Chapters. 74. Ammar's Decree

Defin and Rashid's father immediately left Ridwan's house, they had tried hard to beg the man. If Ridwan did not want to correct it, then they could no longer force the man either.

"now how? do you think Ridwan will bring Zulaikha here?" rasyid's father asked, he leaned back his body that felt very tired.

Defin glanced at the father with sadness, not only about the state of his mother who was sick but because he was reminded again by the figure of a beautiful and kind woman who had been his wife.

"like he was celebrating, Dad. Mas Ridwan will not bring Zulaikha back here, but maybe he will tell Zulaikha about this," Defin replied later, he is sure that Ridwan will not be that much to his family. Especially at this time his mother is critical and very eager to meet with Zulaikha.

"then what's the difference, Defin? what difference does it make if we tell Zulaikha or Ridwan?" Rashid's father felt that he did not understand what his son was saying.

Suddenly, a ringing Defin's phone instantly distracts them. Defin reached into his suit pocket to pick up the phone that had sounded since.

"sorry if I interrupt, sir!" sambar Irham from a phone call, his voice sounded very agitated and a little vibrating.

"what's up Irham? have you got the results?" defin asked, he ordered his secretary to investigate the case of the fall of Diana's mother. He felt that something had happened to make the mother have to be in the hospital in a critical condition.

"i've got the tape, sir! now-"

"Wait for me in the room!" Tut, Defin immediately turned off Irham's phone call when he heard that the man had gotten what he told him.

Without waiting for anything else, Defin immediately turned the direction towards the company making Father Rashid frown in confusion.

"Where are we going?" Rashid's father turned his gaze towards Defin who was focusing on overtaking the cars in front of them.

"Defin?" having no answer from his son, Rashid's father again asked Defin.

"we have to go to the office for a minute, Dad!" defin replied without taking his eyes off the streets.

Rashid's father was silent when he heard the answer from his son, he then returned to leaning his body back to the seat.

Meanwhile, in another place, two girls were seen going back and forth to and fro to prepare their sister's application event which will be held later tonight.

Syifa was busy preparing various kinds of food to be served to the guests, while Sita was busy decorating the room to be used for happy moments between Ammar and Zulaikha.

Zulaikha himself is currently sitting on a swing next to his house, he who wants to help his two younger siblings immediately dragged out by Mama Sejah.

"you can't do anything, just sit quietly and be happy!"

those were the words spoken by Mama Sejah when dragging Zulaikha to get away from all work, the middle-aged woman did not want Zulaikha to be exhausted because she was too busy preparing for the event.

Because he was not allowed to interfere, Zulaikha sat alone in a row beside his house.

"Huf! now, what am I supposed to do?" Zulaikha switched to taking the phone that was just right next to him, he then looked through social media to fill this empty time that felt so boring.

Ting, suddenly there was a notification sign of an incoming message in the green application reads. Zulaikha immediately saw a message from someone with a big smile like he had just received a very special gift.

"Assalamu'alaikum Mbak, eeh Zulaikha 😊 do I bother you?"

that was the content of the message that made Zulaikha smile, he then replied to Ammar's message very excitedly.

"Wa'alaikum greetings, Mas! I'm not doing anything."

Zulaikha immediately sent a reply message to Ammar, he smiled funny when he saw his own behavior that was like a teenage boy who was first in love.

Meanwhile, Ammar who is currently sleeping in his room cheered happily when he got a reply from Zulaikha.

He then replied to the message with a burning spirit of 45, while looking at the portrait of Zulaikha along with Aziz on the table.

"why am I like this?" ammar muttered, then he looked back at his phone as he felt it vibrate.

"Mas Ridwan?"

Ammar immediately picked up a phone call from Ridwan while getting up from his sleep. "Assalamu'alaikum, Mommy?"

The sound of a reply from a phone call made Ammar frown, Ridwan's voice was soft and not as usual.

"what's up, Mas? did something happen to Mas?" asked Ammar worriedly, he who was used to talking on the phone with the man already felt sure that something was happening to Ridwan.

"this is Ammar, Mas wanted to tell him that Zulaikha's former in-laws are sick," Ridwan replied quietly, clearly hesitating from the man's voice.

Ammar smiled when he heard what Ridwan said. "I've heard the news Mas, and I'm sorry for Defin's parents."

Ridwan who was across the phone was shocked when he heard what Ammar said, he did not expect that the man already knew about the disaster that was happening to the Defin family.

"so, you know what?" ask Ridwan later, then Ammar tells him everything that has happened to Ridwan. Including about Defin's father who called Zulaikha to beg the woman to return to the homeland.

"ja-so, what did Zulaikha say?" ridwan asked after Ammar finished telling them what had happened to them.

"Zulaikha didn't say anything, Mas! he was silent and crying when he heard the news, "Ammar replied honestly, saying that Zulaikha was very surprised when he heard the news.

"then, what do you think, Ammar? does Zulaikha have to see Defin's otangtua?" Ridwan asked about Ammar's opinion, because at any rate this man would be questioning Zulaikha.

"All I leave to Zulaikha, Mas! if he wants to go, then I will go with him too. But, I do not want if we cross the line between a man and a woman who is not his muhrim. That's why, I asked Zulaikha to marry me immediately."

Ridwan's heart was calm when he heard what Ammar said, he really felt happy because of Ammar's very good and wise nature.

Ridwan then told him everything that happened today, which was about Ammar coming to his house and begged him to bring Zulaikha to meet with Diana's mother.

"then what now, Mar? do we have to wait until your wedding and Zulaikha's over?" asked Ridwan later, he handed the decision to the man.

"I'll tell Zulaikha, Mas!"

Finally a decision was made, after the phone connection was cut off, Ammar rushed out of the house to visit Zulaikha and told about their departure today.

"may this be the best decision, Zulaikha. I don't want any regrets in your heart if anything happens to them there,"
