to prolong the problem, Gara finally agreed. "Okay, maybe there was a kid there. But he left right after seeing me." The man gave a pretty reasonable statement.
"Why should he go?" ask Abby.
"Maybe because he's afraid to see me?" timpal Gara with origin.
Abby's pretty pissed off, "Gara!"
Because he turned his face, only this time he felt difficulty when facing others. He didn't answer wrong, giving a wrong answer was still wrong too. Do women have complex thoughts? hard understandable.
"Abbysca, let's go home! it's cold in here." After regaining her composure, Gara finally re-opened her voice. His tone sounded more resolute and did not want to be denied. Intentionally, so that Abby immediately follows her wishes.
And as Gara guessed, Abby looked quite shocked by the change in expression on the man's face. Although his lips were slightly piercing, Abby said nothing.
In a daze, Abby followed Gara's lead towards the outside. Sensing a somewhat lonely atmosphere, the woman immediately asked, "what's the show done?"
Gara shook her head, "almost everyone is inside because the core event is starting."
"Then, is it okay if we go home now?" it would be very rude to go home before the event is over.
"Then, do I have to stay there after what that woman did to you?" Because stop the step when both of them have arrived at the spacious yard filled by dozens of luxury cars.
Abby who stopped looking at Gara with a bad look, "sorry, I didn't mean to say anything bad to her. Actually, it was me-"
"I know." Sela Gara first. "I know everything, so don't turn on yourself! I was also angry at what he said. But I can believe one hundred percent that the words that come out of a woman's mouth are wrong."
The beautiful woman who was tightening her thick coat on her body was just silent with a thin smile. Letting Gara explain things that really need not be explained.
"I don't have any relationship with Amanda. Then, why would I tell her about you?" Because she sighed harshly with her eyes glaring sharply, "the daughter of Mahesa was brave enough to offend you blatantly."
Unlike Gara imagined, Abby chuckled as if she had just heard something funny.
Frowning in wonder, "can you still laugh?"
"The two women were only interested in you, so they tried to bring me down. That's pretty normal among us." Abby shook her hands, "luckily I'm not as crazy as they were after you first."
"Let's go home!" ask him to walk ahead of Gara who was silent.
For a few seconds, Gara looked pondering. Maybe I'm thinking about Abby's words. His heart suddenly felt cramped and claustrophobic at the thought of Abby's struggle, which always approached him in various ways, but in the end only got a rejection from him.
Yeah, like what that girl said. Despite always acting brave when fighting for his love for Gara, Abby never once sought the weakness of the opponent when she knew that thousands of women out there also wanted Gara. Abby was just trying with what she had and on the path she was supposed to take.
So, when compared to those two half-crazy women, Abby's sanity could still be maintained.
"And I love her so much. Huh, how is this?"
