The Wasted Bride

The Wasted Bride
Close Friend of Men?

Arwaa shut her mouth. He was so shocked when someone hit Marius that he made the man fall down.

Seba, he was suspicious to see Arwaa's apartment door open this night. That's why he intends to check the situation of his friend's nephew, Jhonny.

Ignoring Arwaa's dislike, Seba immediately ran over and hit the man who was cornering Arwaa. It is also his job to protect the public from crime.

"What's this?"

Grace stared at the confused chaotic scene in Arwaa's apartment as she exited Arwaa's room. He had just finished his business inside the toilet because today he was having diarrhea, a normal effect of feeding tube use.

"What the he*k Marius, don't tell me you made this mess?!" Grace looked at her cousin who was still sitting on the floor.

"It's okay Grace, there was just a little misunderstanding" Arwaa approached Grace and calmed her down.

"Misunderstanding what? It's obvious the guy wants to hit you, Arwaa. If you're acting like this I could call your Uncle, "sniffed Seba.

Grace's eyes rounded when she heard that her cousin had almost hit Arwaa.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?! Why are you doing that, you want to hurt my best friend huh?!!" Pekik Grace looked at Marius's nymph.

The man chuckled slightly before standing back up and wiping a little blood on the tip of his lips from Seba's punch.

"Looking at you like this seems like I agree with what your mother said about you being a stupid kid. How not, many people have hurt you by pretending to be your friend. Now you're stuck in the same hole again,"

"Don't you understand Grace if she just wants to use you, just like your previous friends..."

'Plak'

Marius fell silent as soon as Grace slapped his cheek. With a gasping breath Grace looked at her cousin defiantly.

"You don't understand Marius. Arwaa was different, she was my savior, she understood me, and she was also the one who always calmed my heart. Even if Arwaa wants treasure, she doesn't have to use me to get it because she's the niece of Mr. Jhonny Lau Dodger. You know very well who she is" Grace presses to make Marius stare in disbelief at Arwaa.

Arwaa, looking only at Grace and her cousin, grunts her and leaves after she reminds Arwaa to contact her if something happens.

Arwaa was a little amazed at Seba because even though the man did not like him but he still carried out his duties well. Uncle Jhonny, Emma, even Susan and Tommy say that Seba seems creepy too, but he is actually a gentle and caring person.

"So you're really Mr. Jhonny's nephew?"

I don't know how many times Marius asked Arwaa, even Grace was upset.

Arwaa just sighed and nodded her head in response.

"You sure about that? Because as far as I know Mr. Jhonny only has one nephew, if not wrong Sean name... OW!! GRACE!!" Marius shrieked as Grace pressed the wound on her lips that she was treating.

"You ask too many questions. Didn't Arwaa answer that earlier, he was indeed the nephew of Uncle Marco's business partner, your father."

Marius' gaze made Arwaa feel uneasy so she excused herself first to go to the room after telling Grace that the girl could stay if she wanted to stay, but on the condition that Marius leave because Arwaa does not accept male guests if there is no mahramnya.

The blonde-haired man stared at Arwaa's back, which was moving away from her door until Grace hit her on the head.

"What do you see? Shall I open your eyes?!" Said Grace who was met with a snort by Marius.

Arwaa herself immediately accepted Grace's apology. After all, she also understood why Marius had done such a thing back then, after hearing Grace's story, if Marius was the only family who cared for her, and was somewhat protective, given Grace's special circumstances.

On his way home from his college Arwaa saw Marius sitting in the garden near his apartment building.

At first Arwaa wanted to pretend not to see the man because she personally still felt annoyed by Marius' accusations against her when they first met.

But it turns out Marius who saw Arwaa just immediately called him and ran to Arwaa.

"Hey, I've been waiting for you ever since."

Arwaa's brows were linked, not understanding Marius's intent. Waiting for him? Wh-wh-what for?

"Is there anything I want to talk to you about, can we talk to you for a second over there?" Marius asked pointing at the garden chair that was right under the shady tree.

In her heart Arwaa actually wanted to refuse, but in retrospect, she did not want to have any problems with this blond man anymore. Marius is an irritable and negative-minded person, especially those close to his cousin. Grace told him a while ago.

So inevitably Arwaa nodded and followed behind Marius who was walking towards the park.

"I wanted to apologize before" Marius said as they sat down.

"I was too quick to judge someone close to Grace as having malicious intentions on the girl," he lowered his head and played his finger.

"It's okay. I understand why you did that, Grace told me. And yes, I forgive you. There's no need to worry anymore." [And yes, I forgive you. There's nothing to worry about anymore.]

"Thank you. Now I believe that you're a kind and sincere person and are friends with Grace. Moreover, seeing the development of himself now who is willing to try to eat and drink directly even a little,"

"All because of you, Grace says she's always tempted by your food. Even he was constantly praising your cooking in front of me," Marius chuckled in light of the silliness of his cousins as they talked about Arwaa.

"I'm so happy to see her smiling again like now. You know, before meeting you Grace never talked to me long, even giving her a smile was rare,"

"That girl is like my own sister. I love him so much, probably more than his parents and siblings. Haa..."

Arwaa looked at Marius as the man let out a heavy sigh. It seems that Grace means a lot to Marius.

"The girl's life was too heavy, even from childhood had to keep all her own grief because her family did not care about her at all. Even with me even though we were close but he still did not open himself, different if you. He dares to tell you about himself and his family, too,"

"He said you were like an angel who came to help him. Her life turned more colorful when she got to know you."

Marius smiled gently and turned towards Arwaa making Arwaa turn her gaze in the opposite direction because she felt uneasy with Marius' gaze.

"So I was curious too. What if by getting to know you more closely, my life would be as colorful as what Grace said. So wanna go out with me? I want to know you more, and I don't think about your belief." [So you want to date me? I want to get to know you further, after all I have no problem with your beliefs.]

Arwaa was stunned to hear that. He is confused as to what to answer. Grace and Marius are different, it is impossible for him to be close friends or even to date Marius because Arwaa has never been too familiar with a man who is not his family and he is not dating either.

"Grace hurry home," Arwaa's mind was agitated. If she rejects him Arwaa fears Marius is offended and returns furious.

What to do?
