Zulaikha's Last Love
Chapters. 6. The Arrival of In-Law

"son, in this life. We will sometimes be given trials that are very burdensome to our hearts and souls, but all of that can not be separated from the love of the Creator. Whatever troubles you are in at this time, rest assured that the Creator has prepared the most awesome thing for your happiness,"

right, it's like this should be. But I really felt unable to hold him back. 5 months of age our marriage meant nothing to him, for 5 months it was also he lied and betrayed me.

"son, grieve can. But don't get too late in your grief, "for once again, the mother warned me not to be swept away in adversity.

"thank you ma'am, I really feel at ease with what you're saying," I commented on the smile on my face that had swelled up from the cries that kept flooding my face.

Then she left and left, but I thanked her before she left.

Now what am I supposed to do? should I go back to my husband's house? or am I going back to my parents' house?

My tears came back when the memory of the incident crossed my mind, then I immediately got up to go home because the day had begun at night.

I decided to go back to Mas Defin's house, no matter what happens I still have to stay in that house.

After the 20-minute drive, my car reached the house. I saw Mas Defin sitting on the floor, he looked at me who was still in the car.

I took a deep breath and took it out slowly, until I did it several times so that the emotional turmoil that began to spread throughout my body could be controlled.

Then I immediately got out of the car after calming my heart that had been turbulent since, I said Mas Defin who immediately rose from his seat as I began to approach him.

"Zulaikha, where have you been?" he immediately chased me without any mercy.

"Assalamu'alaikum," I said my greetings aloud making my husband a little surprised.

"Wa-wa'alaikum greetings."

I went straight into the house after hearing Mas Defin answer my greetings, I walked quickly when I heard the footsteps of my husband who seemed to be chasing me.

"Zulaikha, listen to me for a moment!" Mas Defin blocked my hand that was about to reach the door, while I just kept quiet without looking at him.

"Zulaikha, I know that right now you must be very angry and hate me. But I really didn't mean to hurt you,"

"by marrying another woman, Mas said that he didn't mean to cut me off? huh!" I snapped at him making my own body go up in shock, I didn't expect that my desperate voice would sound so loud.

"i didn't mean it like that Zulaikha, I-I've already married her,"

Especially this now? he said that he married another woman in front of me first? did he not think how my heart hurt?

"then why did you marry me, Mom?" I asked sharply, my chest has gone up and down with a hunting breath.

"that's it's because of me-"

"the color do you feel sorry for seeing me?" I cut off his words, it was very obvious that he could not answer what I was asking.

"Why have you been lying to me all this time, Mom? why did you marry me when you married someone else? why Mas, why?" I hit his chest hard and kept hitting him repeatedly to vent my anger, he just stayed in his place without stopping what I was doing.

"You even want to divorce me, don't you? huh! you're saying that I'm still mourning my father's death, are you marrying me at my father's request?" I saw the tension on Mas Defin's face as I said, Is it true that he married me because of Dad?

"Zulaikha, can't we live like we used to? I promise I'll treat you well,"

"are you crazy, my mom!" I really did not expect that my husband was a human being who really had no conscience.

"living as usual what do you mean? with me serving you as sincerely as my heart while you are with your other wife, is that Mas?" my question with a high shrill voice made Mas Defin unable to reply to my words.

"if you don't love me, then our relationship is quite up here, Mas!" I stepped inside the room and closed the door tightly.

I faintly heard the voice of someone calling out my name, I opened my very heavy eyes to open and turned to look at the clock hanging on the wall.

"Oh my God, it's 8pm!" I rushed into the bathroom to clean myself up, I was so surprised that I had been asleep for 3 hours.

When I finished, I walked to open the door. But once the door opened, a girl snatched straight into the room.

"Whoever said it, I have already called but there is no answer," Syifa poked her lips because she was annoyed, while I just smiled faintly at what my sister was doing.

"The mother was sleeping Syifa, so don't listen" I replied as I walked out of the room.

Syifa followed from the side, then she started telling me about our customers in the shop.

I then stopped my footsteps when I saw that there were many people at the table eating, My father and mother-in-law and my cousins and employees in the shop were also in my house at this time.

"you just woke up, son?" mom got up and came up to me, then I slapped her hand while hugging my good mother-in-law.

"manghrib kok sleeping anyway son, not goodloh," said mama seberi invite me to join the others at the table eating. I then crucified my father-in-law's hand and asked him how he was doing.

"how are you and Mom?" ask me to get food for them.

"Dad and good mother, son, how are you?"

I replied that everything was fine, I got food for Dad and Mom.

"Sir, I want that vegetable," Syifa pointed to the broccoli vegetable in front of me, I immediately picked it up for her.

Then I gave food to my husband who just kept quiet without chiming in on our conversation.

"why are they all here? did Mas Defin invite him?" I glanced at Mas Defin who was enjoying his food, then he turned to glance at me making me immediately turn my eyes.

"how's your shop, son, is it all smooth?" mother asked again on the sidelines of her meal, my in-laws were indeed very attentive to me.

"alhamdulillah smoothly ma'am," I replied happily, the shop is the only relic from both my parents. And in that shop is also where we scavenge sustenance.

"oh, kid, haven't there been any signs yet?"

I frowned because I did not understand what my mother-in-law said, what signs?

"that boy, haven't you had any signs of pregnancy?"

"Huk, uhuk, uhuk." I looked towards Mas Defin who was currently coughing as a result of choking.

"he chokes on food, or chokes on what you say?"
