Turning Point

Turning Point
FIFTY-THREE

Lintang walked gontai towards his room. He followed Nana who was sleeping soundly. Lintang stroked the top of Nana's head gently and then kissed her.

"You must be looking forward to your father's presence, baby? I hope you are not disappointed, son. Mommy is sure, your father must have a reasonable reason why he came home this late" said Lintang lirih.

The latitude raises his feet on the bed. He pulled the blanket over his chest. Then he fell asleep with his little daughter.

Chequek.....

Agum pulled the door lever and then entered into his room. He saw his wife and son in deep sleep. He looked at his wife and son with an unusual look. I don't know what's on his mind.

He went out of the room to the refrigerator. At eleven o'clock tonight like this, his throat was dry, he opened the fridge, and his eyes were wide open looking at the tart with the inscription "happy father's birthday, always healthy and the blessings of the afterlife", stuck in the refrigerator.

He took out the cake and put it on the dinner table. He looked closely at the cake in front of him, and immediately his memory returned to play the memory that five hours ago happened.

The flashback

Prang.. prang.. prang!!!!

There were broken plates echoing in a house located in front of the mosque where Agum was performing Isya prayers'. Samar Agum's ears heard the noise of the quarreling people in the house. Agum who is usually not interested in wanting to know the affairs of others, but now it seems like his curiosity is so great and makes him sit longer in the mosque foyer.

"If you don't work, then you want to feed us what?!!", there is a voice of an angry woman.

"I'm sorry, but I'm trying to find another job" replied a man who was his interlocutor.

"You know, it's been almost a year since you couldn't make enough money for our family even very less, I can't take it anymore!!", she shouted.

The woman then ran out leaving the man.

Agum widened his eyes when he saw Reni coming out from inside the house. "Reni?!"

Reni was similarly surprised, seeing Agum in the mosque foyer. "Agum Mas?!"

Agum scanned Reni's facial expression. There was sadness on his face. His eyes also look puffy, maybe because of crying.

Reni ran and rushed into Agum's arms. "Mas, I'm no longer strong with Tomi mas, I'm not strong!"

Agum felt sorry for Reni's situation. Agum's hand reflexed to return Reni's embrace and rubbed her back. "What is Ren?, why are you like this?"

Reni stretched out her embrace, feeling uneasy until someone else saw her. "Take me out of here!"

Agum nodded then took Reni somewhere.

************

Agum stopped his car at an upscale restaurant in downtown Jogja. Agum deliberately chose a private room separate from other tables, so that his conversation with Reni was not interrupted.

Two waiters were seen bringing in Agum's order menu into his room. The menu has decorated the table. Starting from steak, spagethi, milk shake, and strawberry juice that looks so appetizing.

Reni looked at the face of Agum who was currently sitting in front of her. Hiks... hiks... hiks.

Agum is getting more and more pity. He then stood up and moved to a place beside Reni. He also pulled Reni's body and is now in his arms.

"Tomi has not had a steady income for almost a year now mas, can not even meet the needs of me and my children, I can not stand the lack of life like this mas!", reni

Agum seemed to be in disbelief. The woman he once loved so much, now lives in distress. He was also increasingly compassionate with Reni's situation.

"What can I do for you, Ren?", asked Agum.

Reni simply shook her head, and was still drowning in Agum's embrace. "If only I had chosen you, I would not have lived through such hardships!"

Agum took a deep breath. Could it be that the woman in his arms is regretting. "It's Ren, don't take it anymore. Now tell me, what can I do for you?"

Reni started to stretch her arms. And now his position is directly facing Agum with a distance that is so close.

"I don't know either. The more I get here, I feel like I'm living in a regret for ever leaving you. And I really want to have you right now"

Agum looked at Reni's face in the shade. Awe was struck when he saw Reni's face from such a close distance. Although he was the same age as her and a difference of ten years with Latitude, but Reni looks more fresh with the makeup that she put on her face. And the clothes he used were more fashionable than the clothes that were often worn by Lintang, which was just a home negligee, too, long skirts and long tops and also a robe that actually makes him seem older than his age.

"But I can't expect you too much, I know you're married and I shouldn't expect you to come back..... hheemmmppphhhhhh"

Instantly Agum, silenced Reni's mouth with her kiss. Agum seemed tempted by the charm that is in Reni's body and made her forget who she is.

Agum deepening in******* lip Reni. And their tongues are wrapped around each other. Their kiss gets hotter and they are forced to stop when Reni starts to run out of breath.

"I'll help you Ren, you can ask me anything" Agum said as he covered Reni's cheeks

"B-but what about your wife mas?", asked Reni as if she joined Latitude even though in her heart she was cheering happily.

"Lintang let me set it up, which surely right now is me who has fallen for you again, and I will make you happy".

Eventually such words escaped Agum's mouth. He seems to forget who he is, who he should be happy and who should be his priority. Just starting from a sense of compassion for the ex-lover, now makes him lose the memory that he had a family. Not just as a husband, but as a father.
