A Glimpse of Light For Raina

A Glimpse of Light For Raina
Meet Mother

Three months passed, I did my usual activities at home or at the restaurant where I worked. During these three months, I found no more Gina who liked to watch with her sharp eyes if the cloud approached me.

We became more and more familiar, helping each other with work as long as I could help her and we also liked to exchange stories. No more feeling that stuck over his old attitude, all I explained and still think positively about him.

After two months ago I was declared "LULUS", finally the diploma that will be all students out. On this day, the day of the diploma, so I asked Mother Eva for permission to exchange shifts with a workmate who was on afternoon duty to replace me during the day.

I went to school with Sandra. After I was allowed to work at the restaurant, we rarely met. Although, Sandra came to visit the restaurant, we just greeted each other, did not talk much like when we were in school.

And today, we're both again. On a motorcycle, shaking hands, chatting with screams because it was opposite to the sound of the wind like the road was ours. I will be greatly missed if I can't be together again.

"Rai .. to be honest, yes, I do, now like to miss our familiarity first, before you work" said Sandra who apparently felt the same as me.

"Nor, San. I did too, but what else? We have to live the situation now. You have to go to college and I have to work first." I said.

"Just try, at that time you accepted my father and mother's offer, we must be together again with the lecture" said Sandra.

"Hemmm ... What else, San? I can't keep depending on you, this time I want to be independent, San." I replied.

Sandra was silent, her gaze focused forward while riding her motorcycle. Recollecting in my mind, at that time I refused the offer of his father and his mother, I could see the face of his disappointment at that time.

"Rai .. You right, just payday, still donk, the rest of the money?" ask Sandra.

In my heart I was confused as to why Sandra asked me about my financial problems that she had never discussed before.

"Rai .. Did you hear me, anyway?" sandra asked back while looking back.

"Eh, yes, San. Wh why? You're asking me to buy it?" I asked Sandra.

"Eh, no, that's not .." she replied.

"Keep up, donk?" ask again.

"You buy an android phone, deh, Rai .. let us have good communication. Don't be expensive, what's important is whatsap." Turns out Sandra told me to buy a new phone so I could chat through the green app.

"Yes, I think about it, yeah, that idea of yours. I want to count the money first is still enough is not it? make a new phone." I replied.

"Ok, deh." said Sandra.

Along the way we talked about that flat object. Not feeling like we arrived at school. Sandra and I immediately headed to the ordinance room that had been set up as a place for degree-taking management.

When we got there, we had a lot of classmates. We reprimand each other, tell each other about those who will continue college where, and not a few of those who are still looking for a job or have got a job.

And one of them was me who was working to collect tuition fees. The fate of one's life no one ever knows what the future will look like. Our only duty is to seek, pray and surrender to the Lord, the Giver of Life.

We finally got a diploma, we saw each other's value. There is a pride for me because it can get good and satisfying value.

Back me and Sandra were talking about cell phones. After considering, I finally agreed with Sandra's idea to buy a new phone. We went to a plaza not far from the school.

We entered the plaza, skirted through every shop and finally we stopped at a mobile phone shop. See, choose and ask the price on each phone that is displayed neatly in the storefront.

My choice fell on a red Ever***s phone, which the seller said was the latest release and the price was right in my pocket. I immediately asked the store clerk to apply the phone, so I could use it directly.

"Rai, let's eat first, yuk?" take Sandra.

"Yes, can, San. I'm also a laper" I replied agreeing to his invitation.

We walked through the shops, looking at various kinds of merchandise being sold. Until my eyes were fixed on a middle-aged woman and man who had just walked out of the jewelry store walking hand in hand.

And my eyes were wide open, after I realized who that woman was. Yeah, that's mom's not wrong anymore.

"Bus ... Mama! Mom, wait for Ms. .. This is Raina, Mom!" I screamed while chasing after the woman.

The woman only glanced over and then sped up her pace, until I lost track of her.

Without realizing it, I left Sandra behind. He looked tired running after me.

"Hufft .. tired, Rai. Why are you running around, leaving me?" he said with a breath that was still hunting.

"Sorry, San, I saw my mother, so I ran after her" I replied.

"Keep now ...where is your mother?" ask her.

"It's gone, San. It seems he does not want to know me anymore .." I replied in a weak tone.

"Seriously? what did you see your mother, Rai? You didn't see it wrong, did you?" ask Sandra again.

"Sir, San, that's really my mother. I can't possibly forget, San, my own mother. Mother has now really changed ..." I replied as I wiped the clear debris that had escaped from the defense.

"Patience to you, Rai. Don't cry, shame on seeing people" said Sandra half-whispering in my ear.

I wiped my tears and looked around a lot of people who had been watching me.

And we decided not to eat, we went straight to the restaurant.

Along the way, my mind was still filled with the shadows of my mother's face. How he ignored me, as if pretending not to recognize me, his son, his flesh and blood. The more broken my heart, the more I lost my sympathy for the woman I called my mother.
