Day after day seemed to pass by so quickly. Now exactly four months Ranti's mother is fighting against the second attack of her stroke. For four months, Lintang was very patient in caring for her mother-in-law.
"Mother, let's eat first" said Lintang while directing the spoon to Ranti's mother's mouth.
Ranti's mother shook her head. The last two months of her mother-in-law had looked much more reserved. Not many words came out of his lips, while in response to the interlocutor, he only replied with a nod or a headband.
Ranti's mother's body looks shrinking. Now his body is getting thinner and his eyes look sunken, while his skin looks more dry and wrinkled.
Lintang looked anxious because since two days ago, her mother-in-law's stomach was filled only with water and she did not want to touch food at all.
"Mother wants to eat what mom?, try to tell Lintang, let Lintang make bu" said Lintang trying to persuade.
Ranti's mother looked at Lintang's face. "Marrow slurry"
She was flabbergasted, hearing her mother say something. "Mother wants to eat marrow porridge?"
Ratih's mother just nodded. Lintang brightened his smile, he felt happy because after two days his mother-in-law did not want to eat at all, today he asked for marrow porridge which of course can be a stomach booster.
Lintang stand "Wait a minute ma'am, Lintang make the marrow porridge first". The latitude passed leaving her mother-in-law and then headed to the kitchen to make marrow porridge.
In the kitchen, Ratih's mother is feeding Nana. This past week, every afternoon Ratih's mother always visited her son, hoping he could help Lintang take care of the house. Although Lintang refused, but he still came to Lintang contract to help him take care of the house.
"Ndhuk, what are you going to do?", asked Ratih's mother
Latitude is seen issuing rice flour, coconut milk, and Javanese sugar. "You make marrow porridge, mom wants to be made marrow porridge"
"Alhamdulillah, so Ranti's mother wants to eat?", asked Ratih's mother
Latitude nodded. "Yes ma'am, thank God"
"Mother, what is the marrow pulp?", asked Nana.
While stirring the dough, Lintang tried to respond to questions from his son. "Nana's never eaten marrow porridge?"
Nana shakes. "Not yet mother"
Latitude smile. "Later when it's ripe, Nana eat all of you"
"Mau mother's. Nana helpin yes, let's be quick", bargain Nana.
The latitude is getting more and more tense. "Nana continue to eat just like grandma, later when it is ripe, mother tell me"
"Okay mother"
Lintang was again busy with the dough of his marrow porridge. After an hour struggling in the kitchen, finally the marrow porridge ordered by her mother-in-law was ready. Lintang rushed to her mother-in-law's room.
When entering the room, Ranti's mother looks closed her eyes. Lintang thinks Ranti's mother is asleep. He put a bowl of his marrow porridge on the nightstand, then he sat on a plastic chair by his mother's bedside intending to wake his mother-in-law up.
"Mother, wake up yuk, the marrow porridge is ripe" said Lintang trying to wake her mother-in-law.
Silence, no answer at all.
"Mother?!"
Silent...
"Mother?!"
Silent...
"Mother?!", call Latang started to panic a little.
Lintang tried to shake her mother-in-law's body. But there was no response at all. His heart began to be shrouded in worry, worried that what was in his mind was true.
Trembling, Lintang's hand grabbed her mother-in-law's hand. Sure enough, his hands already felt so cold. To be sure, Lintang tried to hold her mother-in-law's wrist.
"Innalillahi wa Inna ilaihi roji'uun" said Lintang lirih.

Meanwhile, in a small contract near the city center. Two human beings were chatting warmly under a thick blanket. I don't know what they just did, which made them sweat at ten in the morning like this.
Yes, they are Agum and Reni. Because of such a deep longing for the woman he loved so much, Agum was willing to skip work just to spend time with Reni. From home, he left for work, but it turns out he was actually making out with women who were still tied in a marriage bond.
For people may look disgusting because both are still the same husband and wife status of others, but the love they have seems to blind their eyes as well as their hearts.
Agum stood up, then picked up the k****m that he used while doing bed activities with Reni, then he threw it into the trash.
Agum sipped his mineral water still bare-chested, hoping that his sweat would dry up soon. And stand by the window.
"Where dear, are you satisfied with my service?", asked Reni while wearing back her clothes scattered on the floor.
Agum smiled widely. "Surely dear, you are the most pinter make me satisfied on top of ra_________"
Drrrrtt....
Suddenly Agum's phone on the nightstand rang. Reni who happened to be near the nightstand, then took the phone. He saw there was a latitude name on the screen of Agum's phone. Reni then handed it to Agum.
"Who is dear?", asked Agum.
"Your wife" Reni replied briefly.
Agum was surprised, not usually at this time Lintang called him. Because Lintang usually calls at lunchtime to remind lunch.
Agum also shifted the green color on the screen of his phone.
"Mas?!", a voice from sebrang
"What's the deck?",
"Mother, mother!!"
Agum scrunched his forehead. "Mother why deck?"
"Hiks. hiks.. hiks. mom died"
Instantly Agum's body sagged. He sat on the floor and the cell phone in his hand slipped out of his grasp. His tears seemed to want to come out but stuck in his eye peluk.
"*Hallo, mas, mas still hear me right?"
Tuuuttt*
Reni was astonished to see Agum. He could not wait to find out what was going on with Agum.
"Darling, what's wrong?", asked Reni
Agum took a deep breath, accompanied by a clear water escaped from his eye peluruk. "My mom died, Ren"
