Chapter 34 - Can I be your one?

The next day ….

Valery awakens in a hasty feeling with the heart race beating faster than usual, cold sweat begins to fill his forehead alternately to become droplets that wet Valery's cheeks, his breathing was also irregular like he had just run a marathon, he was up to taking in the surrounding air lustfully.

Valery continued to set his breath many times so that he felt a little calm even though it was difficult to admit if this dream was worse than other dreams, he said, many times Valery had to suppress cold sweat even though the room temperature was quite cold with the AC that was always on from night.

Up to 15 minutes too now Valery can neutralize his mind that continues to twist what happens in the dream, this time what else bothers him? Maybe something dangerous will happen to him? Or maybe Valery will be found by his uncle again?

Valery decided to get rid of the blanket that covered his body, then he put on the sandals that were provided there, staring at the clock that showed at 4 am, even lately he more often fall asleep early and wake up early, usually the sunshine that welcomes him now Valery who welcomes the return of the sun.

Before leaving the bed Valery stared at the sleeping figure with his calm face, Valery didn't want to be sure when the man was sleeping but from the way he was sleeping maybe the man just closed his eyes a few hours ago.

What relationship is really going on?

A question that comes to mind as Valery pulls a blanket over Woojin's body, sad to say they are just the relationship of a boss and his assistant, there is no such relationship, right? Can't a boss and his assistant sleep in the same bed, even on the same roof?

Valery was silent, his mind kept asking some questions that he could not pass on to others or the man before him. 

*Will there be a serious relationship between us?

Will this continue to happen until one decides to end this?

Or will I continue to hope without any certainty*?

“what are you trying to think of Valery? You are just a hard person to be a normal human”

Valery resumed his activities to return to his room, he closed the door of Woojin's room carefully as he was about to leave the room, then started lighting every room of this house, he said, the second-floor house is almost similar to the one they rented while in America, with Valery's floor stepping back into his room opposite Woojin's.

When she opened the door of her room the first thing Valery saw was the darkness that scared her to step in, as he remembered he didn't turn off his room lights but why did it get so dark that even his sleep lights didn't turn on, was Woojin the one who turned off? But why did he also have to turn off his sleeping lights as well?

Valery hesitated to step in, though, she doesn't want to take the risk to remember what happened to her when between nightmares or real when Valery felt that she had been giggled by someone when the room lights were so dark and there was not even a chance for him to ask for help, the feeling of fear again made his heartbeat beat faster and also his body that began to tremble like Valery was looking at the scene when staring at his room.

Valery had taken a step back until his body hit the door of Woojin's room, many times Valery tried to stop the excessive heat and worry that made his heart uneasy, her hand searches for Woojin's hard-to-find doorknob, she panics so much that she feels like someone is trying to get out of the dark room.

“please, I'm afraid” said Valery, hands so difficult to open the doorknob because of the unrelenting shaking, until 10 seconds passed and Valery could open the door to the room.

As she flips her body, she sees Woojin staring at her confusedly as she also wants to open the door of the room, still with a hasty breath Valery hugging the burly body without waiting for Woojin to ask, still, she vented out all the flavors that were in her heart, Valery did not care about the cold sweat that soaked Woojin's gray t-shirt, instead, the point is he needs to be a security that guarantees if he is still alive that is not in the dream realm or other places.

“Valery what is it?”

“I don't know”

“then why is your body shaking and also sweating coldly?”

“can you shut up! I was struggling to dispel my thoughts and fears”

Woojin tries to understand by letting himself hug Valery's body tightly, but his initial intention was to exercise after opening the door and running around his house, woojin hasn't done that in a long time after incident after event that continues to drain his brain and mind making Woojin forget to do what needs to be done.

It took him about 10 minutes to neutralize all the anxiety, fear and worry in him, if this is counted twice Valery felt if he continued to be watched by someone who could not be considered as possible, all of that happened since Valery began to be curious about Aster, Aster, not to mention if it is calculated from the day and the moon will soon be a full moon, Valery needs a solution to get rid of that light when the full moon happens and he doesn't want everyone to know about him including Woojin, the man who was now hugging his body so tightly that moving was a little difficult for Valery.

“I think this is enough”

Woojin released his embrace after he was sure that Valery was calmer than usual, no more shaking bodies and a pale face from Valery. Woojin also thinks that what bothers Valery all this time is his dark side, but that also cannot be said to be true.

“can you turn on my room lights? I'm afraid of darkness”

Woojin smiled as he stepped past Valery, into the room across from him which was completely dark there was no lighting in it. He touches the wall of the room looking for Valery's room light switch and the next second the light comes on, revealing a room that is so chaotic, as Woojin remembers before leaving this room all looked neat, then who did that?

“Valery?”

As Woojin flipped over her body she saw Valery already lying on the floor, she immediately ran up to Valery and lifted the woman's body towards her bedroom sofa, which she was waiting for, so much confusion and suspicious feelings fill Woojin's mind at the moment, she doesn't understand the dark side and Valery's weirdness beyond her expectations.

“Valery wake up!”

“Valery! Listen to me!”

Woojin keeps patting Valery on the cheek when the woman has not shown that if she will be aware, she touches the woman's veins that are still beating well, then what makes the woman faint? Why didn't Woojin realize that the woman had fallen?

“Valery, what happened?”

“why am I here?” valery asked after he realized and immediately realized that he did not know what happened after.

“you fainted, do you remember what made you faint, it means moment-”

Valery closes Woojin's mouth, ordering the man to stop saying as he tries to remember what happened because like a forgetful person Valery nothing happens after he hugs Woojin's body, dka only knew if he felt around his body like it was circled by black smoke and after that Valery did not remember anything.

“I don't know Woojin, can we just forget it? We have to work so let me go back to my room”

Valery wakes up from the couch and leaves Woojin there, but has just stepped an inch back pulled until Valery knows if he fell on Woojin's lap, the man hugged his stomach very tightly making Valery speechless for not knowing to fight back or leave it alone.

“why Valery? I was scared when you fainted and when I realized you were like this? It hurt my heart!”

“A-what?”

“meaning, I don't like you like this Valeryyou act like everyone else”

“then I should how? We're not Woojin's lovers, so let me go!”

'True, we're not lovers but I know if you keep it to me Valery and also want to feel it too'

Woojin lets Valery get out of his grasp and lets the woman leave him with a complicated feeling, yet there is one clarity in the relationship that does not know when it will be a viable relationship, Woojin is eager to tie the woman down in a relationship that is more than a lover but he is afraid that it will even get them further away and not to mention will make Valery think if he just does not want himself to go away from Woojin because he needs her instead of wanting her.
