Restraint

"I'll just buy milk tea for cactus." Nania sat on the couch.

"I know." While Daryl is straddling.

"Why are you angry?" Nania was scared.

"Who is angry? I'm just talking, and I'm talking like this. How long have you lived with me? Time doesn't memorize either?" Daryl explained.

"Your screams make me cringe if you get angry again. It's normal, why?" nania protest.

"I told you this was just a habit."

"Yes, the habit of being angry." The woman took off her shoes and socks, also put her school bag on the side of the sofa, then she laid down her body.

"Today I lemes, came the moon banyaaaak really, to the point that I changed the pads twice. Where does my stomach feel like it's kayaking in peres again, mules, kind of painful too. It's usually not like this." He hugged his own stomach.

"Fastly go home, don't stop by first. At home you can take a break, ask for any food or drink. It's not like this, is it?" Daryl approached and sat down on the edge of the sofa.

He removed the strands of hair blocking Nania's face and slipped them behind his ears.

"So it was thirsty, so just look at the milk tea man I stopped by."

"I told you there was a home too."

"But I want to buy."

"You think the one at home asked for that? The same is purchased. Does what's in here taste bad?"

"Nob."

"Why keep stopping by for that reason?"

"Yes, please. Then if we go for a long walk and I want milk tea when we have to go home first?" Nania turned the question around.

"It's a different story, Malyshka!"

"Yes that too, right? Wait until the house is thirsty! You don't understand!" Nania started whining.

"Heh, why is it like this? I'm just talking?" Daryl rubbed his back.

"Samely, I just bought milk tea!"

The man rolled his eyeballs.

"Yes, this." He grabbed the cup that Nania had placed on the table which she then handed to him.

"Ah, it's not good. Because you! The ice on the liquid hunt becomes diluted!" Nania returned the drink to her husband.

"It's been a while."

"Yes, if you don't rant I won't forget to drink!"

"Hmmm …." The man nodded while pursing his mouth. "I told Mima to make it for you, would you?"

"No way."

"Do I have Regan buy it again?"

"No, I'm not in the mood." Nania twisted the position so that her face slumped in the corner of the sofa.

"Malyshka, listen!" Daryl took it back.

"You're married, and your goal after school is home. Not that I want to curb you but that's how it should be. If you want to go wait for me. We'll go wherever you want."

Nania speechless.

"Everything has its time. And now school is your priority, isn't it a full week anyway? Is it hard to hold back a little? Later on the weekend, or when you do not go to school ask me, then I will take you wherever you want. Now, focus on your school first."

The woman did not respond.

"Malysha!" Daryl lowered his body so he could see his wife's face more clearly.

"Where can I give you more trust? After this there will definitely be other reasons to come home late or go somewhere. And eventually you won't appreciate my time and trust. That's why I chose an online school for you yesterday."

Nania thought.

"Women always think that the rules that men apply are a form of restraint. But see? A little freedom can even make you disobey, right? Just given the trust of the school you've been like this, especially if I let you be free like everyone else? I don't know what it's gonna be." The man got up.

"You're Daryl Stanislav's wife, there are things you can't do like everyone else. But with me you can do anything. That's if you follow."

Nania remained silent.Β

Then a knock on the door interrupted their conversation.

"Yes?"

"Let's just put it here." Daryl pointed at the table, and Mima immediately walked in and placed a tray containing lunch for her employer.

"Later, after this please make a spice potion huh, Mima? Nania is coming to the moon. Do you know what to drink to feel better? His stomach hurt and was squeezed" he said.

"Oh, first day?" Mima asked Nania.

"Yes, the month came from last night, but he said today a lot." But Daryl answered.

"Good, Sir. I'll do something later. The first day was like that."

"Thank you, Mima."

"Yes Sir. I'm back downstairs?"

"Yes, please."

Then the woman came out of the room.

"Let's eat?" Daryl sat back on the edge of the sofa where Nania lay behind him.

"Malysha!"

"I'm not hungry."

"Stay to eat. Your body is unstable, right? At least that's what I know from the books I read." Daryl grabbed a plate filled with rice and some of his side dishes.

But Nania was still silent without any response.

"You mad?" The man looked back down to check, then he sighed as Nania remained unresponsive in protest that day.

"All right, it's up to you." Then he put the plate back on the tray and got up while fixing his clothes.

"I must have gone home the night, didn't have to wait for me then" she said, then she came out without waiting for an answer.

"Der, what's wrong?" Sofia's voice sounded before the man closed the door.

Nania got up then settled down and reopened the door, then she peeked. Her husband came down with Sofia.

"It can't be like that, Der. Nania needs to get out, too." Her mother-in-law spoke again.

"It's time to get out. Especially now that he is in school. And as a married woman she can only go with me." Daryl answered.

"Nania didn't just stop by for a minute to buy a drink, what's wrong? He's with Regan anyway, isn't he? Don't always have a problem."

"Regan's just a errand boy, he'll obey if asked to do something, won't be able to resist the order."

"Don't overdo it that way. This is the modern age, not the age where women can be restrained!"

"I'm not restraining him, I'm just showing him how he should be with his current status. If we weren't married, I could have let him do as he pleased. But now I have an obligation to protect her. Mama doesn't know what can happen out there." Daryl answered his mother's statement.

"There's Regan!"

"I've said he won't be able to resist some things. For example today."

"But Nania's not your prisoner, she's your wife!" sofia said again.

"Who said that?"

"At least don't treat him like he's your prisoner. Tell him to do something inappropriate, yell and yell, then what else? You treat her as if she were your slave?"

Daryl.

"What did Mama say?"

"Mama just …."

"It's too late, Mom. I'm sorry I had to go." Daryl saw his watch.

Sofia can't boast anymore, because this won't be finished easily.

"Let's talk again, okay?" And the son almost came out.

"But you haven't eaten yet, because it's waiting for Nania right?" Sofia.

"Step, Mom. It's too late afternoon. Maybe later." And the man hurriedly headed for his car that had been ready since then, then left just as he had said.

While Nania was silent after listening to the debate at the top of the stairs.
