The police handcuffed Anna's wrist. There was not the slightest resistance that Anna had put in. The woman followed the steps of the two policemen who attacked her.
They led Anna out of the middle room. Vio followed behind them. When Anna reached the main doorway, Vio stopped the police officer who was still holding her arm.
"Wait!" vio exclaimed, then half ran over to the mother.
Vio stared at Anna flatly, then brought his lips closer to the mother's ear. Vio wants to reveal a message before the mother is taken to the police station.
"Calm, Ma. I'm a good boy. So, as long as you're in jail, I'll make sure the house, the car, and the money are safe, not reduced or damaged in the slightest." A slanted smile was now engraved on the lips of the beautiful woman.
Anna turned her head slightly, so her and Vio's gazes now met. The woman smiled and replied to all the words of the child. He didn't want to just lose to Vio.
"My son, I'll make sure you regret everything. I won't be in jail long because of the scant evidence! After I get out of prison, prepare to accept your true destruction!"
"That's enough! Come with us to the police station!" said one of the policemen who took Anna.
"For you Mrs Violetta. We are also waiting for your arrival as a witness. We'll send you a call soon."
"Good, sir." Vio smiled gently.
They all started to enter the car. Anna looked at the hateful Vio through the window of the car. Seeing that, it made Vio feel proud. He successfully avenged some of the grudges against the stepmother.
Vio raised his hand while waving to take Anna away. Even Vio said goodbye with a look of joy. After the police car disappears from view, Vio re-enters the house.
Inside the house, Jason still faithfully holds Javier who is still asleep. Some of Vio's relatives began to say goodbye one by one. The mansion was now deserted, leaving only a few servants and a small family of Vio.
"Tonight we will stay here. Next, you can take care of the company. Tomorrow I'll hold a board meeting." Vio takes over Javier's petite body and climbs into his room.
The next day, Vio met with the board of directors in the company of his late father. He has to start everything from scratch with the help of Jason. It turns out that the company of the father is in a state of chaos.
Financial statements are out of sync with turnover as well as other budgets. It turns out that not only the mother who uses company money for personal purposes. Some employees misuse funds set up for research purposes.
They all conspired to make false reports. Companies go bankrupt not only because of investors who withdraw their shares. However, it is also a result of the bad nature of the employees who work in it.
"My head almost broke from thinking about everything. I should've gone to business school, not interior design!" Vio drowned his face inside both palms.
"Dear, drink! Breastfeeding mothers should not be stressed." Jason offered a glass of warm chocolate to his wife.
Vio raised his face again, then grabbed the glass offered by the husband. Vio blew on the sweet liquid, then took a slow sip. The caffeine contained in the chocolate, was able to calm Vio down that second as well.
Vio put the cup back on the table, then leaned back on the chair head. Jason smiled faintly. He circled around Vio's desk and stopped right behind his wife, then gently massaged the woman's shoulders.
"All will be well. We started everything from the beginning. I heard, the factory still continues to produce with existing raw materials. Let's empower the scientists to create the new drugs that are needed today." Jason uttered every sentence full of conviction.
"Ah, for a while ..we just produce supplements to maintain skin beauty as well as some supplements to maintain endurance. How's it?"
"Alright, this would be a good consideration. But, for beauty supplements, we need more time to research them."
"No problem, we sell everything first. In line with that we have to improve the performance of the marketing team while running research for beauty supplements."
Vio could breathe a little more freely now. Jason is the most reliable. The idea is so brilliant in business.
I don't know where Jason got that skill. Though he used to have a college education based on information science and technology. Jason's ability in business, presumably because it comes from the genes of his parents.
"All right then. Thank you, dear." Vio smiled widely, turned his chair around, then hugged the body of the husband.
After that both help the marketing team to market the stock that still settles in the factory warehouse. They advertise in some e-commerce. In addition, it offers such products to small pharmacies and hospitals at a return price.
While inside the police station, Anna is being interrogated. He was more silent, which upset the police. The dim atmosphere of the interrogation room felt so gripping, but not for Anna.
The woman looks relaxed. In fact, there was no look of regret on his face. He occasionally chuckles when he gets questions about his motives for killing Jhonson and his wife.
"We'll call a psychologist. I'm guessing you're out of your mind, Madam. Return him to the cell!" exclaims a cop named Vector.
"Please permit, sir! Someone wants to see Miss Anna."
"All right, meet them!"
Anna was taken to a small room with a glass barrier in the front. Outside the room was a man he knew so well sitting on his back. Anna pulls the chair and lands the buttocks on it.
"What are you here for? Mom said never look a little!" exclaim Anna.
The man turned the chair and looked at his mother. Mathew's eyes looked red with eyelids that looked swollen. The man's nose was red because of the rest of the crying.
"I'm gonna get Mom out of here. I told you from the beginning not to do anything, Mom. See now? It's all so fucked up."
"What did you say? So, you're blaming the mother for taking all your father's property?" Anna widened her eyelids so that her eyeballs were patterned.
"It's all because of bankruptcy! It's not Mr Smith's fault! Come on, wake up Mom!"
Anna immediately stood up and kicked the table in front of her. The woman's jaw looked hard. A breath of rage was now sweeping across the glass that bound Anna and Mathew.
"It's been my sacrifice all along! Living with people I don't love, to restore our family's economic condition! And now, my dutiful son blames me!"
