In the cold corner of the room after the rain fell, Tomi put her hands on her head. He had just been struck by a glass in the morning blind. He did not expect, Dara who had accompanied him for many years had the courage to leave the house. Tomi's out of her mind. All this time he had been trying to sort the threads he had tangled with his own hands. But ... nil. It seems true that one's heart may freeze, and it's his wife Dara's turn.
Tomi looks at his phone, hoping for a reply from his wife. He had already sent dozens of messages on WhatsApp, and some were not read by Dara. The woman went away armed with recklessness, and her courage. Tomi knew he did not hold enough money, because after he did not work, his finances were never filled again. He may go armed with the rest of the severance he received, even then it has been used by Tomi partly to develop K’s. Tomi's worried. Just this time, the woman did not shed a single tear even as Tomi had been trying to hold her back as she pulled the suitcase towards the car that was picking her up. His heart began to break, imagining where the woman would go, and what she would live her life without Dara.
“Ra ... where are you?” he whispered to himself, held his grief, and several times opened his cellphone gallery staring at the picture of Dara with children. Only one or two photos of Dara with the children are stored on her phone. More Tomi keeps photos of herself with the kids.
Tomi fretted ... as she got restless she could see some incoming messages on her phone from Farah. He called the woman just wanted to put jealousy on Dara, because usually the woman will melt and their relationship will improve again. But ... not this time!
Dara calmly raises her children in a travel car that will soon depart for Jakarta. There was no other plan than that. ..he did not know where to go with Kio and Kayla. It's just, he could rack his brain in that 3-hour drive. He sat quietly when he finished raising their luggage. Dara took a breath, and wiped away the slight sweat on her forehead.
“Mama. Where are we going?” the same question again came out of Kio's mouth. Dara smilingly stroked the boy's hair, while laying Kayla on his lap because her eyes looked so sleepy that morning.
“We want to take a walk. Have fun ...” The answer instantly reviews the smile on her children's faces. Dara kissed Kayla. Looking at the daughter who could not speak yet, made her tear up, considering she must have a lot of confusion in her head.
His hand hinted Kio to sleep leaning on his arm, then took out a cell phone and called someone. Danang ..he's the right person to ask for help right now.
“Halo brother! Geez what wind?” danang's carefree voice, changed Dara's mood a little. The curvature of a smile on the corner of his lips, indicating he was happy to greet his friend.
“Hai Nang's. You're working again? I'm on my way. 3 hours may be up to Jakarta.”
“Jakarta? To the house of in-laws?”
“Not ... not to there. I'll let you know later, Nang.”
“Kak. You all right?”
“Iya. I'm kind. Just chill. Yes, there's work again. Bye!” Dara ended the conversation. He had thought of telling what had happened .. but it was too early after he thought again.
Dara opened the app on her phone, a small hotel with a lush back garden, she chose to be their resting place. He still has savings from his severance pay, and some part-time job fees that he does online without Tomi's knowledge.
“Ah! Just hold it, the important thing until first.” He said to himself and then put things up to the car waiting to take them to the hotel.
Sure enough! The small hotel of his choice, hidden in a street, has a large collection of plants. Her children just cheered boisterously, “Yey! We go for a walk.”
Dara looked at the two children, raising Kayla on the suitcase she was pushing, while Kio clasped his hands towards the hotel lobby. Check-in took place quickly, and an officer escorted them to a room at the end of the 2nd floor. Her children could see out the window, some complex broomsticks collecting leaves, as well as cloudy clouds that were pouring the heat of Jakarta.
“Mama. Kio wants to eat. Want to eat fried chicken.” Chirps Kio while jumping on a soft bed with his sister. The two boys were completely carefree, not knowing what their mother was really up against.
“OK. Mama order. Same. Mama wants to eat that one too.” His hand reached into his pocket and ordered some food from his children's favorite fast food restaurant.
Everything in Jakarta is fast. Within minutes, their order was delivered by a courier in a red uniform. Kio and Kayla happily ate their orders while occasionally feeding each other. Dara's heart was filled .. she carried her most precious treasure .. her children. He also ate his lunch. He can hear the sound of notifications repeatedly on his phone. Must be a message from Tomi. He won't reply to anything. He had decided to rest first, stay away, calm himself down.
That afternoon was so much fun. He doesn't have to be busy with homework, cleaning this and that. He could easily fill his stomach by ordering food, while taking time to relax and watch with Kio and Kayla. Kayla was so sweet, and Dara kissed her daughter several times. Her face was more like that of little girls of Japanese descent, her body was densely plump, and her voice was shrill in height.
Dara's phone vibrated again. Call from Tomi, let go and finally die alone. Then it vibrates again. This time it was different .. a call from her in-laws. He immediately became afraid not to know what to do, because he never refused the call of the old man.
Dara lost with her modesty.
“Halo. Yes, Mah ..” his voice is soft.
“Where, Dar. Come home. Don't do this to solve problems, Dar. Go home. Poor Aa waiting at home.”
In an instant the words he heard turned into a swirl of tears. Is it because her in-laws called or muingkin she still feels care for her husband?
Dara saved the phone after the conversation was over. Can not be lied to he was instant to be troubled thinking of the words of his father-in-law. Like a madman, he has a raging mind.
