Chapters. 48. The Zulaikha

After all the preparations were finished, tomorrow morning Zulaikha and his two younger siblings would move to the neighboring country along with Ammar.

The man had already taken care of all their preparations in just a few hours, he had even prepared a house for their residence, right beside his own house.

Zulaikha only chuckled softly at the younger sister, she then followed their steps to enter the room.

Zulaikha spread her body on the bed, her eyes flickering at the ceiling of her room with thoughts that began to wander everywhere.

then Zulaikha's eyes began to close to enter the dreamland.

Rashid's father who was disturbed by Mother Diana's movements opened his eyes, he glanced at the wife who looked dreamy looking at the ceiling of the room.

"it's late, why haven't you slept?" asked Rashid's father back, he saw an anxious and agitated look on his wife's face.

Diana's mother then let out a heavy sigh, she was confused about what was bothering her mind or not.

"are you thinking about Zulaikha?"

Diana's mother immediately looked at her husband sharply, she was confused because her husband knew what she was thinking right now.

"what's up? did something happen to Zulaikha?" asked Rashid's father back, he looked suspiciously at his wife who turned nervous.

"eem it's Well, I-I've said everything to Zulaikha," said Mother Diana with her fingers intertwined, while Rashid's father only sighed.

"then? what else are you thinking? haven't you done everything you wanted?" said the middle-aged man sharply.

"yes well, but I'm thinking about the man who's at Zulaikha's house!"

Rashid's father frowned when he heard what his wife said, "man? You mean, Ridwan?"

"what?" rashid's father's cry echoed throughout the room, his eyes glaring sharply as if wanting to pop out of his eyelids.

"what do you mean, Mom? don't you joke?" tanyanya then, she did not believe that Zulaikha already had a future husband. Moreover, the divorce of Zulaikha and Defin just entered the third week.

all eyes looked intently at Joseph when he heard what the man had said, especially Ammar, who was eager to strangle his brother's neck.

"ehem, he meant to start a new life in the country of Ammar," Joseph said, then he blinked one eye at Ammar making the man look at him with wrath.

"i have given Zulaikha to you, Ammar. I pray you guys are a match!"

Yusuf, who initially fell in love with Zulaikha, chose to step back when he learned that his own sister was in love with the woman.

At first he was very surprised to find out that Ammar knew Zulaikha, then Ammar told the beginning they could meet and get acquainted.

After the plane Zulaikha was boarding departed, Ridwan and his small family rushed to return to their home. However, their steps had to stop because someone called them.

"Mas Ridwan, what are you doing here?"
