"Do I have to forget her buk?" His murmuring was as slowly uninspired as losing grip and confidence.
"No son, you can remember it and do work that is beneficial to you and to your future. That way, your wait is not in vain even if it must be with a little sacrifice" said Marni softly.
"Trust me son, if the sustenance, the soul mate, and death are in the hands of ALLAH. If you are a match, ALLAH will bring you together. But, if not everything has been determined by Him. We can't resist it" Marni said with a gentle smile. Diya nodded and hugged her mother. There was a sudden coolness permeating his calf.
"Thank you buk, mother has awakened me. All this time, I didn't heed my mother's advice. I'm sorry I'm buk..." He said he kissed his mother's hand. Marni nodded and kissed her child's forehead affectionately. Yuli was moved and wiped her tears that had flowed down her cheeks.
"So you agreed to accept this job?" Tanya Yuli changed the topic of conversation not wanting to be too late in grief.
"Yes, I accept" Diya answered wiping her tears and was sure that she could prove that she was not as weak as Yuli had imagined.
"When we can be brave" his question was steady and full of vigor.
"Tomorrow"
"Tomorrow? Why so fast?"
"Yes...Tomorrow we have to go to Pekanbaru and take care of everything. And the day after you're in the interview"
Diya muttered softly.
"Am I welcome later Yul?" He said less sure.
"Well...It's kan...Start again"
"Well...I don't have any work experience yet" he said, sighing.
"You must be confident in your abilities. I think you can do it" Yuli replied with complete confidence if Diya could pass the interview later.

"Be careful, son...." Marni said to release the departure of her only child even though it felt heavy to separate. However, for the sake of his daughter's future and survival, he was willing even though too sick.
"When you get there, don't forget your mom's phone. Take care of yourself" said Marni with tears.

Yuli pulled Diya's hand as she reached her boarding house in the provincial capital.
"Let's go in! I'll introduce you to her hostess" said Yuli again. Diya followed from behind.
This is his first day of footing in this city after a few years ago where he and his friends visited at SMU 2 Pekanbaru that time and left his mother to go pitting fate in city people.
"Diya, meet this mother. Our hostess" Yuli said, surprising the girl.
"Mother, this is Diya. Diya will occupy my boarding house after I move later" said Yuli introducing them.
"Oh yes, please come in son" said the mother who had gone three times for Hajj. Diya smiled and followed the old man's steps up to the boarding door.
"Welcome, son...Hope you feel at home here"
"Thank you mother" Diya replied with a smile. After the old man left them, the two friends entered their hostel.
"Where? Do you like this hostel?" Tanya Yuli put her bag on the bed. He looked around the kost.
"Obviously I like it, you have it" Diya sat on the edge of the bed. Yuli smiled happily.
