Twisted Love's
Episode 13's

Joy looked at us both.

"Woo! Look at you two, it looks so comfortable... Waita minute!" Joy ran down the hall as if she had seen something.

Nolan just got back from the office. Joy approached him immediately.

"I'm going to have a billiard game against Miguel. If you're done with work, will you join?" Ask Joy.

Nolan stood there, looking at Joy and Miguel doubtfully, but then glanced at me.

"Of course, why not?" Nolan agreed to join.

Attractively. I think he just said it was troublesome and refused. I think he'd love to play billiards.

"We were going to play nine ball, but since there are four people, it's better to play cut-throat." Joy.

"Does it matter if I just watch, Miguel? I'm no use on this team anyway, I don't even understand what Joy's saying." My love.

"Of course, no problem. I'll teach you how to play another time." Miguel.

"Thank you, Miguel."

"So now it's just the three of us? How about making it a little more fun? Ah... I knew! What if the loser has to do whatever the winner says." Joy smiled cunningly.

"I'll just come along." Miguel.

"Whatever." Nolan was indifferent as always.

I watched the continuity of the game as the ball rolled around, getting into the pocket with ease.

In the end...

"I won!" Joy exclaims.

"Joy, you're so great!" By the time the game was over, I was completely immersed in the game.

While Joy and I exchanged tos, the two men were moody and sulking.

"From everyone, how could I possibly lose to Joy? Did you study somewhere?" Miguel grimacing.

"Surely that's why he wanted to add a gift." Nolan scowled.

"Calib can't know? Hehe." Joy looks excited.

"So, what are you gonna do to us?" Ask Nolan.

Joy folded her arms thinking.

"Let's play another pool! We're all going to the pool tomorrow!" Joy clapped her hands excitedly.

"Swimming pool? In this season?" I asked in surprise, of course the weather was cold.

"I think maybe he meant indoor pool." Miguel.

"Yes! I got a ticket to the pool at Le Miroir!" Joy called again.

"What?! Who's at Le Miroir?! How did you get that ticket?!" Joy never stopped surprising me.

"My client gave me. Their pool is like a resort! They even have a spa there!" Joy said that attracted me more and more.

"I'm not coming." Nolan suddenly refused.

"Nolan, not sporty!" Miguel.

"Unlike you, I don't have time to play around in a puddle." Nolan reasoned.

“But you have time to play pool, right?! Besides, tomorrow is the weekend!" Joy also exclaimed at Nolan.

"Back work and weekend are two different things." Nolan refused.

"Come, accept your defeat like a man, Nolan!" Joy.

"I never thought the honorable Nolan Zarek would run away from defeat..." Miguel also heated it up.

"You know, you two are the worst together..." Nolan grimaced and shook his head while sighing.

"If I had known this would happen, I wouldn't have played from the beginning..." Nolan.

Hm? Does that mean he's leaving?

"Smart kid! And Julia? You're free tomorrow, right?" Ask Joy.

To the pool, huh?

"If everyone's gone, I think I'll come too." I said.

"Of course we all go." Joy.

"And again, I can't imagine how Nolan swam, it would be very interesting to see him later..." I said.

"It's rude! I know how to swim." Nolan was upset by my words.

"I never swam other than for the competition. Swimming with friends will be fun." Miguel looks forward to it.

"Since moving here I've never hang-out with another friend as well, of course it'll be fun." I said.

It would be a great opportunity to leave all my worries behind and just enjoy the time for myself!

The next day, at Le Miroir ...

After putting on the swimsuits we were carrying, Joy and I walked towards the pool.

"Sorry it's been a long time." I'm wearing the swimsuit that Joy chose.

"What do you think? Isn't she more stylish than you've ever thought?" Joy.

"Hey, Joy! What does that mean?!" I patted her on the back and hid myself behind her, ashamed to show myself.

It's been so long since I last wore a swimsuit. Wearing it in front of a guy is a bit scary!

"Don't hide yourself like that. It looks good, huh." Praise Miguel.

"Thank you." I flushed even though I knew he was just trying to be nice.

"It's nice to see that you also have some assets." Nolan said flatly.

W-What does that mean, Nolan?!

"That's a very big compliment, coming from Nolan." Joy.

"You call that a compliment?" I'm appalled.

"That means you look good enough to tease her. Isn't that right, Nolan?" Joy taunts Nolan.

"Whatever..." Nolan turned his face.

"It's a shame for me too. When I swim I'm usually just surrounded by guys." While Nolan scowled at the side, Miguel made me smile shyly.

"Well, if you need me, I'll read the book in that lounge chair." Joy.

"Aren't you going to swim?!" I'm appalled.

Wasn't he the one who took her to the pool, but why didn't he go swimming?

"No. I don't like my hair getting wet. I've enjoyed being here enough. Plus, if from the edge of the pool, you can see everything you want on the handsome guys who come." Joy smiled flirtatiously.

"Is that so?" I look around.

"Hey, why don't you take Miguel or Nolan to swim with you?" He whispered to me quietly after the two men went to the poolside.

"Well?!"

"It's a great opportunity to get closer to them!" He blinked his eyes before walking straight into the lounge chair lined up by the pool.

What am I supposed to do? It would be boring to swim alone...

Like Joy... should I ask the two of them?

I can't ask Miguel, he looks happy with his own swimming activity.

I think I should talk to Nolan. Didn't he say he was good at swimming?

I called him just as he was going down the stairs to the water.

"Kolan! Want to swim together?!" My toot.

"May be." He answered so easily that it surprised me.

I thought she was going to say no - that she would rather swim alone.

"What's wrong with you?" Nolan asked when he saw me daydreaming.

"Uh, there is no ... Are you sure it's okay?" I made sure again.

"If I don't want to, I won't agree to that." Nolan ketus.

Oh yea. I forgot I was dealing with Nolan here. He's really easy to understand, isn't he?!

"Too many here. Let's go more to the middle." Take Nolan to swim.

"OK..."
