A Glimpse of Light For Raina

A Glimpse of Light For Raina
Barmy

A month has passed, the age of Raina's womb has entered eight months. Raina was getting tired in moving or doing something because she was stuck with her stomach getting bigger. Not to mention if she sits and has to get up from her seat, Raina feels full and tight in her lower abdomen and sometimes she also feels pain in the sensitive part. Because, the content that has grown will make the birth canal more expanded.

Today Raina began packing some of her baby gear into a special bag of baby gear that she had bought, not all she had brought were just a few. So even with her clothes, Raina only packed the clothes she had bought at that time, because Raina still had clothes left in her own room at her mother's house.

"Mah ..." said Raina who went into her in-laws' room.

"Yes, Rai ..." replied Santi's mother.

"Ehm, Raina will go home to her mother's house today" said Raina, who had been sitting on the side of her mattress.

Santi's mother confirmed her sitting position and looked at Raina's face.

"I'm sorry, ma'am, honey. If you are still healthy and strong as before suffering from this disease, maybe you will not let you go home. Mamah will take care of you and also this great-granddaughter." said Santi's mother while holding both hands of her daughter-in-law.

"Yes, Mah. Raina understood." said Raina while smiling.

"Will anyone pick you up later?" ask Santi's mother.

"Yes, Mah. Raina has asked Aldo's brother to pick up Raina later tonight." Raina replied.

"alright. Mamah will miss you as well as your cooking." said Santi's mother with a small laugh.

"Mama, as if Raina would never return to this house again. Raina will still be your daughter-in-law, right?" raina asked, which of course without her realizing she had put out words that she had never thought of before.

"Of course, honey. Of course you always think you're mama's daughter-in-law. And the door of this house will always be open for you, whenever you want to come back here, mamah will open it wide for you." replied Ms Santi who stared there was sadness in the eyes of Raina.

"Thank you, Mah." said Raina, hugging her body.

At Raina's residence, Riska's mother is busy cleaning her daughter's room which has not been occupied for a long time and of course because Raina will return to the house again. He'll make Raina comfortable with her room. Not to forget he has replaced Raina's mattress that is not soft anymore with a new and more soft.

Same with Santi's mother, he was very enthusiastic waiting for the presence of their first grandchild.

Armed with her savings during her time as Rio's wife, as well as some gold and a car she had sold before, she was able to start her life well together with her children.

So now, he can have a cake shop that began to crowded customers, of course, can make himself able to buy anything and meet all the needs of his family without fear of feeling shortcomings like before. For him by giving the best for the happiness of his children, it can be a little atonement for his mistakes that had left his children with all the distress that befell his three children.

Elsewhere, on the island and in a different city. This is where Satria works. Satria still felt that something was covered by Raina from her. Recalling that afternoon, she gets a message from Raina if Raina will go home to her parents' house that day. Making Satria increasingly misunderstand what has happened actually.

"Did he want to avoid me? Is it possible that after she gives birth later, she doesn't want to continue this marriage anymore?" Satria wondered with her own heart.

What she actually thought was very contrary to what Raina was thinking.

The sun has been moving away changed with the dark blue sky and stars that began to scatter and bright light from the moon.

Raina was ready with all the equipment she would bring. In the middle of dinner together with his in-laws and sister-in-law, there was the sound of the roar of a car entering the yard of his home-in-law.

"Is that your brother who's picked you up?" ask Santi's mother.

"It looks like it is, Mah. Let Raina look ahead." replied Raina.

Raina moved out of the dining room and stepped out to see who was coming. Right, the brother's guess has picked him up.

"Assalamualaikum ..." said Aldo from the outside.

"Walaikumsalam ..." replied Raina who opened the door.

"Are you ready?" ask Aldo.

"Sister had eaten before here. If you are still eating, continue eating. Brother will be waiting for you here." replied Aldo while sitting on the living room couch.

"OKs. Raina stay inside first huh, sister." said Raina.

Aldo just nodded his head and let his sister back into the dining room.

"Is Aldo really here?" ask Santi's mother who is still in the dining room.

"Yes, Mah." replied Raina who returned to her seat.

"Why not go in for dinner together?" ask Santi's mother again.

"Said brother Aldo, he had eaten before coming here" replied Raina.

"Oh, finish your meal. Mamah will accompany him in front." said Santi's mother.

Raina went back to eating her delayed food. For a moment he thought, if this is the last dinner with the Satria family in the house.

Raina immediately cleaned up the leftovers on the dining table and began washing them. Unknowingly, her tears came back.

"Ah, why have I been so sensitive lately" he muttered as he wiped his tears with a bitter smile.

"Sir Raina, let Bara wash it. Sister Raina go out and prepare all the goods" said Bara who suddenly came to the kitchen.

"Did you throw me out? Don't you want to see me here again? Let me clean this up before I actually leave this house one last time." Raina continued to say without turning her head slightly towards her sister-in-law.

"Sir .. I didn't mean to hurt brother. I'm sorry if my words made you sad. Brother is still my best brother-in-law and of course Satria wants the same thing as me. Believe me, brother." said Bara who felt guilty.

"Ehm, do you know what you're feeling about the two of us?" asked Raina who looked at Bara's face and while smiling cynically.

"Hehe, Bara just guessed it." Bara replied while scratching her non-itchy head.

"If you're not here, take care of your mom properly, watch her food and medicine. And you don't like to wander the night anymore" Raina said giving advice to her sister-in-law.

"Yes, my beautiful sister-in-law. Well ... I can't eat the most delicious fried rice made by my sister again, donk." said Bara with a sad face.

"Hahaha, if you miss my fried rice, you can come to my sister's house" Raina said as she slowly smacked Bara's cheeks.

"Yes, thank you, brother." said Bara later.

"Come, we're out. Help your sister get out the things you want to bring." Raina said.

"OK." said Bara by linking his index finger and thumb to form the letter O.

Both of them left the kitchen. Raina was in her room and Bara helped carry Raina's belongings and put her in the trunk of Riska's mother's car that Aldo was carrying.

Raina was still sitting on the edge of her bed.

"I'm going to miss this room." he muttered as he patted his bed, then walked out of the room.

"What is everything you need you've brought, Rai?" ask Santi's mother.

"Yes, Mah. Already all. Mah ... Raina said goodbye, yes. Take care of your health and do not forget to take your medicine." said Raina.

"Yes, honey. You're fine there." replied Riska's mother.

Aldo also said goodbye to his in-laws and his sister-in-law. After that, they got into the car. And the car started to leave Satria's residence.
