Abby walks alone amid the crowds of other walking users. The eagle had just contacted him, saying that the man could not get to the place they had agreed upon. Eagle's car broke down. And yes, it's a pretty serious problem because it takes a long time to fix.
But instead of feeling angry or upset because their meeting will be delayed, Abby instead uses the time to walk around there. He steadfastly told the Eagle to finish his business without having to be hunted for time. Because that way, Abby can do what she wants.
Ever since Abby woke up in this body, she had hardly been escorted and picked up by Erik wherever she went. She was like a princess from a rich family. And now, that opportunity is coming.
The woman immediately left the stop after hanging up the phone call from Elang. Walking to the will of his heart. Even so, he did not want to be too detached from the map that was now guiding him to the place where the Eagle was.
Actually, the Eagle told him to wait in the same place or ask someone to pick him up. But he kekeh wanted to approach the Eagle who is now in the nearest workshop from here.
After crossing the pedestrian path while the red light was on, Abby traced a junction in the junction. Looks like it's a residential area of people who live there. Various types of houses from the largest to the smallest exist, proving that the place is inhabited by all circles.
Ignoring the gazes of the people who were staring in wonder at him, Abby kept walking calmly following the female guide from the mobile phone she was currently holding. Compared to the response he had received earlier such as in the public places inhabited mostly high caste societies, their response was much more normal. So Abby doesn't feel naked. Maybe because of Abby's inconspicuous appearance and he was trying to blend in with others.
Fifteen minutes into Abby's walk, she was almost near where she was. Staring around, it was a simple garden that was quite spacious. But its existence always attracts people to pull over to just sit on the swing. Abby also stopped there, but she just stood up and stared at the cheerful smile that emanated on the innocent faces of the children playing.
His forehead shriveled slightly when he found the atmosphere that suddenly changed. The mothers watching their children play were mostly more interested in looking the other way with panicked faces.
"What is an act of kidnapping?"
"Was the woman trying to run from the three thugs who were chasing her?"
"Oh, what should we do? call a man!"
"Let's help!"
"What if one of them carries sharp tools? i'm scared!"
"No, we're more than them."
"I'm gonna call the cops."
The women continued to argue with increasingly panicked voices as the eyes did not turn from that direction. Others prefer to take their children to hide to a safer place.
Abby, who saw the commotion, stared to her left. His eyes narrowed when he saw a woman with a disheveled appearance and face trying to run off in a slightly limp way. Behind him, three burly men with vicious faces, were chasing after him.
No one had the initiative to help because there was no man there. The women could only scream and scream indistinctly. Some acted a little bolder, they just scolded the thug to stop chasing and threatened to report to the police. And of course the thugs don't care.
"Miss, don't stand there! danger!"
"Yes, they could've kidnapped you!"
"Miss, come here!"
They screamed louder as Abby just stood in the same spot. But the one called did not give a meaningful response. He remained silently gazing forward, waiting for the unbalanced 'chase game' to get closer to his position.
His clear eyes glared slightly when he could recognize the battered woman's face.
"Lilyana?"
Abby's hand swiftly took Lilyana's hand as the woman passed through her body with a gasp of breath. Then, bring Lilyana to hide behind her tiny back. And succeeding, the thugs stopped just a few feet in front of Abby.
"Please don't interfere with our work, Miss!" one of them makes a sound. Seemed unhappy with the work being interrupted.
"Oh? what is your job?" Abby asked out of curiosity, but it seemed like they thought of something else. They feel like they are being fished.
"Kidnap? or beating up people?" what kind of job would require its employees to run and chase a weak woman with a face that was already turning blue everywhere?
"Hurry and give it to us before we act rudely, Miss!" the man who had the tattoo on his arm shouted furiously. It glared at Abby who did not look scared at all.
"To.help me! don't let them take me!" the voice with the weak tone was heard.
Abby felt Lilyana's hand tighten in her grasp. The woman was scared to death.
The mothers who had just been silent watching out of fear, now slowly began to approach. Faintly Abby could hear that they had contacted the local police. Good thing, he just needs to buy some time until they come. That way, he wouldn't have to use his strength to fight.
"Go! you guys aren't scared? although we're only girls, but we're more." Abby said sensibly as she looked around her. This park seems to have been deliberately made in a place some distance from the densely populated residential area. Evidently with only a few houses standing around there, it was so quiet. Moreover, this still counts working hours, the men seem to have not returned from their workplaces.
"Don't interfere! quickly hand over the woman!" the other thug spoke up by holding a knife out of his pants pocket. It made the mothers scream in fear. They quickly took each of their children and sprinted from there. As if forgetting that the two women they left behind could have been doomed.
Abby breathed a tired sigh. Fucking women!
The look in his eyes sharpened slightly as they approached and attacked him without hesitation. The knife held by one of them was indeed only a small blade that could be folded, but it could kill anyone easily.
"Get rid Lilyana!" Abby whispered softly while releasing Lilyana's hand from her grasp.
"A..Abby! they're dangerous. Let's go!"
Irritated that her words were not heard by Lilyana, Abby pushed the woman's body hard enough to get out of the vicinity.
He is ready to fight now!
The three thugs looked at Abby lightly. How could that small and weak body be able to lift a fist towards them? but the thought was immediately dismissed when Abby had succeeded in subverting one thug who held a knife. The other two thugs looked at each other in surprise, then looked at Abby with mounting anger.
The fight cannot be avoided. Two burly thugs fought one weak woman whose height did not even reach their ears.
Although not as smart as in his old life, but Abby can fend off all attacks that are aired on him. Then, in the next second he would counterattack which was enough to overwhelm them.
It's only been a few minutes, but Abby's body has been overwhelmed. Maybe it's because he's been training so rarely lately.
The two thugs fall in turns as Abby attacks her second vital point. With a gasp of breath, the woman glanced at her quiet surroundings. Where's the cop the women said? why don't they come?
"Abby, behind you!" lilyana's screams made Abby focus back to the front, but the attack came precisely from behind.
Sreth!
His shoulder was scratched without Abby preventing it. The first thug he fell into now stood up with a dismissive smile.
"Don't be happy, little lady!"
A sharp pain ran down his shoulder. Abby glanced at the fresh blood that soaked her white shirt from the corner of the eye. Goddamnit!
Without waiting, Abby immediately lunged at the thug with the rest of her energy. But apparently, this man was tougher than the two friends who had been. Abby's pretty overwhelmed.
The knife almost hit his stomach if Abby did not immediately hold the thug's hand and give a kick right in his heart. The last thug fell.
"Abby!"
The woman ignored Lilyana's worried call. Staying standing looking at the three men who were already helpless. Sweat drenched his forehead and back. That one just was pretty fun.
The sirens sounded not long after. The sound of hurried footsteps approached them. The men wearing the uniforms immediately rounded up the three suspects with a penknife as evidence.
"You crazy?"
The pull was strong enough to make Abby who was staring at the blood in her palm was aware.
Garas.
"Are you out of your mind?"
Gara's hands perched on each of his shoulders. Slightly grimaced as he felt a throbbing pain there. The wound seemed to be quite deep. That's pretty awful actually.
But the more terrifying thing was that Gara's gaze was as sharp as a laser right now. The man looked at Abby angrily, annoyed and worried that could not be hidden.
"Why are you here?" that's all Abby had in mind right now.
"What?" He doesn't seem to believe what he's hearing. "You can still ask me that question when you almost made me hang?"
Because it seems really worried now. His eyes did not lie.
Because..lelaki it's still because he knows, isn't it?
Abby remained silent. He is conditioning his heart and mind which are not in line at the moment. And it was misinterpreted by Gara as a form of fear of the woman. In the end, Gara relented. The man sighed violently while loosening the grip of his hand on the woman's shoulder.
Gara's sharp gaze was glaring as she stared at the blood on Abby's shoulders and palms. With the remains not yet completely gone, Gara took Abby into arms. His eyes closed along with the pounding of his heart that was still pounding madly. The woman managed to make him act like a mad man earlier.
Because she said again with a hug that tightened around Abby's body, "we're going to the hospital now."
Whether because he was conscious or not, but the actions of the man made Abby unable to dwell in his place.
Garas..
