The Wasted Bride

The Wasted Bride
The Extra Part 1 (Aldair-Fani)

"Sir, tomorrow I tell you to stay there."

Fani stopped washing her dishes.

A pair of Aldair's hands hugged him from behind, "If you don't want to. I can tell Mom" Aldair said, looking at the anger on his wife's face.

Fani sighed, "No need Mas, we just stay there. Mom and Dad will miss you too" replied Fani while cleaning her hands from the rest of the foam.

She let go of Aldair's hand and turned around, looking at her husband's sad face.

"She's fine, Mom."

Fani holds Aldair's cheek, assuring the man.

"I'm sorry if Mas put you in a difficult position."

Aldair held Fani in his arms. The feeling of guilt grew even greater in his heart as he felt his wife's body tremble withstanding the cries.

"Sorry."

***

Aldair stared at the innocent face of Fani who was asleep. Unknowingly his tears trickled down recalling the pain his wife had caused by his family. Although Fani always says if he is okay. But the woman's eyes couldn't lie.

I don't know how many times Aldair sighed. Now he looked at the ceiling of his room. As he had talked with his wife before going to bed, if tomorrow they would stay at his parents' house.

Aldair does miss his Mom and Dad, but every time he had to bring Fani to their house it was not until the heart if he had to see the cold treatment of his family members against Fani. Only one man was always friendly and warm to his wife. Who else if not Arwaa.

He remembers asking his parents for their blessing to get married. Of course they are happy, welcome it full of days and likes. He thought that there must have been someone who could replace Arwaa in Aldair's heart.

But reality is not as good as expectation. When Aldair told him that the woman he was going to marry was Fani, his parents fell silent and stared hard at him.

He remembered when his mother began to weep for it, "O Allah Al, do you want to bring her to destroy your life again? Don't you realize that he's already got you caught up in the devil's lust, until you almost lost it all?!"

Aldair looked into his mother's eyes. He realized what his mother said was reality, but it seemed to be one they forgot or didn't even know. If he had forced Fani to stick with him at that time, and asked Fani to keep him with sweet promises that he had never even kept.

What has happened, is not all purely the fault of the woman he once loved.

"Mom, Fani has changed Mom. He had already emigrated, even now he closed his aura perfectly. He also always keeps his distance from men who aren't his mahrams."

"Where are you going to do that?" Sela Dad Aldair looked at her sharply.

"I've always watched him from afar... I'm stalking him."

Aldair lowered his head, not daring to look at the faces of his parents.

"Don't tell me you've been doing it for a long time? Hah, it's a waste of time," snorted Mr. Ahmad suddenly made Aldair look up.

"Oh, I swear to God, he's changed. He regretted his actions. He even asked me to meet him with Arwaa when we first met by accident at the Supermarket. He wants to apologize. He sincerely said it Well, Mom. I can see it" Aldair said, not liking his father's words.

"So you see sincerity in her eyes, but you're so hard you can't even see sincerity in Arwaa's eyes when she's a wife..."

Ahmad stood up and looked at Aldair, "Look! She hasn't been your wife yet, but she's been able to make you yell at your own mother!!"

Aldair stared at the second nanar, "It's not because of Fani Yah. I just don't like it if everything's always tied up with Arwaa. She's no longer my wife, Dad, Mom. She's Attalaric's wife now,"

"My fault with him is the past. It would be inappropriate to talk about it again when I want to start my future without it. Mom and Dad knew for themselves how sorry I was for everything that happened. But didn't Mom and Dad see how Arwaa forgave me so easily?"

"Originally, Mom and Dad knew. I've brought Fani to meet Arwaa at her house, and Arwaa welcomes her well, without any hatred and resentment in her eyes,"

"sincerity? That's what you want to know, isn't it? Yeah, I can. I could see the sincerity that was emanating from my sister's wife's eyes. It may be too late, but now I can understand and accept that Arwaa was not created for me because of her sincerity. She deserves better's. And the one who deserves to be with him and make him happy is my brother Attalaric."

Aldair's cheeks had been moistened by his tears that had been flowing since when.

"Arwaa has even given her blessing for me to marry Fani,"

"God gave me a second chance to get better is with Fani Well, Mom. The two of us are improving together because that's why I need him to accompany me in treading the path of hijrah is not easy."

Mr. Ahmad and Bu Hayya looked at his second son with different facial expressions. There was sadness in the eyes of the mother, while Mr. Ahmad, staring at Aldair flat.

"Please. Marry her, but do not expect Father and Mother to attend your wedding" said Mr. Ahmad who immediately pulled Bu Hayya away, leaving Aldair staring at his parents' backs.

Haa...

Remembering the incident made Aldair's heart able to feel his pain pulse back. Although in the end all members of his family came to his marriage with Fani. Of course all of that was due to Arwaa's persuasion. His sister's wife was even busy preparing for her marriage to Fani, two people who had hurt him so much.

"Maas?"

"Astaghfiullah!"

Aldair flinched and returned to his consciousness as soon as he felt a soft finger sweep on his cheek.

"Bread cry?" Fani asked, whose hand is now being held by Aldair.

"Eh, sorry. Not dik. It's just insomnia."

Aldair glanced at the clock that was neatly stuck on the wall of his room.

"The company Mas salat tahajjud ya," invited Aldair who was immediately embraced by Fani.

The couple moved and took turns to go ablution. Preparing to spend one third of the night on the Creator.

Wishing to always be given patience over him and his wife in facing all the trials. Be it from the family, or a test where they have not been given a baby back.

Allah is Most Fair. He eases everything when they are not yet halal bound, just to give a touch in life to return to Him.

And now Aldair and Fani also consider those who have not been given the confidence to get more children is to motivate them to try to improve themselves and solidify themselves in order to become good parents. Who has the knowledge of the world.
