A Glimpse of Light For Raina

A Glimpse of Light For Raina
Room Again

Satria continued to ride his motorcycle, until the motorcycle stopped right in front of a house that he should have been in the house.

His feet stepped through the courtyard with a small garden beside him, until he arrived in front of the door of the house that was tightly closed. Satria was silent for a moment, until she finally ventured to knock on the door of the house.

Soon, the door of the house was opened by the host who was none other than Riska's mother-in-law.

"Assalamualaikum, ma'am" she told the middle-aged woman, kissing the back of her father-in-law's hands full of reverence.

"Wa'alaikumsalam, Son Satria. Where'd you run out of, carrying a backpack this big?" asked Riska's mother who was staring confusedly at her daughter-in-law.

"Satria are not from anywhere. Satria is from home and now Satria is here to gather with Satria's wife and children." Satria replied in a tone that implied there was a heavy burden she felt at this time.

Riska's mother invites her daughter-in-law to enter the family room. In the family room there is Aldo and also Raka who is watching television. And upon Satria's arrival to the living room, as well as her mother, Aldo and Raka were staring confusedly at Satria who was carrying a large backpack that seemed to be full of luggage.

"Put down your backpack here first, rest first. Only then did you explain to us all the reasons you came here with enough stuff like this." said Ms. Riska who was given a nod of her head by Satria in response.

Satria put her backpack on the floor of the family room, then she leaned her body on the sofa and closed her eyes for a moment. Aldo and Raka just silently looked at Satria like that, it was clear that so heavy a burden was being faced by his brother-in-law.

Meanwhile, Riska's mother enters Raina's room to inform her of Satria's arrival.

"Rai, prepare warm drinks and also food for your husband. It looks like he's tired." said Ms. Riska.

"Mas Satria is here, ma'am?" raina asked unsure.

"Yes, he just came with a big backpack that looks really heavy" Ms Riska said.

Raina just nodded her head, hearing her mother's words.

"Why are you just a beard? Hurry up, prepare what mom says. Poor your husband." Riska's mother repeated her orders to her daughter.

"Eh .. yes, ma'am." Raina immediately rushed to obey the orders of the mother.

Raina went straight to the kitchen after a glance at Satria who was sitting on the sofa with closed eyes.

Raina quickly prepared what her mother had ordered. After it felt all was ready, Raina went from the kitchen to the family room to call Satria.

"Mas, dinner first, yuk. Must be no food, right?" raina said as she gently stroked Satria's arm.

Satria who felt a soft touch from Raina also woke up from her momentary sleep. And was aghast when he saw Raina who was already beside him.

"I thought I was dreaming, it was real you woke me up" Satria said with a clumsy smile at Raina.

"Come, eat first." Raina brought Satria back.

Satria did not reject Raina's invitation and immediately followed Raina's steps towards the dining room. Raina brought rice and side dishes for Satria. Raina was so painstakingly serving Satria, like a real wife serving her husband. Raina also did not move from her seat to accompany Satria to eat.

"Aren't you going to eat?" asked Satria who saw Raina just watching herself from now on.

"Gak, Mum. I've eaten." Raina replied as she shook her head.

Satria nodded her head and went back to enjoying her food. Indeed after work he went straight to his uncle's house and did not eat with his family because he chose to go home. And it turns out that at home, he was even presented to the thing that made him even more fed up with his mother. Until he forgot his stomach.

Meanwhile, in the residence of Santi's mother who was none other than Satria's mother, the middle-aged woman sat down and cried. Instantly his body felt weak, because it had vented all his emotions on the firstborn. His body trembled, sobbed and recalled how he could repel the firstborn and even severed the blood relationship between the mother and a biological child himself.

"How can I say something like that?" isak Santi's.

Bara who had just entered the house also heard his mama's speech which was like a regret.

"You are satisfied with the difficulty of evicting Satria from this house? Mamah should think, why would brother Satria take a decision like this. It is all because of the selfishness of his own mother." said Bara and immediately went from where he stood back to his room without regard to his mother who was still sobbing crying.

While Erlina, still faithfully beside Santi's mother. Gently stroked the middle-aged woman's back to try to calm down.

"Patient aunt, yes. Aunty do not cry, there is Lin here who is still with aunt." said Erlina while holding the hand of Santi's mother.

I don't know what he said, he doesn't understand. The words just seemed to come out of his mouth. Even he realized, it would not be possible and would not be able to change his position in the heart of Satria. He was just a former spy Satria. His efforts to regain Satria's heart through Santi's mother who is the mother of Satria, turned out to be fruitless.

Even now he really feels guilty for taking advantage of the chaotic mood of Santi's mother who wants a separation between Satria and his wife.

"God, forgive myself for being the most selfish human being regardless of the feelings of others." - Erlina.

After Santi's mother felt quite calm, Erlina also said goodbye to go home.

*********

"I'm sorry, if my presence this evening bothers you. You must be confused and wondering, why did I come here with this large, fully loaded backpack? I've decided to get out of the house and I want to get together with my little family" Satria said.

Everyone in the family room looked at each other after hearing Satria's explanation.

"You mean? You want to stay with us here?" ask Ms. Riska.

"For a while I asked my mother for permission to stay here for a while until I got a decent place to live for Raina and Al" Satria replied.

"Then what about your mom?" ask Riska again.

"Hmmm .. I can't stand my mother, ma'am. Even Mamah had already severed the relationship between my own biological child and her. He no longer wants to think of me as his son." replied Satria who sounded bitter.

"Astagfirullah .. patient yes, son. Maybe he got carried away with his emotions until he said something like that. But you must not ignore it, however she is still your birth mother who gave birth to you." Riska's mother was surprised to hear Satria's reply and tried to calm her daughter-in-law and again advised Satria.

Riska's mother is not inexhaustible with her iron which until the heart acts like this against her own biological child. Angry parents to their children, it should not be Santi's mother to say such a thing.

"Thank you, Mom. Thank you to all of you who still want to accept my presence here." said Satria.

"Hemm .. should be, son. You are Raina's husband. Which means the mother's daughter-in-law and also the sister-in-law to the other mother's children. You've been considered as a mother's own child." replied Riska's mother.

While all just quietly listening to the conversation between Satria and their mother. Aldo and Raka just smiled at the words of his mother, they had also accepted Satria as their brother-in-law.

" Thank you very much again" said Satria while kissing the back of her mother-in-law's hands full of reverence.

"Yes, already. You take a break, bring your stuff upstairs. You can sleep with Aldo there." said Riska's mother.

"Ehm, sorry Mom. No, I slept in the room with Raina. Let me also help Raina if Al wakes up at midnight." pinta Satria.

Riska's mother looked at Raina and then looked back at Satria.

"Yes, please. After all, you should sleep in the room so that it is more compact in parenting" said Ms. Riska invited her daughter-in-law to sleep in the room with her daughter.

They all went into their own rooms. Same with Raina and Satria. Satria put the backpack in Raina's room.

"Let's put it there, Mas. Tomorrow let me tidy it up." said Raina as she pointed at the empty room next to Al's closet.

Satria followed what Raina said. Meanwhile, Raina moves Al's sleeping position so that there is room for Satria to sleep together on the mattress.

"Ehm ... Deck, let Mas sleep under. It's okay, really." said Satria who saw Raina's mattress that is not too big if it must be occupied by three of her.

"Mas sure?" asked Raina who felt bad.

"Yes, it's okay. After all, Mas right, also slept down here." replied Satria.

"Oh, then let Raina prepare the mattress first" said Raina as she stepped up to take a folding mattress inside her large closet.

Raina unfolds the mattress on the floor, then covers it with sheets so Satria feels comfortable sleeping on it.

"Here, please rest" said Raina who stood up and invited Satria to sleep.

"Thank you." said Satria as she gently ruffled Raina's hair and smiled at the woman.

Now that their distance was truly as short as ever, Raina fell silent as Satria ruffled her hair. Because this was the first thing again Satria touched her head gently after a few months not together as long as she was out of her in-laws' house.

Unexpectedly, Satria landed a soft kiss known to Raina and made the woman more silent and blushing.

"Good night" said Satria after landing a kiss.

Although only kissing was allowed, it had managed to make Raina's cheeks blush and become misbehaved.

"Ehm, yes good night." Raina replied nervously and immediately turned her body towards her bed. Raina immediately climbed onto the mattress and slept on Satria's back. Raina blushed in embarrassment after the incident. Although short, but makes his heart again vibrate and feel flowery.
