Chapter 13 - My Love Arrives!

In the corner of the donut shop, Dara was sipping a cup of long black, accompanied by a piece of doughnut with refined sugar. He was so enjoying those moments even though his back was increasingly unable to linger sitting upright, holding the weight of the stomach that had been getting down.

Dara had just finished a routine check-up for her pregnancy. According to his doctor, in the next few days, he will soon meet the baby. His spirit was burning, and in the slightest did not feel afraid of the process he was about to undergo.

They will take care of all the patients of the guidance doctor until he comes,” the doctor packed all his equipment, then say goodbye to Dara and her husband.

Dara is not resourceful. How can he only be at two centimeters when it has been almost two days he felt pain. After returning from the hospital, he took time to swim in his apartment. He still let Tomi go to the office, the next day.

That morning, Dara woke up a little later than usual. Her husband has been away from work since six in the morning. Dara doesn't want to spend time. The pain in his stomach was the same. He immediately ate his breakfast and headed to the swimming pool.

Dara returned to her apartment unit. Inside the elevator, he could feel even more intense pain. Eventually, the effort was fruitful as well. He took a shower, then changed his clothes. Her hair was wet, and she had a hairdryer.

Dara was silent for a moment. A pain he had never felt before, wrapped around his stomach. He quickly finished what he was doing, then sat half-lying on the sofa. His hand opened the contraction counter app.

He could feel, his stomach was hardened for a moment along with the pain that strengthened when it happened. Contractions! No mistake, here it is!

The symptoms are more regular, with a longer duration, and a consistent distance. Dara could feel a little overwhelmed regulating her breathing. She decided to call her husband to come home.

Tomi sounded excited, as well as shocked when she got the phone call. Simultaneously, Dara could hear most of the office occupants were excited to hear her get a contraction.

They rushed to the hospital. There, Rian's doctor was waiting with Helen's doctor. Dara is already heading for opening 3. This means the opening is progressing.

Surprisingly, the pain only got stronger upon their arrival at the hospital. Finally Dara started to grimace. This pain he had never felt in his entire life. It was impossible for him to swallow even white water.

A nurse kept talking to him while putting an infusion on his left hand. After that Dara was taken away from the emergency room to the delivery ward. Unfortunately, due to strict regulations, Tomi is not allowed to accompany. He can only accompany Dara later after her delivery is over, and Dara is taken to her room.

Tomi was obviously worried. Especially when the doctor returned Dara's phone to him because the patient was not allowed to use the phone. It can interfere with their focus, and they can't rest.

Dara herself in the delivery ward. Of the three beds available, only one was filled, which he occupied. Doctors have installed a contraction-recording device on his stomach. Doctor Helen, and Rian finally offered her an anesthetic inserted through her spine. This can help ease the pain, so that Dara can stop screaming, and she can rest.

The anesthesia is not ordinary. He was asked to bend his body like a baby in the womb. An anesthesiologist ran the procedure on his spine, and like magic, the pain became very mild.

Dara draws and exhales her breath. He was now able to sleep quietly to gather his strength.

She woke up at nine in the morning, when the anesthetic was gone, and according to doctors she could no longer add an anesthetic dose, because it would threaten the safety of her baby. What can I do? Dara. He could only scream in pain like a tortured person. Doctor Andre came several times to calm him down, and occasionally rubbed his stomach to make him feel better.

The doctor also said he would bring Tomi into the ward to see her for a while.

Tom came into the room. He could feel the coldness of the air in the room, but his wife was sweating like a man who finished exercising. Several times, his wife screamed in her stomach. It seemed that Dara did not have the spirit to chat with Tomi. The man rubbed his wife's hair. Obviously the woman was in pain.

In the room, an anesthesiologist, Rian's doctor, Helen's doctor, their senior doctor, and two other nurses, were all around him, guiding her in labor. Dara looks very strong. The two Indonesian doctors encouraged him in Indonesian, and the senior doctor kept guiding him. It seems that this baby chuckles wants his mother to push stronger. Dara could feel her head start to turn dizzy, her eyes suddenly darkened, and she disappeared instantly. He could feel someone's cold hands patting him on the cheek, and voices telling him to get up.
