Twisted Love's

Twisted Love's
Episodes 10

"Say, how did you and Miguel become friends?" After waiting for a while, I asked him another question.

"That again? I thought I told you I forgot." Answer Nolan.

"But I'm sick of just talking about me. I want to hear more about you, Nolan."

"By my point? ...You're crazy." I stared at him intensely which finally made him talk.

"When I first went to high school..."

"My father won a case defending the son of a pharmaceutical company owner, everyone knows he's a drug dealer."

His family must have been a great lawyer even now...

"Of course, the media is hunting down my father and digging up all the dirt on him."

"It's bad enough that people start talking about me in the back while at school."

"All the students, even the teachers, said despicable things about me and my father." Nolan gazed into the distance, turning the cocktail slowly in his hand.

"Why you? That doesn't even make sense! You have nothing to do with what your father did!" Excruciate.

"I knew. But back then, only one person was smart enough to think the same way as you." Nolan.

"Don't tell me, she is..." I'm a little doubtful.

"... Miguel's." Connect Nolan.

I know it! Miguel was the type of person who couldn't stand that either!

"He yelled at everyone, said I had nothing to do with it, and that they were stupid for thinking that."

“It was even before we got to know each other. We never even talked to each other at the time."

"But still, he screamed so loudly that you could hear him all over the school."

"Hehe. It sounds like Miguel to me." I said.

“I never let all that talk bother me. I know that's bullshit."

"But to get out and face people about it requires. .. someone special."

"That's very touching ..." I said.

“However, maybe that was the beginning. We started talking to each other after that."

"He might say something different, but that's why we became friends, I guess." Nolan sipped his drink again and smiled.

I wonder if Miguel remembers it too. I should ask him if I get a chance.

Knowing more about their past seems to make my heavy heart feel light.

Nolan turned his glass again with a longing look, as if reminiscing about the past.

We talked so much, by the time we left, it was already night.

"So, you had non-alcoholic drinks all the time?"

"of course. How else can I get us home?" Nolan Sahut.

"You're right..."

I thought he could suppress his drink very well. Of course, he would not drink alcoholic beverages while driving.

"Don't worry about it. I invited you, remember?" Nolan.

"Yes..." I rubbed my eyes, drowsy from alcohol and a long work day.

“Please sleep if you want. I'll wake you when I get there." Nolan broke down my chair seat.

"Thank you..." I closed my eyes and fell asleep.

"We've arrived." A few days later Nolan woke me up.

"H-Huh?" I was surprised when Nolan shook my shoulder softly, Lilac Court looked ahead.

"us ... Excuse me. I didn't mean to really fall asleep."

"It's okay, it's not my idea." Nolan took off his seatbelt and stepped out, opening my door immediately.

"Hurry, it's raining."

Only when I narrowed my eyes did it suddenly rain down profusely. That's right what Nolan said.

Wasn't it sunny all day, even until this afternoon...

When I contemplated such trifles, Nolan wrapped his arms around my back.

"We're going to run!" After closing the car door, he pulled me under his suit.

In a short time, I was tucked into his chest.

While I pressed her wide chest, her alluring cologne adorned my nose.

What's got into me?

My heart skipped a beat, his arms were actually embracing me into his arms.

"Wait on! You're all wet!" As he led me through the rain to the entrance, I noticed he was soaking wet.

"I'd rather be wet than your hair and your clothes." He replied with his usual cold attitude.

"But still...!" Maybe he's used to being this close to someone, but I'm not!

How long till we get in?!

Together, we ran under her umbrella until the slender, sharp entrance of Lilac Court was visible.

When we parted, cold and moist air suddenly invaded my skin.

Well ... That must have helped wake me up.

"Thank you Nolan..." I said.

Nolan took off his suit to squeeze out some water.

"No problem. That's a great way to pass the time. Good night." Nolan turned around and went to his room.

I wanted to thank you for protecting me from the rain...

Is it just my imagination? I smell like him now?

I walked down the aisle alone, trying my best to calm my heartbeat.
