Episode 14

Nolan had already started swimming away, so I rushed into the water to join him.

As we moved towards the middle of the pond, the water turned slightly colder even so there were fewer people around.

"Is this a good spot?" Ask Nolan.

"Yes. We don't have to worry about anyone else if it's here." My answer.

Nolan stopped swimming so I stopped next to him and stuck out my legs to stand at the bottom of the pool.

"Huh? Ahh!" However, it turned out that this pool was deeper than I thought, so my feet just kicked blankly into the water.

No way! I thought I could stand on si**ni!

I panicked and tried to step on the water, but I drowned like a rock.

I gave up pushing my legs, as it seemed that my body was very hard floating due to my panic, so I closed my eyes to dive for a moment to calm myself down.

But then, an arm wrapped around my body and pulled me back to the surface.

"Why was that?" Nolan looked at me coldly as I looked up, his arms wrapped around me tightly.

"This pool is getting deeper in the middle, it seems you already know now. You came to swim, but you can't even step on the water?" Nolan smiled mockingly.

I looked at him, water droplets dripping from my hair and splashing on his collarbone.

The water dribbled down to his chest, along with my eyes that followed him. It made it look very attractive and caused my emotions to run wild.

While her arms were wrapped around my back, my own hands were leaning against her shoulders.

"Nm ... Can you take me to a shallower place, Nolan?" My love.

"Hey, you're not in a position to be able to yell at me like that. Who saved you a few minutes ago? " His flirting smile was only inches away from me and it tormented me deeply.

My heart was pounding between the fear she would knock me down and the shame of being in her arms.

"You're enjoying this, aren't you?" I said pissed.

"As a lawyer, I enjoy the thrill of holding the fate of those in my hands. Didn't you?" Nolan grinned at me.

"You have to give me a statement that can convince me, if you want me to move you out of here." Said devious.

"Come on, Nolan ..." My request.

He even wants to pretend to play jury trial at a time like this?

"Mr Nolan, I want to swim somewhere where my feet can reach." I said.

"30 points." Nolan gave a low score.

"I'm-I'm scared, so take me to a shallower place." I tried again.

"50 points. You won't influence the judge unless you can make a point." Nolan said flatly.

"You're stingy!" My yelling.

"Hey!" I exclaimed.

B-All right! Like I should use my last choice!

I gathered up my courage and pulled myself closer to his neck.

My chest pressed slightly against his breast skin.

I hid my blushing face and whispered the sexiest sound I could muster into her ear.

"Nolan .. I'm scared then deep... Can you take me to a safer place? Please ...?" I try to make my voice sound as sensual and as excited as possible.

"Hm. So, here's your answer, huh?" At first glance his eyes looked surprised but already relaxed again, his face returning to its usual haughty look.

"Pretty good. You pass based only on the surprise factor." He then swam across the pond with me holding on to his shoulder.

"Are we not supposed to take something to eat?" Take Miguel.

He said we should meet in the lobby when we're done changing clothes...

"He was here a few minutes ago ... Should we go there without him?" Ask Miguel

"Yes. He also knew that we were going to Carlo's restaurant." Joy.

“Then you guys go first. I'll wait for Nolan here." I said.

"Yes sure." I said.

After they left, I went around the lobby looking for Nolan

That's when I saw the shadow of someone behind the protection of a large pillar.

I can barely hear Nolan's voice, he's with someone.

I think I've seen it on TV ... So that's Nolan's dad?!

"Are you going to accept it?" Ask Nolan's Dad.

"I'm still thinking about it." Nolan.

I quietly peeked at the corner of the pillar.

"Mr Nolan, it's almost time now ... " A woman wearing an expensive suit spoke to Mr. Nolan, but not the Nolan I knew.

"All right." The answer.

"Be wise and don't bet." He advised Nolan.

"I know that very well." Nolan said indifferently.

They spoke very formally to each other, as if there was no family connection at all.

After his father left and Nolan was alone, I went and talked to him.

"Nolan?" I approached him.

"How long have you been there?" Nolan looked surprised.

"I just got here .. Miguel and Joy go to Carlo's place first." Reply relax.

*I'll pretend I didn't see anything ...

Seems like it's the right thing to do right now*...

"Oh, great..." Nolan looked relieved, he glanced in the direction left by his father.

"How about we go and see them?" My toot.

"All right." Nolan immediately walked forward to Carlo's restaurant, knowing him like he had been going all the time.
