Turning Point

Turning Point
THIRTY SEVEN

The room looked dirty. Only in the light of a sleeping lamp whose light is not too blinding to vision. In front of the window stood a pregnant woman. With slightly puffy eyes, with a heart covered with dozens of questions, and with all the confusion he felt.

The latitude takes a deep breath, then it exhales slowly. Trying to control his heart so as not to get caught up in a prejudice, and trying to master his body in order to be able to stand up straight.

Perhaps what he felt was only a trivial matter, but it could not be denied, if it seemed to be the beginning of the collapse of trust in a man who had only three months to become his priest.

Who is she?, what's with all this?, that question swirling in Latitude's brain, after seeing the name of the contact on her husband's cell phone called mami. Could it?, could it be?, could it be?

His mind was getting distant.

"Darling?!", Agum's voice called out to Lintang. The called one is still stuck

looking out the window.

"Darling?", call Agum again. This time he approached the latitude

The latitude turned his body. He saw Agum was already behind him. At first glance he looked at Agum's eyes with a sharp look.

"Sorry, I'm tired. I want to sleep first mas" said Lintang as he stepped away from Agum.

With a quick movement, Agum pulled the hand of the Latitude. And immediately made Lintang managed to be confined in Agum's embrace. The hand of latitude remains dangling downwards. He did not return Agum's embrace at all. His chest felt back tight. And the clear water droplets escaped from his eye pelup.

"I'm sorry baby, I'm sorry!", said Agum, tightening his arms.

"I can explain everything, baby!", Agum continued

Latitude jerks. Yes, from earlier he really wanted to listen to the explanation directly from Agum. She tried to stretch Agum's hut and looked back at her husband's face.

"What would you like to explain?", asked Lintang

"Are you going to keep believing the same mas, if mas explain everything to you dear?", asked Agum back

"I will try to always believe whatever you say" Lintang replied

Agum sat the latitude on the edge of the bed. Then he squatted in front of Latitude, so that his position was lower than Latitude.

"You're like this because of what dear?, is it because of the name of the contact you saw?", asked Agum. The latitude does not budge.

"He's Reni, baby" said Agum lirih.

The deg!!!

The turmoil in the Latitude chest that had stopped now seemed to be forced to churn back. Reni, why is that woman who returned to disturb her calmness. After some time he tried to dismiss all his prejudices about Agum's relationship with the woman, now as if justifying the preconceptions that existed before.

Lintang stared in any direction with a blank look.

"Is what's on my mind right?", asked Lintang who began to open her voice.

Agum still lowered his gaze.

"Have you and Reni had a special relationship before?", continued Lintang also with a slightly different tone than usual.

"Yes, baby, I'm sorry. I haven't told you that Reni and I were in a relationship" Agum replied, holding Lintang's hand and kissing her.

The latitude released Agum's hand grip. He raised his legs, then lay on his side against the wall.

"I'm tired, I want to go to sleep immediately" said Lintang lirih.

Agum also lay on the bed, he tilted his body and hugged Lintang from behind, while Lintang still turned his back.

"Darling, don't be like this, I'm sorry" Agum said.

"I'm sorry, I can't think straight. Go to sleep, it's too late" Lintang replied.

Agum further tightened his embrace, though Lintang turned his back on him. He kissed the head of the latitude many times. It was like a gesture of apology from him.

"Sorry dear!!", said Agum lirih

Again, a drop of clear water managed to escape from the latitude eye peluhan. He closed his eyes, hugged a dream. While hoping tomorrow will recover as usual.

**********

The sun began to rise to its contentions. A beam of light begins to feel warm touch the soul and become a source of life for anyone who feels it. As an encouragement, through new days and of course with a new spirit as well.

The middle is busy in the kitchen. He prepared a warm tea for his family and also cooked for breakfast this morning. Although her heart is not fine, she is still responsible for carrying out her duties as a wife.

"Sir, are you okay?", asked Ranti's mother when she saw Lintang's face that looked moody

"It's okay ma'am, Lintang is just a little tired" Lintang replied as she poured the tea into the cup

"Agum hasn't woken up yet?", asked Ranti's mother

"It's still in mom's room" replied Lintang briefly. "The star returns to the room that is bu", connect the latitude with a goodbye. Ranti's mother just nodded while staring at the departure of her daughter-in-law.

Lintang went into his room. Agum was standing in front of the mirror while wearing his t-shirt.

"Honey?!", call Agum when he sees Lintang making his bed.

Do I deserve you to call me darling, while there is another woman you consider special in your heart?

"Yes?", replied Briefly as he folded the blanket

Agum approached Lintang then hugged him. There was a beam of coolness flowing through Lintang's body as Agum hugged her like this. But it is not denied that he is still unable to make peace with his heart.

"Don't let me go like this baby, I was wrong, I'm sorry baby" Agum said in a slightly hoarse voice.

Lintang tried to release Agum's embrace. She looked closely at her husband's face, trying to find honesty from both of her eyeballs.

"Mas really loves me?", asked Lintang. Agum nodded.

"If it is true that I love me, I ask to sever all forms of relationship with Reni", replied Lintang.

"I promise you dear, I promise!", said Agum with confidence.

"I hope mas can hold that promise, because a good man is the one who can hold his promise" said Lintang.

Agum smiled "So you forgive me dear?", asked Agum

Lintang joined in with a small smile "For the time being I forgive you mas"

Agum scrunched his forehead "For the time being?",

"If tomorrow or when something like this I meet again, I can not guarantee to forgive you mas" replied Lintang
