A Glimpse of Light For Raina

A Glimpse of Light For Raina
The Other Side of Raina

The atmosphere of the night in urban areas is very different from in the village, although it is not so crowded tonight, but still there are still many seliweran on the road, both from various street vendors and young people who come out just to enjoy the atmosphere of the city night.

Raina stopped her motorbike at the side of the road, approaching two children who were still sitting on the side of the road waiting for someone who would buy the newspapers they wanted.

"Daddy, why haven't you come home yet? This is his sister, right?" raina asked a larger child while pointing at a child who might be five years old next to her.

"The newspaper's not over yet, brother. Yes, this is my sister. If you go home but still bring the rest of the newspaper like this, will be scolded by the mother." said the child.

Raina was devastated to hear the sentence uttered by the child.

"How can a mother treat her child this way?"

Raina turned her face rubbing the corner of her watery eyes.

"Have you eaten yet?" Raina asked again.

The boy just shook his head.

Raina understood with her answer, she spread her gaze around the road. Looking for food stalls near her. His eyes were fixed on a fried rice stall located across the street.

Raina took the two brothers to the shop. Upon arrival, Raina immediately ordered two servings.

Raina was very grateful, even though she had been faced with the most difficult situation at that time, but there were still fathers who never stopped doing anything so that their children would not be begging or starving.

Raina watched the two children eat voraciously. Raina was so happy to help them. Because he is aware, of some of the windfall he has, there is also some right for them. And he always remembered his father's message, because there are still many people out there who suffer more than their families.

Raina again shed her tears, remembering her late father.

"Father ... Raina hasn't seen you for a long time."

Without him realizing all his movements have been in the video by Ridho's men who follow him. And the video has landed beautifully on her employer's phone.

Notification of incoming messages to the green chat application on Ridho's phone. Ridho immediately grabbed her and opened the contents of the chat which turned out to be a video sent by his messenger.

He watched carefully the video. Smile when you know who is in the video.

"Not only is your face beautiful, it turns out your heart is also much more beautiful" she murmured with a smile.

"Already, Brother. Thank you, brother." said the boy.

Raina pulled out the wallet that was in her bag. Issue a red sheet of money that becomes his savings if at any time needed. Yeah, now he needs her to help a fellow.

Raina immediately went to the cashier and paid for all the food she ordered for the two children. After that, he returned to the chair he was sitting in earlier.

"How many more newspapers are there?" raina asked, looking at the pile of newspapers in front of her.

"There are seven more, brother." replied the boy.

"How much?" ask Raina again.

"His unit is five thousand rupiah, brother. Per newspaper there are thirty pages, brother." replied the boy explained.

Raina counted the rest of the money she held after paying the cashier, and gave it all to the boy.

"It may not be much, but it's enough to pay for all the rest of your paper. You go home now, yeah. Pity your sister is sleepy." said Raina while giving the money.

"Thank you very much, Brother." His eyes glazed over as he received money from Raina.

"Where is your house? Is it far from here? Let's get you guys together, shall we?" ask Raina.

"My house is on D Street, sister." she replied.

Add to it feels claustrophobic Raina's heart, when he knows where the child's house is. The address he mentioned was quite far from the location he was peddling his newspaper.

"If the papers don't run out, how do they go home? What and what did they use last night?" Raina's thoughts continued to go far and wide thinking about the fate of the brothers.

Finally, Raina decided to deliver the child first. Because it's more important, seeing the little one already looks very tired and sleepy all day accompanying the sister selling.
