Lintang, we learn about a devotion to her husband as well as her mother-in-law. Patience and stubbornness of a wife facing the infidelity of her husband who is sometimes considered as a stupid woman, in the end fruitful sweet. I had to go through a lot of pain first.

Hanan, we can learn how to love someone in honorable ways. Always inserting the name of the person he loves in his prayers. God finally answered all his prayers. From Hanan we can also learn, a person's status is not everything. Even though Lintang was a widow, she chose him.
