The Woman Behind The Scenes

The Woman Behind The Scenes
Chapter 37 - New Edition

“Bu. I know that in Kio it likes to eat tempe?” Ros starts a conversation with Dara while the two tidy up the newly washed baby clothes.

“Times anyway, Ros? Same you?”

“It's the same with me, Mom. Eat a lot of it. Great am I?” babysitter Kio is indeed full of jokes. He is very liked by Dara because of his craft.

Dara gave a small laugh, while several times holding her tightened stomach. False contractions are starting to be felt lately. On that day he was already in his leave, because their baby girl should be born on December 29.

“I'm home. The darling? Kio! Daddy's home!” tomi's voice boomed inside the living room. Dara approached her husband, signaling that he would not wake Kio up.

“Sorry. Kio sleeps, baby? Here I bring a toy.” Tomi said she lowered her voice while showing a package from the toy store.

Dara approached her husband, taking what was in his hand. A large toy truck with good quality.

“Kio would have liked. Thank you dear.” Dara kissed her husband's cheek and was met with a kiss on his forehead.

“You know we have an event at the office? The 31st later. But, when the hell are you supposed to give birth?” tomi said trying to remember the delivery schedule of his wife.

“Should have day after ... But ... Ah I'm dizzy, baby. I haven't done anything until now,” Dara replied with concern. He was a little worried because his gestational age had reached 40 weeks and there was no sign that the baby would be born.

“You don't stress, baby. We'll go to the doctor tomorrow, yeah. Doctors say that, right? Or do you want operation?”

Dara quickly responded to her husband's offer with her head and face puckered.

“Mana want me. I want to be normal.”

“OK, then don't stress. Tomorrow we go to the doctor, baby.” Tom calmed his wife. He has noticed his wife's change in recent days. He often found the woman crying, for no apparent reason. The increasing pregnancy hormones actually affect her mood. Sometimes he will become annoyed at everything that happens, and sometimes happy inexhaustible.

The hand of the beautiful female doctor with a slightly fat body and blue hood, sliding the USG tool in Dara's stomach. They waited anxiously for what the obstetrician would say. Today, Dara was supposed to give birth, but she felt nothing at all.

“This content is even months. The placenta has begun to calcify and .. the water has begun to decrease. I still have time until the 1st. If there is no sign of anything, come again here so we can follow yes, ma'am ..” the doctor explained with a smile reflected on his face. Reduced amniotic fluid, a placenta that begins to calcify. Instantly his heart was beating, and he began to think to and fro.

“Oh yes. This is the weight of the baby is already big. If you can, you have started to reduce the amount of intake ..” continued the doctor.

“What is this danger, doc?” Tomi asked and could not hide her anxiety.

Slowly the doctor nodded, but remained with a small smile on his face.

“Sure dangerous. Placenta calcifying will slow the air channeled to the baby. So ... I give it only 2 days.”

They then came out of the room, and Dara certainly could not hide the worry on her face, with tears seeping down, she tried to stay calm.

“Sayang. Come onl. Don't cry.” Tomi tried to calm his wife who seemed devastated by what the doctor said.

“I've been diligent in sports. Then why not?” Dara continued to cry, questioning what was wrong with her pregnancy. She could not hide her fear because during the session with the doctor, the baby seemed not to move at all. Although the doctor had told her that the baby was fine and her pulse was normal, Dara was still upset by what she had heard earlier.

“Sshh. It's been. If you are stressed, our baby will be even more stressed dear ..” Tomi is still trying to calm Dara down. He tried to hold tightly to his wife's hand, telling her not to become stressed by the slow birth of their daughter.

He quickly took his wife home to give her foot a massage, and reduce stress. He also bought some sweet treats to improve his mood. The woman looked calm, lying down with a massage given to her left leg by Ros, and the right leg by Tomi.

“Mother why? Don't be sad, ma'am. I am also sad ..” Ros tried to calm his female employer.

“Nothing. I'm just surprised that my child can not move, and said the water doctor had reduced, I became worried, Ros ..”

“Serahin with God, mom. God knows when the utun should be born ..” which is spelled out by Ros is true, but Dara's current worries are very reasonable as a mother.

Ros sewn back on his employer's feet, with a simple smile he tried to provide comfort for his employer.

“Yes already, briefly we pray for ade utun ya, Kio. So that she is born quickly. Okay?” he told Kio who was sitting next to him, busy with the video on his mother's phone.

“Sayang ... After tomorrow you have no problem with Ros at home, right? I have to go to the office event.” Tomi asks for his wife's approval, and is greeted with a nod.

The turn of the year will not be missed by anyone. This was the fourth time Dara had missed the turn of the year with Tomi, but her husband had to attend an event at the office. Without a bus bus, Dara would have allowed it, because she knew who Tomi would be welcoming the new year with. Waiting for her husband to come home, she sat looking up at the sky with an almost invisible star as the rain was just pouring down. Sometimes she stroked her stomach, making sure her baby could give her one or two moves to calm her heart.

She fell asleep waiting for her husband to come home, occasionally waking up when the baby kicked, Dara often took the baby to talk. He must have been able to hear his mother, and great hope that he understood that his mother was waiting to worry about his condition.

Something was different about the turn of the year this time. Tomi no longer comes home smelling of alcohol. All he brought was a face full of scrawled ex-exciting games with his office friends, and he had to tell some funny things before his wife went back to sleep.

“There is still no sign of affection? What do you want for breakfast?” Tomi stroked his wife's head, and gave a kiss on her cheek.

Dara shook her head gently, and grabbed her phone looking at the clock showing at 5am.

“We have to go back to the clinic today, according to the doctor. Come onl. I don't want my dream room used by people,” said Dara then immediately wake up and tidy himself up.

Luckily, this time they have Ros, and the nanny wakes up to hear that Dara is going to the clinic. With a fresh face, he was waiting for his master to leave.

“Ros. Titip Kio, yes. Doain to succeed.” He said goodbye to Ros while carrying a backpack that he had prepared since far away.

“Pasti atuh prayed by ma'am. I'll look up to Kio when he wakes up. I'm telling you, ma'am, the woman's” is so similar to Cecil, so concerned about Dara.

Mixed feelings accompanied Dara. I can't wait to see another member of his family, and this time .. Tomi is with him.

“No opening yet, ma'am. But we're going to induction. If it fails, we must refer to the operation,” said a health worker who just finished checking the opening of the cervix.

Dara nodded, although the risks in front of her were quite large but she was always optimistic that this labor would go smoothly. On the one hand he can feel his baby who starts rarely moving, spurring his adrenaline higher, but still try as calm as possible.

“Do not think. Everything's gonna be okay, baby. Do you like this room? Very comfortable yes, here?” Tomi calmed his wife who had been lying down and given an infusion of labor induction medicine.

“Iya convenient. I liked. Hope you get through all this quickly,”

“Definitely! You are great, can kok.” Tomi this time became more supportive. Very different from her first delivery, Dara felt much calmer.

The hours that passed along with the infusion liquid that eventually ran out, brought Dara on to a progressive phase. He began to feel heartburn, and experienced the opening of the cervix. But not as heavy as during her first delivery, she was still able to relax watching television and answering video calls from her team-mates in the office that were encouraging.

Slowly the pain began to intensify and Dara slowly began to grimace in pain and sweat in the air-conditioned room that was so cold.

“Propos yes dear. Been eight. Soon 10.” Tomi stroked his wife's back.

Brak!

The door opened hard from the outside.

“Mama!” Kio ran into the arms of his mother who was sitting on a gym ball. Dara was so happy to see her son with Ros there.

“Ros. Thanks for getting to Kio.”

“That's my orders. Said let mom get excited.” Ros replied with a smile. He accompanied his employer to tell him to divert his pain, while giving a gentle massage when the pain came.

All were passed just like that with a cheerful feeling despite the tremendous pain due to the effect of the induction medicine.

“Come. We're moving to the delivery room, ma'am. It's nine.” Dara was so happy to hear what her midwife said. He was immediately taken in a wheelchair to the delivery room. There has been a doctor waiting, will guide the delivery.

Tomi stood beside his wife wiping the sweat that was dripping so profusely due to the pain she felt.

“Come. Already can be pushed bu Dara,” finally! The doctor gave permission for the birth to begin. Dara took a deep breath, wanting to see her baby soon. In 3 short pushes, there was a baby cry that was so loud. Dara felt a tremendous sense of relief, and the intense abdominal pain began to dissect, although it did not go away.

“Daughter, sir.” said midwives who helped doctors deliver Dara's delivery. The fat little baby with thick hair was placed on top of his mother's chest. Dara smiled, and she could see her husband was so happy to see their newborn child.

The midwife took the baby for cleaning, and they also cleaned up what had to be done for Dara. Dara felt so comfortable after cleaning, even though the intense pain from the labor wound began to feel, but the drugs quickly revealed it.

They returned to their room, along with the baby who was so calm. Her white skin was so soft, and it could be seen that the baby was so beautiful. Dara lay quietly, watching Ros, Tomi, and Kio were busy looking at Kayla who was sleeping soundly. The baby was much fatter than Kio at birth.

“It's very quiet yes, ma'am. It's worth it don't want to go out, comfortable in the stomach.”

“Hahaha! Yes Ros, you're right,”

Kio touched the baby's toes several times, and smiled at his father, as if to tell him that he liked his sister very much.

“Let's buy chocolate, Kio. Mama's going to rest. Tomorrow we come here again yes, dear,” Ros invites the toddler to come home, and the child with his mark follows what his caregiver says. They go home, while Tomi still has to be there looking after his wife.

“I turn on the lights yes, baby. I want to take a photo to my mama,” Tomi told Dara. Dara knew exactly, her in-laws did not ask about the condition of her pregnancy at all. Even with the distance of Jakarta Bandung very close, no one came to see him. He tried to remain heartened, after all it was not a priority for him. Most importantly, she had met the baby.
