Love Expressions

"Dear, please don't be weak anymore. I am tired of healing you who are always broken" - Arwaa.

_____________________________________________

Arwaa is currently busy cooking food for the family of her ex-husband. He didn't realize that someone was watching him. Who else if not Aldair.

When Ma Hayya and Hanna rest because they are still tired after their long journey. Aldair was sitting on the sofa in the middle room of the Arwaa apartment which was directly connected to the kitchen.

Actually the man had fallen asleep on the sofa, just woke up because of the sound from the kitchen. It turned out that there was a woman who was currently still occupying his heart.

Aldair moved and slowly walked towards the kitchen.

"Is there anything I can help you with?"

'Clontang'

The spatula that Arwaa was holding fell down. He was shocked by Aldair's voice.

"Are you okay?"

In a hurry, Aldair approached Arwaa and was about to examine his hand that might be exposed to oil from the spatula he was holding earlier. But Arwaa immediately pulled his hand creating a disappointed look on the face of the man who had been his Imam.

"I'm fine, Mom. I-sorry her sleep was disturbed because of me," said Arwaa stammered.

Aldair smiled bitterly at Arwaa who was avoiding him. What he did was spontaneous, he was only worried if Arwaa was injured. But it seems Aldair also forgot that they were no longer a couple, so could not touch just anyone. No wonder Arwaa behaves like that. Moreover, the accident was just a small accident.

"It's okay" Aldair said.

Arwaa. His nose smells of gos...

"Allahuacbar! Mas Gosong!"

Arwaa shouted and instantly turned off her electric stove and it shocked Aldair.

They stared for a moment before the laughter of the two broke out.

"I'm sorry" Aldair said after he was able to control himself. He felt this incident was indeed his fault for disturbing the focus of Arwaa who was cooking.

Arwaa holds the chest. His heart beat fast. No, not because of the ex. But due to his surprise because of the burnt cuisine makes the kitchen area smoky.

"It's not wrong Mas Genta hehe. It's okay anyway. For lunch I just order food from the outside, yes," said Arwaa is not good because he could not entertain his guests well.

After the incident in the kitchen, Arwaa and Aldair were not too awkward with each other. I don't know even if there are feelings that can't be described in the heart. Arwaa chose not to think too much about it because no matter what it was for, she already had no relationship with Aldair. And not expecting it anymore.

Arwaa just wants to try to make peace with the situation. Maybe in this way he can begin to mengikhlaskan the pain that once the man was inscribed.

At night Arwaa, Hayya, Hanna and Aldair gather in the middle room of Arwaa's apartment. They talk about random things. Aldair was quieter himself. As if there were a lot of things he was thinking about.

Aldair did say before if he came here there was indeed an affair with someone who wanted to join his restaurant business. Tomorrow too he has permission to go to meet the person who will join him.

Tonight Arwaa sleeps with Hanna in Uncle Jhonny's room as her little elf continues to whine not wanting to escape her mother. While Bu Hayya and Aldair in the usual room Arwaa occupy, of course with the addition of a folding mattress for Aldair.

Actually in the apartment there is one more room that can be used as a room, but Uncle Jhonny made it as a library and workspace.

Drrt... Drrt...

Arwaa glanced at her cell phone lying on the small table next to Uncle Jhonny's bed. The name of her former brother-in-law is written there. For a moment Arwaa saw Hanna who was fast asleep, then went to the balcony to pick up the phone from Attalaric.

"Assalamu'alaikum," greetings from across the phone.

"Wa'alaikumsalam Mas."

"Sorry, call at this hour. It must be night."

"It's okay, Mom. I'm supposed to put Hanna to bed anyway" Arwaa smiled slightly. He thought that if Attalaric must have been worried about Hanna, that's why the man contacted him.

Although actually the most feared man across the phone there is the whereabouts of his sister who is also in the same place with his daughter.

"I'm sorry to bother you with Hanna. Mas didn't take the drop-off because there's a job that can't be left at the company."

They were silent for a moment. Arwaa looked at the sparkling stars in the Calgary sky. Too much to make the mind drift. Until he is awakened by the call of Attalaric.

"Was... Arawaa..."

"E-eh I'm sorry I was daydreaming."

"Are you okay?" Attalaric's question sounded anxious.

"Hm... I'm fine."

"Although with my sister there?"

Arwaa's body froze. He was indeed agitated by Aldair, but he tried to make peace with it. However, it is not possible for them to break the cord just because they are no longer bound in the bonds of marriage.

"I'm fine, Mom. Inshaallah."

Sounding if Attalaric sighed across there made Arwaa smile knot. His heart warmed slightly due to the concerns of his former brother-in-law.

"Good if so Arwaa. I hope you are no longer haunted by your memories with my sister, and can mengikhlaskan your past with her."

"Why are you talking like that?" Arwaa asked a little clumsy with Attalaric's words making the man chuckle a little at the voice of the girl he secretly hoped to be the Mother of his little daughter.

"Uncle Jhonny told me that someone proposed to you, but you refused."

Arwaa was silent for a moment. A little dislike turns out his uncle told Attalaric about it.

"Maybe it's not a soul mate yet."

"Alhamdulillah then."

"Well?" Arwaa was surprised by the response Attalaric gave.

"Hehe I'm sorry if I offended you. I'm just glad Hanna finally had a chance."

Arwaa's forehead was wrinkled, slightly having trouble grasping the intent of Attalaric's speech.

"What do you mean?"

"Yes. Hanna still has a chance to be Arwaa's son."

Arwaa tongue. He finally understood what his former brother-in-law meant.

"Sorry if it seems rude to say this over the phone..."

Silence covered them for a moment because Arwaa still did not know what to say.

"Mas just wanted to let you know that Mas would come there to pick up Hanna and. propose to you..."

"M-mas?"

"Mas knows this is very sudden for you. I have long held a love for you Arwaa. Even when you were still the wife of Mas's sister..."

"At that time Mas could still harbor this feeling. But when Mas learned of Aldair's treatment of you, Mas had already decided to fight for you Arwaa."

Arwaa's blood rippled.

Instantly his moments of togetherness with Attalaric and Hanna flashed in his mind. Although not much, but always leave an impression that he can not forget. It's just that Arwaa still thinks if the attention Attalaric given is just a concern for his sister-in-law.

"You don't have to answer now. It's just that I want you to think about it seriously. So when Mas comes later, Mas can hear the answer from you that Mas hope is the answer that can make Mas and Hanna happy,"

"Then close it first. You must be tired too, rest. Mas love you. Assalamu'alaikum."

Arwaa looked blankly at her phone screen after Attalaric turned off her phone unilaterally not even waiting for Arwaa to answer her greetings.

What left him speechless were the expressions of the man who managed to make Arwaa's heart feel like flying into the clouds. This was the first time he had heard an expression of love from someone who felt so sincere.

Even the vibe in his heart was different from the times with Mehmet. I don't know why the feeling in him right now feels more special.
