"Are you sure you want to come?"
Juna glanced at his sister who was sitting sweetly beside the steering chair. Now, a pair of sister brother is on the way to one of the foundations owned by the Anggara family which is still located in the capital area.
"I'm glad I was there when Mama was. Besides, I don't have class today." There's only one memory Abby has of this foundation they're going to visit. That is, when he was still sitting on the first medium bench with his mother.
"Yes, you are too busy chasing your love. Until we forget what our parents left behind." Juna was honest. But for whatever sake, this was the first time he was willing to give criticism to his sister in the previous moment he would only be indifferent to Abby's bad behavior because he did not want to be made more headaches.
Abby grunts amusedly. It felt like he wanted to deny, but unfortunately what Juna said was a fact. How could Abby waste so much time all this time?
"I know I'm fixing it." Although it was only a little, but a small change Abby brought a considerable impact to her own life. He felt a little more useful now.
Juna who heard it just smiled a little. Justifying what his sister said. But his smile slowly dissipated when he heard Abby's next words.
"Sister is going home more often now. Isn't that also because I'm slowly changing?" the pain when Juna who often ignored him used to still feel clear in his memory, although he had to say for the most part that the person who experienced it was not really him.
For some time, Juna chose silence. His hands kept moving driving the car with a straight forward view, but his heart and mind were not there. In addition to not being able to stand the bad attitude of Abby, there is actually one more thing that makes Juna prefer to live in an apartment all this time. But it's not time for Juna to say it.
The grown man cleared his throat, "how is your college?" choosing to look for other topics that otherwise would not make them back awkward. However, their relationship has improved considerably, and Juna does not want to ruin it.
Knowing that the older brother was uncomfortable with his words, Abby relented and did not discuss anymore. In a slightly carefree tone, Abby replied, "that's fine. Studying there isn't that bad." If you compare high school here with in his life first, of course it's a lot of difference. However, both are equally about independent learning without having to continue to rely on teachers. That's pretty effective.
Juna nodded, "i see your grades are also slowly improving, that's good." Hari is the person in charge of all of Abby's daily reports on Juna. The old man looks happy when he conveys Abby who began to study seriously and be selective in choosing friends. It seems, now Abby is starting to understand which should really be made friends.
"I just want to graduate on time." Abby was honest.
Juna momentarily glanced to the side, "why? what motivates you to graduate quickly?" it was an amazing thing for Juna to know his sister was becoming a little ambitious now. But that's good, that kind of attitude will get you a little bit ahead of the rest.
Abby shook her head, "no, I just want to graduate quickly." maybe because in her old life Abby used to complete tasks on time even faster than the specified tempo, so he brought that trait all the way here.
"I've always wondered what you want. You don't seem interested in taking care of the company. So, what are your goals after graduation?" Juna never knew what Abby wanted to accomplish. Maybe it was because the two of them didn't have the chance to talk to each other like this.
Abby tilted her head slightly, "i'll say it later if I find it." Truly, he himself did not know the purpose of his life right now. Thinking of the reason why he could be stranded here alone had made his head dizzy.
Juna screeched, "all right, all right."
Twenty minutes later, they reached the spacious foundation courtyard after successfully passing through the gate opened by the guards. In front of them stood a fairly large two-storied building. It was the main building that became the hall and office of the foundation, where the caretakers here were doing the work.
"I'm going inside. Do you want to come or see Mr Danu?" they walked hand in hand, occasionally greeting some janitors who were struggling with their work.
"None of you comes in first!" Abby looked at the few people who came out of the office, then walked up to the two of them with a polite smile and a disinclined expression. It was as if he was preparing to welcome the arrival of the foundation owner, but hesitated to approach because the aura released by Juna was so strong. "Look! they are afraid to get closer. Brother, try to smile a little!" Abby gave a wry smile before leaving after giving a small nod at them.
It is not the first time Abby has visited the foundation, but she is a little forgotten by some changes such as the layout or the path she has to go through in order to get to the front of the male elderly dormitory. But fortunately, a nurse in her green white uniform comes up to Abby and leads her straight to the park. The woman's lips smiled when she found Danu who was eating voraciously with the others.
Danu looks comfortable and happy to be here. Good, Abby's happy because her goal was met. Not wanting to disturb them, Abby finally chose to sit in a long chair far enough from the existence of people. He was not alone, the male nurse who was the guide to the road also sat in the same chair because Abby asked for it.
"You've been working here a long time?"
"Not stepped on a year, miss. It's an honor to meet you in person." His eyes were honest, like there was no intention of licking.
Abby shook her head, "i'm not an important person like my brother, so relax a little!" he was quite unusual with the treatment of people who were always excessive if they met him.
The young man who Abby was the same age as her still smiled politely, but did not argue anything.
"Sir Danu.how did he get this far? it must be quite difficult because it has to blend in with the others." Previously Danu lived alone for decades, nothing done alone, no place to share. But here, he got something else so new.
"Although at first awkward and more silent, but Mr. Danu can go through it well. These past two days, he had even started to open up and tell me some things about himself." Answer the nurse.
Abby looked at me curiously, "oh yeah?"
"he said he misses his only daughter who hasn't been home for a long time. He also imagined, maybe his grandson has been as big as me now so long they have not met." The male nurse looked at Danu from a distance with her concerned face. As if to feel how tormented Danu must withstand longing all this time.
Abby's pretty face looks thinking. With a view that also centers on Danu who is now seen silent among people who are laughing, maybe the elderly are sharing old jokes.
"Good-grandson? Mr Danu has a grandson? I just found out about it."
