Twisted Love's

Twisted Love's
Episode 15's

When we came in, Joy was heading in the direction we were coming.

"Joy? Where are you going?" My toot.

"I just got a job. It seems I should be satisfied with just smelling the food..." Joy.

"I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you sometime. Just enjoy dinner without me huh." With one last glance at his watch, Joy quickly rushed off.

"Dearly enough. Must be hard, always on standby." I said.

"Sometimes you need to be flexible if you want to work. You should know that." Nolan continued walking again towards Carlo's place.

I followed behind him. However, my eyes were drawn to the large framed picture.

"Wow. It's beautiful ..." The picture had deep black letters on top of white - some phrases I couldn't understand because they were in a foreign language.

It looked like a dragon, whose look was like it was about to surge out from the wall at any moment.

"Do you like it?" A voice surprised me.

"Carlos!" Excruciate.

"You know, this one belongs to Naoki." Before I knew it, Carlo was already standing next to me, explaining about the painting.

"He used letters from his country and made them into art." Carlo.

"Yes letter...? They're so beautiful ..." I looked at all the paintings on display.

Isn't there a place called Kyoto City from Naoki's home country? It sounds very exotic.

"Julie. We're here." While I was admiring Naoki's painting, Miguel called me from the table.

“Oh, you have a party waiting? Let me lead you to your seat." He drove me to the table and within minutes, the appetizer landed on our table.

"Sorry, we're too hungry. Joy and I already ordered before you got here." Miguel felt guilty.

"It's okay. I would have trouble choosing anyway. Too bad, Joy can't join us." I said.

"He'll come next time. At least we're safe from the intrusion for a while." Nolan didn't care.

"How about a toast to him?" Take Miguel.

Our glasses bounced together with beautiful twangs, and we immediately enjoyed the plentiful dishes.

With the help of a little alcohol, we immediately talked about love life in the past.

"You two are quite popular in High School, right? So, who do the girls prefer?" My toot.

"Don't be stupid. The only one who gets attention is Miguel." Nolan said Exasperatedly.

"Are you trying to be humble, or just sarcastic? Wait, when did we ever talk about our High School?" Miguel asked Nolan.

Holy hooch! I don't think Nolan wants me to tell him that we've talked about it.

"Eh, I heard a little bit from Nolan ..." I screamed for a small reason as Nolan's fearful irritated gaze pointed at me.

I didn't say anything about how they became friends, so it doesn't matter, right?!

"What did you tell him?" Ask Miguel.

"I told you that you used to kneel down and beg to be my friend." Nolan Sahut.

"I never did that, *****. You don't believe anything that comes out of his mouth when he's drunk." Miguel

"Hehe. It won't. I don't believe that." I said.

But then this conversation naturally focused on their lives.

We are talking about their school - which is a relay school, every level is available even from primary school.

They told me how the place was a prestigious school known to have produced all sorts of celebrities and stars.

Since Miguel joined High School and also comes from a normal family, he gets a lot of attention.

"Everyone knows he must be special because he can get a scholarship. Everyone's talking about it." Nolan.

"But they refer to Nolan as the school mascot even starting from elementary school. He was in the Top Rank the entire time." Miguel.

"Maskot them? From such a famous school?!" Ask surprised.

"Mostly because of my father's influence. I hate it when they call me that." Nolan started to look annoyed.

I move around a lot and change schools, I can't even imagine being in one school that long ...

It seems obvious that both of them are quite extraordinary people ...

"By the way..." Having a little alcohol in him, Miguel is much more talkative than usual.

"Back in the first year of High School, a swimming captain was jealous because I beat a regional record." Miguel begins the story.

"Nolan told him, 'You really talk a lot to someone who's lost to him, ' which makes it really good." Miguel gave Nolan his best impression and laughed.

"You really said that, Nolan?" My toot.

It's funny how close their stories are to each other.

"You weren't even there. How can you claim to know what I'm saying?" Nolan was confused, he rushed to defend himself.

"You're the school mascot. Everything you say all knows. You also say Miguel has worked hard and deserves his success. I respect him for that." Miguel continued, mimicking Nolan's voice which only made the man cringe.

"Well, I think it's really very touching." I said.

It's nice to know that they respect each other so much that they become friends.

Actually, it makes me a bit jealous ...

"I don't remember saying that." Nolan still doesn't admit it.

"That was only ten years ago. You haven't forgotten it, Nolan." Miguel hugged Nolan who was quickly brushed aside.

"Be quiet. You're drunk." Nolan said clearly very irritated.

"It looks like you're all having fun here." Carlo appeared between them, patting both of them on the shoulder.

"Are we too loud?" Nolan was surprised.

"Are you kidding me? This place closed a while ago." Carlo.

"Huh?" I'm shocked.

He's right! There's no one here but us!

"It's this late? Pardon me! I didn't even notice!" I said.

"It's my fault. We'll get out of here as soon as we can. "

"No, don't be. You're all always busy, I'm sure you'll never get a chance like this to talk about the past." Carlo tried to hold us back from staying.

"You listening? That's not good Carlo..." Nolan.

"How could I not hear? Come on, I'll take you home, so let it go." Persuade Carlo.

"I guess not. We want Chateau Margaux if you want me to forgive you." Nolan.

"I like that, Nolan. Bring us a nice drink here, right?" Miguel kompak.

"... I may have, but it's not cheap ... " Carlo took a breath.

Miguel and Nolan are completely out of control ...

"Stop it, you two. Don't get Carlo in trouble." I tried to stop them and help this poor man.

"On the other hand, I don't want to look cheap in front of this beautiful lady ... It does feel a bit painful to give it away for free, so let's make it a little more interesting." Carlo.

It seems like something is going to happen, I doubt any of us would expect it.

"What do you mean?" My toot.

"I'll toss a coin, and the winner gets the bottle, plus ..." Carlo staring.

"... dating Julia." Further.

Dating ?! What's that for?!

"Hey, wait! Don't get me involved in this!" I exclaimed.

"I might eavesdrop, but you're more guilty because you made them keep raving earlier." Carlo defended himself.

"That's right.." Nolan.

"That's bullshit!" I'm rising.

"I'm willing to play." Miguel followed.

Three on one... Their small bet is one step closer to paying off.

"Wait a minute! I never said I agree with this!" But the three men did not heed my protest.

"Let's do it!" Carlo threw the coin into the air.

"Head." Miguel chose first.

"Tails." Nolan had to choose what remained.

I was like swallowing a large lump in my throat as the coin spun in the air.

I have to date Miguel or Nolan based on the coin toss?! What am I supposed to do?
