Turning Point

Turning Point
TWENTY TWO

Tok...

Agum woke up from his daydream after hearing the door of his study knocked. He rubbed his face and his hair was rough trying to revive himself from the memory that now feels disturbing him.

"Yes please come in!", replied Agum

It was seen that Aan entered the room of Agum with a stack of files in his hand.

"This is a recap of today's report mas" Aan said as he placed the file on the table.

"Oke An, thank you. Today are there any obstacles, or maybe complaints from customers?", asked Agum.

"No mas, all shipments can be delivered on time, if there is a delay yes because of technical factors, such as motorcycles or cars suddenly broke down" replied Aan

"Good An. For drivers also couriers please be reminded to service the vehicle periodically yes. Vehicles for operation usually have to be extra maintenance" Agum explained.

"Okay, I answered Aan.

"Get's not home, it's eight o'clock more this" continued Aan anyway

"Yes, I'm going home. Tired long in the office, already miss his wife too, hehehe", replied Agum. Aan also chuckled.

"Assalamu'alaikum dear", said Agum when he arrived at the front of the house.

"Wa'alaikumsalam mas", Lintang answered while kissing the back of her husband's hand.

"Beauty laper, hehehe" said Agum while kissing Lintang's cheek.

"Bath first yes, let me ready for dinner" replied Lintang.

Agum rushed to the bathroom. Soon he finished and then sat sweetly in the dining room to eat dinner.

"Today is the work of mas, smoothly?", asked Lintang while taking rice for Agum

"Alhamdulillah smoothly deck", replied Agum

"Alhamdulillah if that is so" said Lintang

"Dedek today how are you, is he fussy?", asked Agum as he rubbed his stomach.

Lintang smiles "No mas, dedek not fussy really. Latitude also does not feel nauseous or vomiting is also tuh"

Agum smile. Knowing his wife was not experiencing morning sickness there was a relief in her heart. He was worried if he had to leave his wife in a weak state because of vomiting too often. But he saw his wife's condition was so healthy during this pregnancy. Because indeed he never found his wife nausea or vomiting in the morning as experienced by most pregnant women.

"Today I met Reni?", asked Lintang suddenly

Uhuk.

Agum chokes. Then he took a sip of the white water that was in front of him.

"Why ask such a question?", Agum asked back with a curious face.

"Nothing mas, adek just feel a little..."

Agum held onto Lintang's hand and looked at him with a deep gaze.

"Don't think weird baby, remember you're pregnant. Mas has nothing to do with Reni, just an ordinary friend" Agum said in a slightly slender tone.

Lintang smiled wryly "I'm sorry adek mas, adek just feel a little worried"

Agum drew Lintang's hand, and now he stands in front of Agum and sits him on his lap.

"Believe the same, baby. Mas had nothing to do with Reni", he whispered in his ear Latitude.

***********************

The new wall clock shows at nine in the morning. The middle latitude is busy in the bathroom with its laundry. Sundays like this are indeed a less relaxing time because Agum is off so it is not too busy to take care of her husband's needs in the morning.

"Darling, we walk the streets" said Agum who was standing in front of the bathroom door.

"Where are you going?", asked Lintang while brushing her laundry.

"We go to the supermarket and buy milk for you" replied Agum.

"Thank you, mas already very attentive as well as our children" said Lintang

Agum approaching the latitude "Honey, you are also our child is very meaningful for mas. So who else would this concern you guys if it wasn't for you, hemm?"

"There is still a lot of mas" said Lintang as he kissed Agum's lips.

Agum flinched, something suddenly ached "Honey, your responsibility!!",

"AaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaA MAS!!!!!!" latitude shouted as Agum clenched tightly onto his body.

****************

One of the shopping centers in the city of Jogja looks so crowded this afternoon. The queue looks snaking in front of the cashier. People were seen lined up with trolleys full of their groceries.

The latitude runs down the aisles of supermarkets that serve various types of household needs. Agum followed while pushing the trolley behind him. He put into the trolley his monthly needs, such as detergent, sugar, rice, coffee, cooking oil, eggs, and not to forget some milk boxes pregnant women for additional nutrients.

Up in front of a large freezer where various kinds of processed sea, he stopped. He saw a fresh tuna fish that evoked his taste.

"What would you like to take?", asked Agum to see his wife stopped in the row of processed sea.

"The brood of tuna wants it to be gold", Lintang replied while showing his index finger.

"Take it baby, you want to buy whatever mas buyin" he said with a smile.

"Still mas", replied Lintang as she sank spoiled in her husband's arm.

"Doain practice shaman mas sellis ya dear, so can buyin you anything, hahaha", whispered Agum while wide awake.

"Hihihihihi mas this can be!", replied Lintang while pinching her husband's waist.

They went around the supermarket. While chatting also looks occasionally laugh. And their quality time today, they spent in that shopping mall.

"That's not Reni mas?", asked Lintang while pointing towards someone similar to Reni who was near the cashier.

Agum follows the direction of the Latitude. And sure enough, she was Reni. She was walking along the street with her husband and two sons.

"Do we need to go back to the right deck, so you don't see Reni?", asked Agum to Lintang afraid if his wife's mood becomes bad.

"Hemmm, no need mas, latitude is okay" he replied

Finally they continued their footsteps towards the cashier. And right before reaching the cashier, Reni saw the presence of Agum as well as Latitude.

"Hey mas, again shopping as well?", asked Reni greeting Agum

"Yes mbak. Where is your husband and your son?", asked Agum

Shortly thereafter, three men appeared. They are also the husband of Reni's two children.

"Gum, what shopping?", asked Tomi while standing next to Reni

"It's Tom, shopping for the same monthly needs of milk for Lintang, right dear?", said Agum while draping his arm to the waist Lintang. Latitude jerks.

Why did Agum suddenly become so intimate?, did he deliberately show off our intimacy with a position like this in front of Reni?

"Eh yes mas", replied the clumsy latitude.

"This is your wife Gum?", asked Tomi to Agum.

Agum also introduced Lintang to Tomi and also Reni's two children who were about five years and three years old.

"You still look young" Tomi said. The latitude is smiling too.

Tomi looked towards the trolley that Agum was carrying.

"Well, why buy milk for pregnant women, your wife is pregnant Gum?", asked Tomi

Agum smiled "Yes Tom, thank God. It's been two months",

"Congratulations Gum, Mbak Lintang" said Tomi.

The latitude just nodded. Reni just looked silent. Very inversely proportional when meeting Lintang and Agum at dinner a few days ago. Now he tends not to talk much. Agum and Tomi continued the chat until Agum finally resigned.
