"When did you know?" The middle-aged couple sat on the back porch staring at their son's house.

Two-story building with a minimalist design that looks comfortable. Moreover, it was filled with various flowers and plants around it. Plus the park in front of him that makes the area look more beautiful.

Satria sighed softly. It feels hard to say this, but what can I do? His wife already knows.

"Say when did you know? I'm sure you knew it long before me, so don't try to cover it up again." Sofia warned.

Since morning he chose to be alone and remember what was missed in the growth of his twin son.

It didn't feel like anything, except when Daryl was running late on all fours. He will never forget when Darren can do so much. But other with Daryl, he can only be silent in his place even though they are one year old.

Her son was always crying when they let him crawl on the floor to feel motivated by his twin. And Sofia just felt that it was a normal thing.

Doesn't every baby have its own unique features?

Some are slow to crawl, but can quickly sit. Some walk quickly, but have difficulty speaking. Some do not crawl, but can run. And all kids can't be equated, can they?

After all, there was always Bu Lilly beside them who was ready to do anything including taking care of Daryl more than the other siblings.

But this turned out to be ….

"Darling …." Satria also opened her voice.

"Daryl is my son. Why are you hiding something like this? Do you know how I feel right now? Knowing something I should have known since they were kids? Do you know?" Sofia crept on her husband's shoulder.

"Darling, listen to me."

"No! You should have listened to me!" said the woman.

"Imagine how difficult it was for him to deal with this from childhood to adolescence? How did he go through it himself, and how could he do it himself? How could? Especially when they're in Moscow?"

"Daryl is not alone, dear. There's always someone to look after and take care of whatever he needs."

"What?"

"Our son is not alone, there is always someone who helps him do what pu so that he can get through those times without significant difficulties."

"That means ... Does anyone know other than you?"

Satria nodded her head.

"Why are you guys quiet? Why are you covering it up for me? Why?" Sofia's emotions were overflowing.

"Dear, please calm down." Satria tried to quell his wife's anger.

"How can I calm down while my son goes through his days with great difficulty? How does he do things like no one else, and you tell me to calm down? How do you think I feel?"

"This is what makes him say nothing to us. Making him hide his flaws from the family, and causing our son to cover this up from anyone. He didn't want it to be like this. Because Daryl knew that his mother would be very sad if she knew the flaws. He knows that you will be devastated to learn that your son is not as normal as everyone else. She's afraid to make you sad, baby!" Satria held onto his wife's shoulder, and looked at those two wet eyes that had wept over her son's condition since morning.

"This is what he doesn't want. And moreover, he was afraid that people would pity or treat him differently if he knew of his flaws. Don't you know that self-esteem is the main thing for him? And that's what Darren and I are looking after. Because if you don't, then Daryl will feel useless."

Sofia's cry came to a halt, but her gaze remained focused on Satria.

"Darren?" His forehead is a little bit.

"Yes. Who do you think took care of her so she could be okay until now? Other guy? Nope. But Darren."

"He's fine, and they're able to handle it well. Aren't you proud of that?" satria.

"And I chose to let him handle this in his own way since knowing it when Darren told me after they graduated High School. Instead of acting like a person who knows everything. Those who understand each other are themselves, not us. And Daryl is comfortable with that."

"But if only we had known since she was a child, then there would have been nothing we could have done to deal with this so Daryl could be like everyone else." He remembered when the son had a hard time dressing like this morning.

"He's smart, he's capable of a lot of things. He's a class champion, always number one in science and martial arts. And now he has been transformed into the leader of the effort you set up, and our son succeeded. Then what's the problem if he can't button up his shirt and tie his shoelaces? Only two simple things can be replaced with anything."

Sofia was silent again.

"Clothes and shoes can be modified, and anything can be made easily today, so what are we concerned about? Leave him with his comfort and his own way of life. Daryl's been all right?"

"He'll talk if he wants to talk about it. And will be quiet if you don't want to. All we can do is respect his decision. He has the right to decide anything for himself. Trust me, it'll be great." Satria pulls the woman into the arms and Sofia's cry breaks again.

While the two people behind them were silent a thousand languages. Nania even crumpled her husband's fingers as long as they listened to the conversation of the two old men in silence. He kept Daryl from reacting every time he heard what his mother had said since they entered the mansion at midday.

And their decision to go home for wanting to eat together seemed to be the way for the two to open up the matter for real.

Daryl walked towards the back, with Nania's hand still in his grasp. Then he let go when he was close to his parents. Then Daryl immediately embraced the two of them.

"I'm okay, Mom. Don't worry!" He muttered.

Sofia and Satria turned. Both of them look quite surprised by the existence of their son who was at home when time was still day.

"Daryl?" The mother reacted.

"You've done it, son? Wh-why?" ask her.

"It's okay, just want to go home." The man embraced his parents.

"It's okay, don't worry" he said.

Sofia was silent for a while, but she hugged her son back.

"I'm sorry Mama, son. Not being aware of your situation like this. Forgive Mama." He's back sobbing.

"No. It's not your fault. I'm okay, see? I grew up well and it was thanks to my mom. No one takes care of me as well as Mama." Daryl returned his mother's embrace.

Sofia was crying again.

"It's okay. Darren also takes good care of me so I can be like this. And now …." The man took off his embrace for a moment then looked back where Nania was.

He stretched out his hand so that the woman approached them. And there's nothing else that Daryl did but take his wife for him to hug as well with his parents.

"I also have a nurse at home, so don't worry about me. It's alright." he said, which made Sofia's crying break again.

He buried his face in the chest of the son and tightened his embrace. Right now there was nothing else Sofia wanted to do but show her feelings. Even though it doesn't feel like it's enough.
