A Glimpse of Light For Raina

Dear Call

The morning prayer rumbles, Raina squirms on her bed. With a still weak body just woke up, Raina tried to get up and go to the bathroom with shunt steps for ablution. Raina immediately held her prayer and performed the two rakaat prayers solemnly.

After finishing, Raina exits her room and intends to wake Satria up. Since Raina was around, Satria never locked the door to her room. Ever since that day, Raina woke her up in the middle of the night asking for a meal. So, she decides not to lock the door to her room, if at any time Raina needs her again.

Raina opened the door of Satria's room, slowly she stepped closer towards Satria's bed. He stood right under Satria's feet. Raina shook Satria's legs waking her up.

Satria squirms and at once her legs wiggle and almost kick Raina's stomach. Raina's reflexes dodged and retreated backwards until she hit the wall.

"Ac ..." Raina grimaced as her head hit the wall of Satria's room.

Satria was shocked after hearing the voice of someone in pain. She wakes up from her sleep and sees Raina standing at the end of her bed rubbing her head.

"Why you?" ask Satria.

"I hit the wall" replied Raina.

"Kok, can?" Satria asked half-screaming as she was shocked by Raina's reply.

"Your feet almost kicked me in the stomach, so I reflexively retreated and slammed into the wall" Raina replied grumbling.

"really? But I didn't kick it, did I? Sorry, yeah." Unknowingly, Satria's hand immediately stroked Raina's stomach because she was worried that she was about to kick Raina's stomach in it.

Raina fell silent, gaining the impromptu attention Satria had paid. He can feel the sincere affection that Satria gives to his future son.

"Today my stomach was touched by a man like this. Even though you're only a temporary husband, at least me and my son can feel your sincere affection."

Not an easy thing for Raina, during her pregnancy like this, it is undeniable that she also wants to get more attention and affection from a husband like a married couple should. But, things are different. Husband and wife are just status.

"Ah, come on Rai, don't expect more. You'll be disappointed if it doesn't go your way."

" I'm sorry Mas, I have to go to the kitchen to make breakfast" Raina said and immediately came out of Satria's room.

Raina immediately entered the bathroom located next to the kitchen. Raina spilled her tears that had been blocked in her eyelids.

On the one hand he felt happy because he could feel the kick of the baby who responded to Satria's speech earlier, but on the other hand he also felt tight in his heart given the status he held only as a temporary wife.

While Satria is still fixated, realizing what she has done after Raina leaves.

"Is this what it's like to be a husband with a pregnant wife? Does Raina not feel pain given a double kick with her child in the stomach there?" Satria kept asking herself with a smile and a small laugh considering that she got a response from the child Raina conceived whenever she spoke.

Raina had regained her heart, she came out of the bathroom and immediately rushed to make breakfast for herself and everyone in the house. As the day before, Raina made a breakfast menu for herself, Satria and Bara which was different from the food menu of the in-laws. He still keeps his in-law diet to be healthy again quickly.

Satria had already cleaned herself and put on her clothes. Then he walked out of his room to the dining table. On the dining table was presented a cup of hot coffee that Raina had made for her.

Satria immediately sat down and sipped her coffee, before long Raina nimbly served food on the dinner table for breakfast.

"Hope first, before you leave" Raina said as she filled the food on Satria's plate.

Raina was ready with a tray in her hand that already contained food and medicine to be delivered to Santi's mother-in-law's room.

"Mah .." call Raina to slowly wake her in-laws up.

Santi's mother opened her eyes, slowly opening her eyes.

"Raina ..." she answered softly with the typical voice of people who just woke up.

"Come, Mah .. get up first. Raina has brought breakfast and medicine for Mamah." take Raina.

"But Mamah wants to go to the toilet first" said Santi's mother.

"Here, let Raina help." said Raina.

"Don't call Satria. You're pregnant again and your body is also smaller than mama." Raina also realized that her body was smaller than her father-in-law who was fat and taller than her.

Raina nodded her head and immediately came out to meet Satria.

" hc ... Mas Satria ..." call Raina.

"Yes, Deck. Why?" sahut Satria's.

"You ask for help, take you to the toilet" Raina said.

Satria immediately went to her mother's room. Raina remained silent in her place.

"Did he call me sister? Is that a call dear?" Raina smiled after hearing Satria call Raina subtly sister.

Upon awakening from her daydream, Raina immediately rushed back to her in-laws room. Raina began to feed little by little food to Santi's mother.

" Mah, this morning Satria has to go to the airport. Pakde Suseno must have been waiting for Satria there. Satria will go to island B to find the Cloud in the woods" said Satria.

"Yes, Son. You careful. Let us know as soon as you arrive and meet your sister." replied Santi's mother.

"Satria left first yes, Mah." said Satria to his mother and answered a nod by Santi's mother.

"You're home, don't go anywhere. Temenin. I didn't stay there, after the business was over I went straight home" Satria said to Raina.

"Yes, Mas. You be careful, yes." Raina replied and kissed Satria's hand full of reverence.

So long Satria did not ride his motorcycle, now he has driven his iron horse on the big road. Forty-five minutes from his home to the airport. Satria immediately came to Pakde Suseno who had been waiting for him at the departure terminal.

After performing all the procedures for departure, Satria and Pakde Suseno enter the plane that will take them to island B. Satria and Pakde Suseno are already sitting in assigned passenger seats. The plane began to leave the runway.
